This link for the Devilfish Live Stream at 1pm

http://www.dusktilldawnpokerclub.com/live.php

What's the story with having to have an account to watch the stream? I am trying to set up as a new user on the instant play option but when I click the "New User" button nothing happens.

I can't use the download option as I am trying to watch on a Mac.

I don't particularly mind setting up an account but surely the idea of the stream is to promote the club and entice people to play there live or online. Putting a barrier in place is just going to turn people off before they get a taste for the place.

Ali Mallu already in action and  i get to the table to see a board of

 5s 4c  3s 7s Ad

Ali leads out 3k into a 12k pot (yes wish i had been there at the start) and is gracious enough to show  3d 4d when his opponent folds.

one for all Paul  Romain followers.

flop   Ad Qc Js

all the chips fly into th middle. his opponent has flopped a pretty 2 pair with  Qd Jh and your hero has Kd Tc.

2 bricks later and Paul is probable chip leader having more than double starting stack

Red Dog has been waiting to catch his villan who has been seriously aggro.

Tom looks down at  Ahrt Ac and makes your standard raise to 350 at 75/150 (this used to be 3 or 4 X but we now know better).

Villan continues in aggro mode and 3 bets to 1k.

Tom announces that he would like to re re raise to 2.5k which our villan now suspitious and electss to flat.

flop 3h 4h 5c

Tom leads out for 4k and the villan shoves. Tom makes the call having put his opponent on an over pair.

Villan flips over  4d 5s to knock Tom down to 8k.

Wadey is in the mood and got his game face on.

opens utg and picks up 2 callers.

he leads out  Qc Qd  4h and the 2 opponents both know Wadey and wont be shook off.

looks like he has given up and checks the  7s turn to be faced with a bet of 500.  he calls and gives me a wink.

He then check calls a 2.5k pot bet  2c river.

good call tap tap from his opponent as Wadey proudly flips over  3h Ahrt

"i just knew jay, i just knew jay" he shouts as i walk away trying not to laugh out loud

Half way through level 3 we have 322 entries and news from over in Birmingham is that half the field are trying to bust out to get over here and have their shot at £250k. Was there ever any doubt that this competition would not get the numbers.

sorry for making you sweat for the sweats mate.
tom has 32k and tim is moving along on 39k but says negotiations will need to recommence if he needs to fire another bullet. (not much chance of that as we both know)

Thankfully the Devilfish is doing a wonderful job and we are down to 4 players on the feature table.
Then Tighty can come and upload some pictures and we can start the up date for real.

Does this help Jason:

YOUR FIRST DIGITAL CAMERA

1. READ YOUR CAMERA MANUAL before taking any photographs.

2. Check your batteries. Make sure to either recharge or replace them if you haven’t used your camera as yet or for an extended period.

3. Insert your storage media card in the appropriate slot. If you forget to insert your media card, you’ll get a "No Card" message.

4. Remove the lens cap.

5. Turn the camera on by either an on-off switch or a sliding lens cover.

6. Turn off the LCD. (See your camera manual for instructions)

7. Make sure your camera is set for automatic mode. Set the image quality to the size image desired (high quality) or less (to take more pictures on the same card).

8. Bring the camera up to your eye and look through the viewfinder. Positioning the target mark in the center of the viewfinder on your subject will assure that it will be in focus.

9. Push the zoom lever toward W (wide angle) to shoot wide-angle shots or push it toward the T (telephoto) to zoom in.

10. Press the shutter button half way down gently and confirm that the green light next to the viewfinder is illuminated.

11. Press the shutter button all the way down. You’ll hear a beep when you take a picture. Wait until the green light stops flashing before taking another one. Remember, digital cameras have a slight delay that traditional cameras don’t since it takes a second to save the image to your camera’s storage media card. :blonde:

Paul Marrow seems to be having fun on his table and has doubled his  starting stack after an earlier blip when his flopped set of Kings lost out to an eventual rivered straight.

the break is about top starts so will get some early chip leaders and those guys you mentioned

Ended up stuck £350 mate.  Same again last night as well.  Yeah it was going at an ok speed until it filled up, could tell it annoyed you lol.

Honestly live poker is rigged to play out at max 3 hands an hour, pretty tilting.

Heard they all are in and playing at the same table btw due to being 30mins late and getting in on late reg

so frustrating Adam. you get there half way through a hand and think do people really want to know about a hand half way through. Then you hang around a few tables for a while and it goes raise fold fold fold fold fold fold fold.

got so much love for how hard Tighty works.

so stressed and all i can hear is Tikay shouting over "he's sacked" every ten minutes.

Once Tighty gets here i can relax, get the camera going and really start posting stuff that warrents an instant dismissal.  ;ifm;

Hi

The no deals policy is as follows:-

From 1st March 2012 deals will be allowed in our regular tournaments based on an ICM chip count only. Any player at the final table can suggest a deal and if required the red/black card system will be employed to ensure a fair outcome.

