Removed my Leicester City car dice, just in case

Please join me for 2pm

Many many blondes in the field, lets hope we get a scoop for some of them.....

Ryan Spittles starts the day well

3 bets to 4700 over a Jamie Sykes open to 2,000. Sykes folds

Spittles recognised his table was a tough one when he saw the draw, but thinking poitiviely reckoned it provided him good opportunities for the double he needs to approach an average stack

First big pot today involves Sonia Padovani

Senh Ung raised and Sonia peeled in the big blind

they saw a A-J-10 flop and two stacks were in a flurry

Ung J-J beats Padovani A-10 in a cooler flop

First three exits today

A few no shows, the home football match causing traffic and parking problems galore, an unfortunate clash of dates, really

Andrew Psaras 3,4000 from 5,500 in late position with  Ac 9c

Rick Trigg 7,500 on the button

Andrew wants to shove, but feels that Trigg is trying to induce that

Flats, to see "if I can hit a flop"

flop 2d Js  6c

Psaras 9,400

Trigg flats

turn  Aspades

Psaras flats

Trigg shoves

Psaras calls all in and is met by a surprise

Trigg has  Qs 2s

river  8s busts Psaras and sends Trigg over 300,000

Andrew Psaras 3,4000 from 5,500 in late position with  Ac 9c

Rick Trigg 7,500 on the button

Andrew wants to shove, but feels that Trigg is trying to induce that

Flats, to see "if I can hit a flop"

flop 2d Js  6c

Psaras 9,400

Trigg flats

turn  Aspades

Psaras flats

Trigg shoves

Psaras calls all in and is met by a surprise

Trigg has  Qs 2s

river  8s busts Psaras and sends Trigg over 300,000

Gutted, Trig is running like a God and playing mercilessly.

Really enjoy these GUKPTs.

Chris Retallick 4,200 on the button

Skalie 10,300 in the small blind

Retallick all in 40,000

Skalie passes

These two are on a humdinger of a table

In order

Kimber-Grafton-Trigg-Retallick-Skalie-LeKnace-Morris-Rawson-Spittles

The two shortstacks Rawson and Spittles have no room for manoeuvre and the aggression is tremendous

It might be the feature on the stream I think

Elsewhere Rutter has had the most passive table, but now joined by Thew with position on him

On the third table Vasnunes dominates  a series of below average stacks

Plenty of play here I reckon til we reach the final

Average is 40xbb

Most of the aggressive players Skalie/Trigg/Grafton on the one table

The other table reasonably passive, contains most of the shorties, and a lot will wait til they have to push. These guys such as Sheppard, Liuzzi for example

Stuart Rutter is the short-stack of 15 and just visibly winced in frustration when blind on blind against Liuzzi he flopped a massive draw with  Kh Jh and had to give up when he missed the river...didn't have the chips to commit to all three barrels

Excellent updates Tighty, sterling work, esp on these loooong double day ones. Pretty frustrated, don't think I made a mistake in this comp and won some ridic pots when I had no right to, esp on day one. Pleasure to meet Bobalike and play a long time with him and OMGCarlo, reading him his twitter in between hands.

Never played with Sam before, seems a lovely lad and a really good player, and Trigg ran ridic well but he don't half play good too. Have played with him live loads of times and he's never played well, but in this comp he has run over the tables and played perfect poker. Gutted for Skal tho, he played really good on that nightmare table with Trigg n Sammy in every hand.

Gl to Stu in his title defence, thewy and sam, but this is Trigg's tournament, hope he wins because he's been the best player in it. Which is lucky because his banter was terrible on our night out on weds
