Hi there.

First time asking for staking ever over a forum and i normally hate to give anything away of myself because of my ego but tonight seems too good a shot not to go for.

Basically if you are not already aware i do a bog standard blog called 'Diary of an MTT Grinder Wannabe' on the Rail section and i specialise in turbo tournaments only. Made the transition only recently and have seen a lovely amount of profit particularly in the 109f turbos on stars, one of which i have taken down today.

My sharkscope for all the major sites are in the attached picture, note that the currency is in £ and that if i was to have been concentrating on the quicker tournies earlier i would be up a lot more.

The offer then. The tournament starts at 17.00 GMT and is a $2100 buy in. I would like 25% of myself at $525 and i want to sell the 75% at $1475. No mark up at all. If i cash i get my 25% and you get your investment at 1:1.

I will probably be asleep by midday today to wake up at 15.30, and that only leaves an hour really to get this all ready and money transferred, if you are not online and can't get the money to me from around 15.30, to the start of the tourn the stake is not valid. I am going to collate all those interested before before i ask for money to be transferred in case i don't get the full backing. At a push i might take 35% of myself.

5% increments at $105 a pop. If you know anyone that would be interested please give them a shout, and if anyone wants to come in for the whole 75% you are more than welcome. Not holding my breath with all this as it is so short notice but hope you guys fancy it.

Only have Royal Flush grimming me for 50 dollars at the moment. Has nothing to do with the 1000 dollars daily transfer limit set by pokerstars.  :D

You are saying that if you ship $300k and grim everyone that Cos will give Dubai $75k and Flushy $150k?

I'm not 100% certain of Cos' financial situation but I don't think he's capable of funding this security.

You might want to double check with Cos before you offer this free service on his behalf.

Cheers again for the backing, would have been nice to have got a stack in it and try to exert some pressure. Deffo a lot of pre fop stealing to be had in these types of tourns, when a lot of people tighten up for the push/fold. Just needed that 35bbs stack to start really going for it.

Yeah tbf to Ant, i think he has just a badly timed and misjudged joke.

First of all, I've known Ant for years and I'm just sure he was trying to fit in with forum lingo/banter with what he said about putting one in their eye etc but most of that banter goes on between guys who know each other. He is one of the most polite and nice guys in poker - I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have written it meaning to piss off Flushy, Dubai or anyone else. Just a silly thing to say and he is a big oaf too. I call him 'DJ Talent' for a reason if anyone knows who that is.

I couldn't secure your buyin for a $2100 event, let alone your winnings! rofl, you are such a clown.

Also, you have to be really careful when wording something like this. I would always be happy to vouch for your character and that you are a good, trustworth guy etc but there's probably 4 people I'd make a winnings vouch for and unfortunately my dad, mum, sister and nan don't even know what  TCOOP is. Likewise, anyone who mentions something like this should always be sure to ask the person's name they are using as a vouch and preferably get them to post ITT.

Hope there was no harm done as I know there was none intended but Ant doesn't deserve a bashing from everyone so pls lay off.

Haven't been so blundering ever before on this site in a short spell and have had a look at it all back this morning in horror. I tried to be innocently jovial with everything that was said but my radar was completely off.

I apologise to Greekstein, Flushy and Dubai. To Greekstein as it was a complete mistake to suggest he could secure the payments, that was a slip, literally only meant for him to be a character reference, even then i should ask for his permission first. Then to try and correct myself by saying he could direct you to where i live again just shows a comedy of errors. To both Flushy and Dubai as well because for them to both back me very quickly is unbelievable, and for that sum of money, means i must currently be doing something right and then to disrespect their faith is just woeful by me. I am massively thankful for them to back me into a tournament buy in i won't see again for a long while or maybe never.

Sorry for the rest of you as well to have to witness that.

Ah well, no harm done really.  Dubai seemed to be grand yesterday and Flushy probably will be too.  We've all had dodgy radar at some point or other so don't sweat it.