Any tournament where the prize pool is guaranteed by Dusk Till Dawn in excess of £50,000 and a satellite programme has been in place, either online or live, thereby contributing to the prize pool and enabling us to offer the substantial guarantees unique to Dusk till Dawn, there will be a No Deals policy and all events will be played to an outright winner. All final tables for these events will be streamed live on Dusk Till Dawn and we wish to ensure that the best viewing experience can be captured adding to the excitement of all tournaments.

Cheers

Nicola

get to the table as simon deadman is moving his his last 12k across the line into a 24k pot. the board reads  8c 2h Jh Ahrt 2d.
William Kassouf is faced with calling for half of his remaining stack and gives one of his 5 minute speeches starting with "he has  8h 9h blah blah blah" and finishing with blah blah blah he has  8h 9h". eventually  folds and Simon gets back above starting stack again

Back on board with the team, 3 reporters... living the dream!
Anyway to the action
Frank Flanagan makes it 700 pre, Deborah Worley Roberts makes it 2,125.
Adam Smith misclick min-raises after throwing a 500 instead of a 5,000 chip to 3,550.
Flanagan out the way, Roberts snap shoves for 25k.
Smith has about 28k, dwells for 5 seconds before making the call...
Smith -  4h 4d
Roberts -  Ac Td
Not the hands I had them pegged for....
Flop is 8 high, Smith doubles, Roberts out.

Julian Thew raises to 800 in the Hi-jack

Amir Masood 2,400 in the small blind

Thew 4 bets. I am afraid a distraction or two stopped me writing down the amounts (it is completely mad in here, heaving at the seams), sorry

Masood 5 bets

Thew six bet shoves

Masood calls off, with 9-9

Thew has, rather amazingly, Q-10

In fact he'll be delighted to see he is racing

5-K-A-K-4

Julian Thew is OUT

A few bits and bobs

- Never ever seen it busier in here. Just now two tables have become empty in the whole club! The club, having had to cancel the Super 50, is now putting on £50 SNGs with the winner getting a seat in the £500

- Tomorrow night's 8 handed final will see the blinds rolled back so the average stack is 50x bb at the start

- Devilfish will be commentating on the final

- The new deals policy is in place. No deals in any comp here with over a £50,000 prize pool.

- For sub £50,000 comps, ICM chip counts only, and a red/back card system in place if any player on the final requests it

Before Bust the Devilfish I wanted info on two of the players, to aid my commentary

I asked Nicola DTD to find the guys, get me some info

This is what she returned with

I discovered that the winner, David Harris, is a "Porn Broker"

Lets face it, there will be worse jobs....

I raise 4 limpers pre And get one caller.

Flop  9d Th 3h

He donks, i reraise smallish

Turn a 3 he leads, i flat.

River a brick, he checks, so i value bet 6k and he snaps! Sigh.

He has over 100 k now after just winning a straight v straight encounter

I am on 22k after a slow mini rebuild

table 13 with chilli maria we have callum mccuaig sat on 90k after back to back  Kd Kc first making a set against  Ahrt Aspades then stacking off  Ad Jd on a  Jc hi flop

table 12 with tikay, tom batterham wins a race with  Ad Ks  v Qh Qh then the next hand finds a call from a donater shoving  Ac Qc on an  Ad high flop and tom just happens to have Aspades Ahrt. mbn and now on 110k

Man in form David Lhonore opens mid position to 1k. Raghubinder Aujla 3 bets the button to 2750 and is suprised to see Rick Norfolk flat in the sb.
David clocks Aujla annoyed face  and 4 bets to 7k. Aujila folds and an insta 5 bet jam from Norfolk leaves 2 players sat with that annoyed look on their faces. as he re stacks his chips and is upto 50k

just to put the icing on the cake, his first card flips up, it's an Ace.

We decide that its going to be tough to 3bt him n play it oop as he could have ATC at all times. :D <3 ya dude.

And we lose 6k from our 33k stack vs his AA on QxxQx.... Wiiii!

really felt like he thought he had the best hand... - Live reads FTW!

Maria Demetriou up to 64,000

Raises with 9-9, called

9-K-5 flop

She is check called

On the turn she is check raised and she calls

She shoves her last 15,000 on the river, into a pot three times that and gets a (to her surprising) fold

Marc Foggin 3,500

Foggin all in for about 50,000 covering Fazali, who folds

Raises with K-10, big blind Larry Mayes calls

10-8-5 flop

Mayes check calls 6,000

10 turn

check check

5 river

Mayes leads for 6,000

Patel 16,000

Mayes shoves for 55,000

(with a 5, it transpires). Tens full calls, as you would

sent to find Tommy Binghams stack and get there to find him in a hand with the devilfish.

flop reads  7h 2s  8s.

tommy c/r  to 13225 (leaving 17k behind) after the fish leads for 6k.

dave moves all in saying that it stinks  of a draw and carries on telling Tommy that he now kno.ws its a draw.

