Not sure if you know but winnings don't get paid into your stars account.  Also the buyin is €4900 to spot rate would be 10%=€490

OMG! I'm so sorry, I just looked at the lobby of the comp, and it said 6820 euro, but when I looked it up the buy in is actually 4900 euro -

So

490 euro = 10%

245 euro = 5%

122.50  = 2.5%

61.25 = 1.25%

When they sent me the email, it says that all funds won on this event are paid into your stars account, because I won the package to this event.

Ok, so what if the rate changes? I don't want to screw anyone over here, that's why I said sending it in euros and giving it back in euros is easiest, if anyone can help a bit as I've never done one of these before, and I don't wanna take the biscuit.

That would introduce some unnecessary variance for dreenie.  Fairer would be to pay back winnings at the rate you get them.

Yeah - if you're buying a piece of someone in a poker tourney, I think you can stand a sweat on a 1% exchange rate gamble.

That's very kind George - If you guys could do that, that would really help me a lot - I really just want it through stars, as I will be sending it back there if I cash, and it makes my life a lot easier, so if you guys who want a % could send it george's bank by friday, then that would help me out a lot.

Knowing me I prob will get frustrated at times in the tourney, I just have to let it ride over my head, and take no notice, this chance seems too good to mess it up :-)

Unfortunately I don't speak Italian, My late Father wanted to move over there when I was 12 to study, but I refused, as my Mum was still here, my biggest regret tbh.

Just got knocked out.

Went down to 9k early on, by playing nervous/bad, then grinded it back up to about 33k - Wwas cruising, last before the break, I get QQ, raise up and get 3 bet, from a guy I had been tangling with a lot, I set him in, he has 10k behind, he calls with AK, Ace high flop, turn gives me a set, but makes him a straight, and I don't fill up.

Come back and have AQ vs A9, and lose, with it, I have Q10 in a multi way pot, comes Q95, 2 diamonds, I bet, guy flats, turn 9, I bet guy flats, river 8, I chk call he has AQ - was angry at myself for calling river on that one, as had put him on some sort of draw, which they both came on river.. so it could have saved me from the last bet.

Then had dinner...

After dinner, I raised up with KJ, Memet Mori 3 bet me, I folded, I raised up with AJ, another guy 3 bet me, I folded, I 3 bet a aggro raiser he set me in, I folded ---- Then I raised, with 99, guy on my left flats, the guy i had tangled with all day ships for 9975, and I have 14k, so I go all in, other guy gets out of the way, he obv has JJ, Comes 10, 4, 9 turn 8, river 7.

I'm left with 4k, I'm in the bb next round, mid postion aggro raises, I look at an ace, go all in, he calls, he has A9, I have A5, flop 2, 3, 8, turn 2, river King.

End of the road, felt every pot I was in I was getting done over in, or they just had slightly better everytime, was horrible tbh...
