a) Barry Neville raises to 550 and is called in 4 spots

b) Barry Neville raises to 550 and is called in 5 spots

Pick version a or b, the story changed when I was told the second time

Flop J-10-6

Neville a lovely lead of 2,100 with J-J

Chris Sly flats with A-A

Lu Xu 7,100 with 10-6

Neville ALL-IN (baby)

Sly is therefore given the opportunity to get away, and does

Xu calls and departs

Neville 60,000

Faramarz Mirfakhrai kimps UTG and calls a Schwarz raise

Schward down to about 15,000 pre-hand

flop  4d 3d 2h

Mirfakhrai check calls a half pot bet

turn  5d

Mirfakhrai shoves, for an amount just less than Schwarz's stack

Schwarz contemplates, calls all in with  Ahrt Td

Mirfakhrai shows  7c 5c

river  4c

Mirfakhrai pumps his fist, points to his  5c and smirks

At this point the table tells him Schwarz has a straight

Mirfakhrai peers over his pince-nez, and arches a flummoxed eyebrow

Schwarz, with the dealer about to slide the chips to him, tosses his cards in an arc towards the dealer. They land face down in the muck

Friend of Mirfakhrai in seat 1 tells the dealer that Schwarz's hand should be mucked

Schwarz begins to bristle. Mirfakhrai leans back, eyebrow down

Dealer doesn't listen to seat one, Schwarz wins the chips and is back over his starting stack

92,000 chips from the combined stacks all in on the flop to send Sly towards the chip lead

Stephen Rawle the shortest stack at the table makes it 2,000

Andrew Wan 5 bets to 10,000

Wilsdon folds

Rawle all in 20,000

Latif folds...Queens

Wan calls with Kings

Mike Dao is out, he got it in with KK on a 10-7-J-9 board against the 10-7 of Scott Eustace.

Mike Dao raises and Scott Eustace, the ex footballer who won this in 2011, calls in the small blind

flop 7-9-10

Eustace bets, and Dao calls leaving himself a single 5,000 chip behind

Eustace thinks Dao is all in and flips 10-7

floor is called, and The turn is seen

turn J

Eustace puts the 5,000 in and Dao calls all in with K-K

Slightly odd, as he could fold and leave himself 11x bb?

Anyway, the turn is a 6, and Eustace knocks out Dao

Hopkin about 40,000

Jakally just under starting stack

Reggie Perrin has recovered from 12,000 to over 50,000

Linton still 50,000

Matt Russell is a late entrant sharing a table with Chili up amongst the cash games. Will catch up with those stacks when the table breaks soon

Keith Johnson a late entrant, about 32,000

Bookiebasher 45-50,000

Tom High under 30,000

Ali Mallu over 60,000

Keys looks to have lost the majority of his stack

Eames "had the worst day for a long time", the coup de grace......a limper, he 4.5x it with A-10 on the button, calls...flop A-8-5. He is check called, and his shove is called ona  brick river. the limper had 8-5

6k in the middle, flop -  Qc Js 5d
Kevin Spencer made it 3,375, Nadim Sarwar flatted, James Woodruff made it 11,000. Spencer folded, Sarwar shoved for 31,000. Woodruff took long enough to get an exact count, wanting chips in the middle to make sure of the count, counted some more, then eventually called.
Woodruff -  5h 5s
Sarwar -  Ahrt Qh
Turn -  Ts, River -  Qd, Woodruff took down a huge pot worth 72,000, meaning he is now just short of the 100k mark.

Cardigan raises, King calls in the big blind

Cardigan calls with King King but King (the person, not the card) has 7-7 for the rivered gutshot straight

Rupinder Bedi over 50,000

He raised with 10-10

His opponent did not see the raise, annonced "raise" and was held to at least min-raise which he did

Only spotted the damage after the cards had been dealt, but I'm presuming it went in on the  Qs 6h 4s board, Mallu  6d 6c, Mah  Kh Qd.
Mallu up to what I make as something in the region of 140,000, Mah down to something in the region of 5,000.

"I just have to get up and leave the table when Keith calls, He does love a peel with anything"

Giblin blows goats

Hopkin out.
Lost half his stack with 1 pair against my flush, then was unlucky getting the rest in preflop with 6 hi against my pocket 9's.

Seat 3 limps and George Bedi make it 3,600

Keith Interesting calls in the big blind and seat 3 limp-calls

of themJames Keys has just joined the table, to the immediate left of Keith and strides across to whisper to me

"I just have to get up and leave the table when Keith calls, He does love a peel with anything"

The three of them see a  Ac Qh 6h flop

checked to Bedi who bets 5,000

Interesting folds, seat 3 calls

turn  Kh check check

river  7d

check, Bedi 15,000 with 25,000 behind. He is dwell called and Bedi flips  Jc Th for the turned straight to win another nice pot

What a soft table!

Daniel Edler is now out, after having what seemed to be a horrible day, this hand topping it off.
He got it in pre with  Ac Kc, James Keyes had  Ts Jc
Flop -  Kh 9d 6h
Turn -  4s
River -  Qd
A typical river for Edler, summing up his day.

Barry Neville is up to about 120,000, I haven't worked here for long, but this is the happiest I've ever seen him enjoying his poker, sat on what is described as a "beautiful" table.

A bizarre hand at table 14.
Shortstack shoves for about 4k, Andy Bacon makes it 11,000. Chattaway reraises to 28,000, Bacon calls quickly
Flop -  Qd Ad 8s
Bacon puts Chattaway all in for his remaining 30k, Chattaway makes a quick enough call
Bacon -  Ac 5c
Chattaway -  Aspades  Ahrt
Short stack with Q3, Chattaway turns the boat. Bacon still in.

Barry Neville wasn't wrong.

A player on his table just checked down a full house

His reasoning?

"I was scared of the flush"

See you all tomorrow

Pete Haslam raises UTG

The small blind calls

Sean Belton shoves in the bb for a much reduced stack of about 45,000

Haslam 4 bets, enough to set the sb in should he choose to participate further in the hand

Instead the sb folds 8-8

Belton A-K versus Haslam J-J

5-3-7-6-5 and Haslam knocks out Belton

No Jack for Johnson, Bedi moves to a little over 80,000.

He just check raised all in over Skipper's 9,000 flop bet on J-2-3 and saw that rarity, a Skipper pass

Jakally over 50,000

Average 76,000 with 59 of 150 left todayand just over a level to play

Barry Neville made it 7,000 UTG. Folded round to the bb of Stacy Coore, he shoved for about 45,000, Neville called.
Neville - Td Th
Coore -  9c 9d
First card out is a 9, Coore up to about 100k, Neville still strong on about 100k also.

New chip leader, I think

David Montague all in pre-flop with K-K against the A-A of a local satellite qualifier

160,000 pot

Montague flops Quads to knock the local out and go comfortably over 250,000

Plenty of banter between Daniel Adam and Barry Neville
Adam makes it 5,500

folds to Barry, Adam says "oh was that all in? he said all in?"
Neville "I didn't say a word mate"
Adam "Lets go, all in come on lets go lets go"
Neville "All in"

Adam snaps him off quicker than the speed of light

Adam "I talked him into it, look I talked you into it"

Neville -  Js 7c

Adam "See, talked him into it, look at that"
Adam shows how he made the trap with.....  Kd Td

King high holds, Adam doubles to 100k, Neville on about 30k.
