OK, the Grand Prix is guaranteed at 2000 runners, and out of all the players that get through to DAY TWO, you get one horse for £10 up to a maximum of 5 horses for £50, drawn RANDOMLY  after completion of all day ones. So the draw happens between Friday 20th after the final Day 1 and Saturday 21st when Day two commences.

The prize structure will depend on how many entries we get and will be similar to that of a poker tournament.

HOWEVER, if somebodies horse WINS the event, they ship all the beans (this may change if for example 90% of the entries are taken).

I reckon they'll be at least 200 through to day two, so we'll cap the entries at 200 just in case we oversell. If only 180 get through, then we can rejig it somehow.

There may well be a few holes that I haven't thought of, and the format may require tweaking but we've got a week so no problem.

So post itt how many horses you want, and you'll need to ship the £ before Friday for your entry to be valid. Bank Transfer (via pm) or cash to me at DTD over the week please. Or Stars if really necessary but would rather not cos of xrate hassle.

Example post - "3 horses please, £30 cash at DTD tonight"

It'll be a last longer thing. So say we sell 100 horses, prize pool 1k. It'll be 500/250/150/100 for the 4 horses that last the longest for example.

Tom has a written a pretty sexy program on excel to do the draw on. Everyone that makes it through is on there with their respective chip counts, and assigned a random number =rand() ftw. Not sure how he's done it cos it's pretty difficult to do because the random numbers keep re-randomising themselves but he's found a way round it and now he just clicks a "Go" button and each of us get assigned our own horses, and it tells you their chip counts, and the average chip count of all your horses, it's very clever.

Estimate the draw will be either early hours of Saturday morning (most likely 5am) or midday Saturday. Tom isn't usually up then though. Don't think it's worth teamviewering since it's not a "out of the hat" type draw, it's just clicking a button and it's all done, but if people want to watch to authenticate it then that's fine, lmk itt.

All paid except for (sorry for name and shaming but it's getting toward the deadline) Evil Pie, LionRampant, Raman, LB444 and Killerkillsby. Money needs to be received by 4am Saturday morning!

In the event of a final table chop, whether it's a chip count chop or money chop, we'll assumed they've played it out and the horse with the largest payout has "lasted the longest". If two horses have the same chips/agree to take 10k each for example, then it's a tie and the prize pool is split evenly.

Remember if somebodies horse wins it/takes the lions share of the deal, they get the ENTIRE prize pool!

Leethefish's chip count is off by a couple of thousand too. Both are from day1a, is that the one you did before i taught u how to copy and paste? so maybe mistakes in that day...?

True story, apparently everyone has been given the chipcount of the person 1 place down from where they should be. FML. It doesn't really effect things though, the names are all correct, they will just have 1 or 2k more than listed.

So Todd is a pretty massive favourite, Danny Ball has two, and 18 other individuals and their respective singleton horses all in with a shout!

Bedi has the chip leader, but he's been known to blow a stack before. I'm sure he's hoping his horse does not follow in his footsteps.

Tom Hall is the only other person with a >1m stack, JK with a 950k horsie though - both in with a good shout.

I'll be commentating on the live stream for the final table, with a VERY ENTERTAINING AND SPECIAL GUEST. Tune in for the rail, it'll be hilarious guaranteed. Me and this man have totally different ideas about poker, but get on really well and I'm sure will work well together. Hopefully there'll be 4/5 horsies still in at that stage and we can get a good sweat!

So glad I have a horse still in, since I had 4x sub 60k stacks.. out of the 5, easily 2nd worst draw.. I had 1x top 100 (someone had 5 picks all 200+ = ouch)

But glad no one has David L'honore, he's a tourny ledge and an online wiz with the most ridic online stable.  His horsemaster just won the PCA for x.x milli $'s.. WAL.  And with a CL he will be a menace i hope.  Shame I didnt' get a piece.


Although the Newc' Todd has the 'most' horses, Kurt might actually have the best one.  Alex Marsden is probably one of the best players left in the tournament, and for all our sakes we have to pray he doesn't double.  With a decent stack he will be a nightmare to beat.

My horse Kelvin Mullis is a legend tbf. His Hendon Mob isn't all that but in truth, he's pure gold online, and has earned nearly £3 million online this year alone. He plays the highest stakes cash so I think if gets a little deeper with an early double then he'll be pretty much unplayable here. He's so used to playing 300 BBs deep it's not even fair on the others.

Yeh its 1200 for JK and 500 for scotty. Both kindly agreed 10% to the update fund, so that's great.

Glad everyone enjoyed it, I'd be up for doing again, probably. Its a fair amount of organisational work tbh, keep track of all the money, checking my bank, sending pms etc. Then going through all the lists matching up players to horses etc. But I'll probably do something for the deepstack.

Totally agree with Todd. Normally wouldnt care who won it with like 20 left. Happened to be down at DTD and was sweating the final like it was a mate on there. Really enjoyed it.

Maybe I should mind my own business, but it seems to me to be much more fun on the Grand Prix where most of the horses are a) going to be complete unknowns and b) highly likely to be massive donkeys.. Is it really going to be as much fun when people draw out Linton, Nick Hicks etc.?
