No real info on the table as I had only recently joined it, did I get lucky with a dubious starting hand on the button or a hand worth seeing a flop with IP ?  Once I had hit, was the hand played ok ?

it ok imo. preflop is fine lots of people will say fold pre but w/e its a decent hand

post flop ok, raising the flop not an option readless imo calling and jamming a safe turn is good because the flop better if semi-bluffing (which will be OFTEN on this board) will bet blank cards again for sure, and even bet stuff we beat for value (AA** with hearts even tho thats not really "better" lol) and its a much less stressful way to play the hand and we're also potentially betting him off some weaker semi bluffs which will have decent equity vs us and denying people equity at any point in PLO is a huge win. Calling the turn and calling/folding specific rivers is possibly a > play theoretically but you certainly didn't play this hand badly imo

Thanks SuuPRlim, as you suggested a fair few said my hand should have been folded pre but for a standard raise pre it was def worth seeing a flop in position and seeing what the flop brings us.
