As ever thanks to those blondes who have donated towards making sure these updates take place, notably for this month bobalike and Eso Kral who funded this update out of last month's binks.

I am afraid to say this might be the last of these updates for a while. We do not have the income to fund them, and the volume of donations has slowed considerably, understandably enough. We can't rely on a donation fund for ever.

No matter, will make the most of today and see what the future holds

Let's all do a big win :)

And especially GL to Tighty, will definitely donate a chunk if I bink a good cash. That's a promise.

Probably some sparks in the Orlando/Gordon Goodall hands. They both play together almost every night (or have done for a while) at Gala/Alea lol.

Orlando won his seat in the monthly final table challenge!

Things, exit wise, have slowed up early this month

Only two exits in the last 40 minutes and still 53 left

Looking at the bigger stacks and selected names who are friends of yours

Paul Romain 200,000 still

Jason Barton has won the stack back off Steve Jelinek. He has approaching 200,000 too

Jack McDermott challenging for the chip lead

Andrew Hulme 170,000

Shola Akindele 115,000 despite doublling two shorties up KK<A7 and AQ<AK blind on blind

Simon Deadman over 100,000

Alex Goulder similarly

Matt Tyler 130,000

James Atkin hanging grimly on with 10-15x bb, sitting to the direct right of Nick Hicks with 130,000

blinds are just about to go 2-4k and average is 101,100

and now 50 are left, 36 paid

Alex Goulder out

Down to 45,000 after "losing a series of small pots"

He shoved A-9 and Jack McDermott found A-K behind and held

Andrew Hulme over 200,000 and vying with McDermott for the chip lead

Ian Gascoine opened for 11,000 with 10-10

Andrew flatted with 3-3

In the blinds Wayne Thomas all in 40,000ish with A-Q

Gascoine folds

Andrew calls

Ace on the flop, three on the turn to knock Thomas out

Pretty sure he is predominantly an online player, but plays a fair share of live tournaments. I've normally seen him at The International, so guessing he's from London. Not played with him a huge deal, but from what I've seen, a real good player.

I arrive to see a 3 way all in on a  Kh 7s 6s board

Orlando Anderson is all in with 4-5

Simon Deadman is all in with Q-Q

Ian Gascoigne covering both all in with Aspades Js

I gather now Orlando called the Deadman raise/Ian flat of the raise in the small blind and open jammed the flop

and was called in two spots

turn 6

river 8

no spades

Orlando trebles up

Deadman wins the side pot with Queens, but is nevertheless down to <10x bb

Chris Forde raises UTG, having been active the previous orbit

Deadman shoves his 160,000 in from the small blind

Called straight away

Forde K-K

A master of understatement, Deadman tells the table "that's not good news"

He shows K-9cc

flop a rather miraculous 6c 2c 9s

Incredibly Deadman misses on the Q-3 turn and river and is out 14th

Well now

All bar one player agreed £10,300 for the chip leader and £7k for everyone else. 3rd in the payout is £10k, 4th £7k

chip leader is William Anderson

O'Connor and Akindele have gone back to the pack, blinding away, raise/folds

The refusal is from a medium stack, none of those mentioned in this post

the two short stacks, notably Shola, turned down an equity deal that gave them £6-7k

re-proposed the £9k each

Anderson gave up the equity

they agreed £9,000 each with £10,000 to

William Anderson, who is the official winner of the DTD October Deepstack

I'm fairly confident in my read that he (a) doesn't give a fcuk and (b) enjoys the competitive spirit of the whole affair.

Besides, my Skype sessions on table selection continue this week. Put those 9bags in a treasure chest, chain it shut, chuck it to the bottom of the ocean. The only way Mitch can get it then is if he's muthafckin Jacques Cousteau.

Knowing Mitch's luck, it'd probably float from said ocean to the bed of the Trent right outside his house. He'd be walking past it, trip up and fall in the river, and see the chest at the bottom, bink the combination to the lock at the first attempt and rub the cash over his very large titties.

this,

we're all friends at dtd, and all the bumhunting jokes are just that, jokes. we make them to his face all the time and it's just part of the dynamic of our group.

how people can comment saying they disapprove is a bit beyond me, given they've no idea of our friendships with Ian.

I know for more than a fact that everyone in this thread that has had the slightest rib at Ian were all sweating that he'd do well. Not for any bumhunting reasons, because they genuinely like him.

Ian will admit that he is the biggest needler of himself. Hes a very very smart guy and is improving his poker ability immensely. He admits himself he is value to people like Mitch and Alex and makes fun of himself about the subject, which is why everyone else does similar. Hes not as bad as he, or anyone else makes out.

Definately agree with Alex

Tighty, has DTD changed the blind structure recently, I know a deal was done with 9 players still remaining but 6pm finish still seems early? I know the clock was changed from 45 minutes to 40 minutes a while ago but have there been any blind structure changes in the last few months?

All im going to say on the subject, is that ian played very well when i was on his table earlier and im sure simon (who was also there) would agree. Was obviously catching some cards but played his hands very well and made some good calls, congrats mr gascoigne on a well deserved score, it was fun playing with you.

Oh and if this is about ian... He DEFINITELY was not the fish on the final table, one of the best players imo

Just to clarify what I wrote in the traffic jam last night

Ian is a big supporter of blonde, one of the businesses of which he is chairman www.mycardshark.com has sponsored updates and again last night post event he offered to do so again

Because I know Ian quite well I know he can laugh at himself, and I know he will take the mickey taking the right way if I post things that, if I did not know the player, I wouldn't dream of posting.

Ian is a big Sheffield Wednesday fan. It helps that for the first time in ages they are having a good season, so he's anturally in quite good spirits!