Tommy makes the call with  Js Jc and dave turns over  Ahrt 8h

Tc 2c brings Tommy a nice pot and now has double  average 75k

tikay news

1 "Not going terribly well at DTD in the £500 thing.......am trying to talk myself out of a second bullet. Still have 15 bigs, but shove mode is engaged. I could re-enter with around 40 bigs, if need be.

Hopefully, common sense will prevail, and I'll go play some cash, or have an early night.

Sooooo tempting though. Daft, but tempting. My will of iron will save me, for sure."

2 "Problem solved, up to 27,000.

UTG opened to 2,100' flatter in mid pos, I jammed with  Kh Qh . Second caller snapped with  Ks 9s and I held.

Think I just saved £560.

Average is 38,500, blinds 400-800/100"

Mark Mcgill checks and Jack Allen bets 25k into a pot roughly the same amount.

After not a lot of thought to be honest Mcgill folds  9d 4d face up for the turned flush confident that Jack made a house on the river.

Jack up to 75k

Um, I think if they don't HIT the muck, they are still live.

There is really no need for the tone of your reply either. No suggestion at all that different rules apply to different players

That's absolutely not true. a) Nowhere is as consistant about rulings as DTD. b) That is always the ruling at DTD. It's different at Grosvenor.

Joobs & I saw what looked like a shooting star - hit Twitter to find out apparently half the country saw it and now don't know whether it was a comet, meteor or Charlie Adam's penalty finally coming out of orbit.

Either way, Joobs is now dancing in the street wearing a Union Jack sarong waving a "Welcome to Earth!" sign whilst frantically texting Will Smith.

Simon Trumper estimates this comp will finish tomorrow with blinds of 150,000-300,000. Never ever seen that at DTD

He didn't have the heart to tell me what time this would be.

and here comes the answer, Simon has a good track record with these predictions

Final table at 10.30pm, finish 3.20am

You have been prepared!

Ward has been strong all day. Last pass by 120,000

Michael Vassilou makes it 5,200. Rich Wilcox to 11,300.
Dean Czyz ships for 35,600.
Vassilou snap reships for 84k, Wilcox folds.
Czyz - 1010, Vassilou - QQ as Tim Wright tells us he folded JJ.
Queens hold, Czyz out in the last level of Day 1.

Last hand of the day - Jake Cody shoves for 7,600.
Folds to the big blind, already in for 3k, remember the antes in the pot and the small blind.
Big blind has over 150k. He stews, the table starts giggling, thinking he may fold.
Flips over 10 2 - a fold.
Table in hysterics, Cody makes it into Day 2.

While I wait for bag and tag, a big thank you to Herbie today.

He held the fort while I was otherwise detained for the first two hours, then volunteered to carry on for the rest of the day, and put in a big shift for the update.

Top man. Useless updater, but top man.

Much appreciated

Flushy ended up with 13,000

Cody ended with 13,600

The bet they had was that whoever had fewer at the end of the day pay's the other one's £560

Cody won by two antes and is freeroll shortstack ninja tomorrow

Flushy is in for a bag with 4x bb.

Just some context while the chip counts go up

19.2m chips in play

190 odd left, so average for the combined field is give or take 100,000

blinds begin tomorrow at 1500-3000

Play resumes at 12pm

I think the plan was to live stream on www.dtdpoker.com from 7pm. Possibly that will be put back as 7pm will be several hours before the final

I believe Simon Trumper and Devilfish will commentate (at least at the start) on the final

Fun day for me. Somewhat surprised the standard of play was not much different to the regular £50s in there :).

Got nothing, hit nothing for most of the day. Some creative moves to keep my stack reasonable, but never really got paid with anything, finally went out with JJ < KK. This was a couple of hands after a comedy non-double up when I got it in with 44 against A10. Board runs out 4 (yay)5,8. 7.... 6. Yes, thanks for that dealer. Sums up the day!

Nice finally saying hello IRL to TK and Tom as well.

Good luck to all blondes left in.

Someone box Devilfish off a few quid, he shouldnt be reduced to collecting appearance fees and commentary wages, the man is a legend of UK poker. These kids should look after him- imagine Scholes and Giggs not throwing a few quid upstairs to Sir Bobby when he hit a rough spot.

Super sigh day, played very well in terra bad spots.  Bring on next month

Jimmy Hunter, I am reliably informed, has a system

He expects those cards that have been community cards last time, to come next time...and plays his hand accordingly

He got a huge double up when he raised with A-J, called a three bet, called a K-10-x-x flop and turn because "Queens had been coming a lot" and rivered the Queen to bust top set

This from talking to his associates late last night.

I would love to see a book on barry neville vs. jimmy hunter pub scrap.

Sky BO could sell at $30 a ticket.

Interestingly enough they could be long lost brothers!

Despite the many failings of Barry the one thing that he is not is a complete cockend. <3 Nevillefish
