Mainly because housekeeping knocked on my door from 9am and at regular half hour intervals afterwards, and also due to the fact that the single bed was actual a child's single bed. I never realised how hard it was to get a good night's sleep with your feet dangling out the end of the bed.

UKIPT Champion of Champions is also on here today. Everyone who won a UKIPT last year has qualified for a seat in today's final, the prize is a full package for all the UKIPT events next year. Deano1980 (Blonde member) is here updating for Stars, inbetween moving flats this weekend and has to catch the 9pm train back to London. GG.

Day 1b starts at 2pm today, DTD need 220 runners at least. Ninety entered at the moment and late reg until 6.30pm.

Initial seating plan had 27.2 with a name like that.

Steve Holden on 7.5K, Julian next to him on 19K but he says he just gifted 5k of it to Sean Randall on his right.

Julian says he will either get it back or give him the lot.

Colin Young is on 22k, first game in nearly four months since his heart attack. He thanks everyone for well wishes and says he is feeling much better. having most of Steve's chips is also helping his recovery.

John Sadler raised preflop and found himself 4 callers. The board came Kc-5c-4c, and after bet after bet Michael Atkin got it in ahead with Jc10c but far from safe, as Sadler had AA, with the Ace of clubs. Instead of the flush came, it ran out A on turn, 4 on river giving Sadler a boat, with the flush no good. Sadler now up to about 75k.

Matthew Perry is now out of the tournament. He shipped his 19k stack in UTG+1 with AJ, and was called by the KK of Roger Lu. Perry said "I'm 98% favourite here" then the flop came Ace high, he said "see". At this point he wasn't far off being a 98% favourite, until the King peeled off on the turn.

Remember that sick hand yesterday where Umar Khan went out with JJ on a low board, to Grant Wheelhouse holding a pair and a flush draw with K7, only to hit a King on the river and take out Khan and another player?

Well Khan re entered today and is on about 60K and has issued a challenge to Wheelhouse  saying he's coming to get him.

Just told Khan Wheelhouse finished on 73K yesterday and Khan says he will smash that. Let's hope they're drawn on the same table tomorrow.

Just two levels left to play, meaning we will get an early 11pm finish. We are down to 66 players as we expect to get down to 40 players. Average stack is 47k, making it just below 30 big blinds. Recent exits include Thomas Gill, Daniel Edler and John Sadler.

After being silent for all of 30 minutes, Will Kassouf has perked up again and making plenty of speech play. It's still Luke getting the best of him, as Luke has called the clock on him again. Hallinan just eliminated a player with KK, as Kassouf folds and shows A10.

Luke has just 3 bet a player in the cut off, Will flats the 3 bet. Nick Mclennalen then made it 21K to go from the SB. Folds round to Will who is tanking.
