Perhaps I did not make it clear - this is the hand and I had 2d 2s

PokerStars Game #68967889861: Tournament #451550836, $3.00+$0.30 USD Hold'em No Limit - Level VI (40/80) - 2011/10/14 20:28:22 CET [2011/10/14 14:28:22 ET]
Table '451550836 188' 6-max Seat #4 is the button
Seat 1: goodhand262 (2910 in chips)
Seat 2: gayn1 (13710 in chips)
Seat 3: DonkWanted (2600 in chips)
Seat 4: LadyGazza (3200 in chips)
Seat 5: SaagFrim (3390 in chips)
Seat 6: ropert01 (3255 in chips)
SaagFrim: posts small blind 40
ropert01: posts big blind 80
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to LadyGazza [2d 2s]
goodhand262: folds
gayn1: folds
DonkWanted: raises 80 to 160
LadyGazza: calls 160
SaagFrim: folds
ropert01: calls 80
*** FLOP *** [Kc Ks Kd]
ropert01: checks
DonkWanted: bets 240
LadyGazza: calls 240
ropert01: calls 240
*** TURN *** [Kc Ks Kd] [2c]
ropert01: checks
DonkWanted: checks
LadyGazza: bets 240
ropert01: calls 240
DonkWanted: folds
*** RIVER *** [Kc Ks Kd 2c] [Kh]
ropert01: bets 2615 and is all-in
LadyGazza: calls 2560 and is all-in
Uncalled bet (55) returned to ropert01
*** SHOW DOWN ***

Did I do right to call the all in and what hand would beat me?

I am only putting this up as ropert01 called me a few unpleasant names and said "I do not know the rules" and a donk. Perhaps he was right about rules but cannot understand why he was so rude to me!  On hindsight perhaps I should have bet higher or gone all in on the flop.

Is this a level? sorry if it isn't but it must be.........

2h 3s  beats you now, you have the worst hand possible right here - it is impossible for anyone to not have a better hand than you here

Turning a 2 doesn't help you hand at all, all it does is give you 1 out, you still have KKK22

you should fold the flop, not bet turn and fold the river, fold at any point you can post flop basically

Nellie, you are playing the board here, your hand is quad kings with a 2 kicker. You can't win this hand

When there's 4 of a kind on board, your high card plays. Doesn't matter whether it's 4 kings or 4 tens. If you have an ace in this situation, you have the nuts.

only 5 cards are used in NLHE

why did chad brown not get a penalty there?

Because he only had ace high. She could have had a full house.

If this hasnt been made clear in your head.

On the river, the board reads KKKK2 and we hold 22. If we replace either 1 or 2 of our cards to make the best possible hand, we still have KKKK2, therefore playing the board. Dont forget that our hand has to be 5 cards.

There is no other possible hand that the villain can have that doesnt beat us. There is only one 2 left if the deck. If he did by some chance have this 2, then he has to have another card to accompany it. Even if that card was a 3, giving him 23, he has KKKK3, which beats our hand.

At showdown, any hand with an ace in it is the nuts. Wether it be A3, AK or AA. They are all the same, because it gives you KKKKA.

On a side note, love the Kirsty Gazes hand. "Uhh, excuse me, we both have quads". Chad should have shoved the river. Defo would have called lol.

Lol 1300 posts on a poker forum. This must be a massive level.
This takes me back to the old days of Hold em where you turned over the nut flush then had to delay the game 10 minutes whilst it was explained to some idiot that it's not a split pot despite both players having a flush.

Never liked the use of the word Idiot.

I'm shit at plumbing but a proffessional plumber would never call me an idiot, he'd just acknoledge that I'm not very good at plumbing - as would I.

Guy Laliberite might be the biggest idiot of them all, porlly lost $20m+ playing poker but if he cant decide whether to get a blue or red farrari he'll just get both

You know I love you too Cos but I maintain that I never called op an idiot. Just assumed it was some sort of level or trick question.
I have consistently used the word idiot as in " you can't make an idiot fold" or " you can't bluff idiots" etc. Once again I have come across as a git which was not my intention.

Not only did we get the guys who thought two players who thought both flushes should split the pot but also that a str8 beats a flush etc.

Sorry once again to the op
