If you buy in online in the regular tab you will automatically be entered for the start time however if you let us know that you will be late, either email myself nicola@dusktilldawnpoker.com or message me on here we will ensure that you are entered as a late reg even though we have received your buy in online and your chips will only be put on the table when you arrive.

Alternatively we will open a late reg tab for every day 1 which will replace the regular tab when it drops out of the lobby (2 hours before start time) if players register in the late reg tab they will only be entered once they arrive at the club so will receive full chip stacks when they arrive. The only time the late reg tab will not be used is if we have reached the cap for the tournament, which we only expect for the final day 1 on Friday 27th April so for Friday 27th the first option will be the best to secure your seat.

Cheers Nicola

The Grand Prix VI will remain the same as the Grand Prix V in January, therefore all chip stacks will be carried over :)

Direct buy-in will be available from mid-late March. They will have plenty of time to buy in as it will be open to everyone at the same time, excluding satellite winners who already have priority but for direct buy-ins all will have access together :)

Hi David

Direct buy in is available now in the lobby, you just need to ensure that you buy in for the correct day 1a - 1f :)

Hi Guys

Direct buy in for the Grand Prix is now available in the lobby.

Go to the lobby search MULTI_TOURNEY>ALL>Sort by Tournament so DUSK is at the top> DUSK GP LIVE DAY 1A - 1F.

Please ensure that you buy in into the correct day 1, the lobby will close 2 hours before the start of the live event, so please note that there is a difference in start time, all details are in the tournament info box.

It is online buy in only however re-entries can be made over the cash desk with cash.

Any questions please give me a shout here or email nicola@dusktilldawnpoker.com

Cheers Nicola

Structure for this event, the £500s and the Grand Prix is top right of this link

"Festival Freezeout"

New festival structure looks brilliant especially the increased antes.

Should encourage much more play and keep the average stack much higher.

Well played.

Why no change in the normal comp structure though? Get those antes in at level 4.

weekly structures will be changing, just not had any comps on as been trying to focus on UKIPT, quite a few tweaks coming up in a number of areas, just need to get this little event out of way, we make £0.00000000000001 (actually, that's a lie, we lose money) on weeks where we have no major event, so we have to kinda focus on not doing our conkers on a £1m GTE. TBH, personally, I'd would actually like to shut Mon - Thu, less work for us and we could focus purely on major events and we would defo make more profit. We open these days for the locals as a service so sometimes sorting and planning these days have to take a back seat, we have moved from 5 days to 7 so our locals can play whatever night they choose, as the increase in weekend events has meant less lower priced comps. Dunno how I have got onto this subject.

What you upto for the ukipts? Surly someone is sponsoring you by now. As great an updater as you are, taking the piss out of everyone on your poker table is still the attribute I most admire :)

Unfortunately my ony skill at the poker table is putting everyone else on tilt. I'm sure the minute I actually learn to play poker they'll be queueing up.

As for UKIPT I booked a weekend away before checking dates, so tomorrow I head off to Venice with my daughter and my mum. Living the dream.

GL to you, been a while since you binked at DTD, must be due!

Sorry if you have answered this before. Can you use multipe golden chips for re entries or do they have to be used on a seperate day. Now I type this I seem to remember chatting to Rob about traveling players deserving to be allowed re entry because he did not want people going to the effort to support the club, get knocked out early by a bad beat then not being able to get back in.

Yes just to confirm for everyone, Golden Chips can be used to re-enter back into the same day 1 (until the end of late reg/re-entry period), but only ONCE per day. Re-entries can also be made into other day 1's and there is no limit on how many days you enter. The number of Golden Chips a player has won entitles them to that number of entries/re-entries WITH a Golden Chip, but any additional entries WILL NOT come with a Golden Chip.

The same re-entry rules apply to non Golden Chip qualifiers too, and re-entries can be made over the cash desk at the club for the £ equivelant of €60 but first entries must be made via a players online account or online satellites.

Any questions let me know as the re-entry rule is different to the Grand Prix V in January.

Cheers Nicola

Sunday day 1A has a 2pm start and will therefore finish at 11pm, however day 1B - 1F will start at 5pm and therefore those days will finish at 2am :)

how can they get done at 11pm there 12 levels of 30min so that 360min  so that takes it to 8pm so are there 3 hour off breaks just traid live help thay had no info at all and it starts in less than a week lol
There will be 15 levels played as we have changed it to a 30min clock, so 7.5 hours of poker and 1.5 hours for breaks.
Is there anything else you would like to know?

Hi there. R we really going to play 15 levels
on day1 ? Seems a lot . There will b not many people coming back
for day2 then. :-)

Seems all to be linked into the new structure - added levels means that level 15 is now 1200/2400/300 where I think before it would have been 2000/4000/400?

Would be a good idea for Simon or someone to come on and clarify though. The satellites have been running quite a while and the change has come pretty late.

If you get through your chosen day 1 and have Golden Chips unused, can these be cashed for their 60 euro value?
Yes they can be but only after the event has taken place.

Hi Guys

There are only 870 spaces remaining for the 2,000 runner Grand Prix. If you wish to play on either day 1A on Sunday 22nd April or day 1f on Friday 27th please make sure you buy in asap to secure your seat.

There are also only 52 Golden Chips remaining to make 1,000 Golden Chip winners, so grab yours this week, satellites are running until Saturday night.

Cheers Nicola

Hi All

Originally I was using 12 x 40 mins + breaks which is 9 hours and works with our old structure, the new one has extra levels so I am now doing 15 x 30 mins + breaks which still plays for 9 hours.

We will see what %age are left Sunday, I would like around 15%.

Cheers

I live 70 miles away too and can't get as often as I like. All your questions make you sound like an excited puppy bouncing around waiting to be taken for a walk. It's great to hear someone looking forward to a comp so much.  Do you have some golden chips to use?

3 golden chips and playing tomorrow and next Friday if need be. Quite a few going from hull on Tuesday so I may play that n have the craic with em. I just wish one or two of em would venture out of Naps in Hull more often and spread their wings instead of playing in there 7 nights a week. Fan "Frankie" Cao has the best record but the likes of Mark Lewis, Cam Law, Mike Brown, Carl and Kim are all capable and just need a run of cards holding up

3 for me en all, but can only now make the Friday so hope I run well.  Travelling up with a mate and booked to stay 2 nights (optimistic I know!).  Second outing to the Grand Prix and managed a money finish in Jan, hoping to run deeper this time.  Just need to control myself early on and adjust to the big tourney structure, oh yeah and avoid school boy errors!

If you need to re-enter unfortunately you will go to the back of the alternates list, however this will move quite quickly today, with 30 min levels plus Grand Prix players make quicker exits than other tourneys generally. Plus it will give you a little break to recover from your bad beat ;)

We managed to get in all alternates and re-entries so if you need to register as an alternate then please come down and register it's first come first served.

Hi All

Just finished Day 1a of the €100,000 Grand Prix.

We had a total of 534 entries, after 15 levels 88 remain with an average stack of 91,000.

There were 190 Golden Chips in play today, tomorrow i will let you know how many are left, should any go on to make the final they will win a £6000 package to the Carribean Poker Party.

Friday is looking like a sell out at 405 whereas tomorrow there are just 120 registered so far. All this week the day 1's will start at 5pm ending at 1.45am. You are allowed 1 re entry during the first 9 levels and today a third of the 400 players took this option.

Cheers ACES

Yea, that was me, nice to meet ya Brookie, even though you did stink of cheese and onion crips. Never seen a guy have so many premium hands in one comp. So glad you were sat to my direct left. fml.

Lol. My comp was flying playing great chipping up nicely managing to get off hands that would have meant an early bath for mere mortals. Folding queens pre knowing I was at least 3rd out of 4. Turns out I was equal 3rd as two of us had queens and the others had AA and KK.

Then I flop a set of tens on Q 10 3 board and the station check calls flop and  X turn and trap checks the  Aspades river. So obvious he got there  I tell him he should have bet with KJ and flipped my tens over. He won a decent pot but was pretty tilted by me. He lost all his stack to me an orbit later when he 4 bet jammed this flop  Aspades Js Jh with   5s 6s. Easiest call I will ever make holding Alister James  Ahrt Jd  .

I was on form and focused until the last level when losing a race in a triple average pot. Bit like the ukipt I am the aggressor in the pot and getting people calling off at best racing and a high %age in a world of pain to a bigger pair. Twice this week I am left regretting letting lesser players have the luxury of a 50/50 with me when I could have out played them post flop. But that's my bad so good luck to them and I will use another chip when the wife says I can :)

Nice to see milligan and meet Brookie. Only managed to upset one guy who tried a bluff that was never going to work then set about berating the lady for a bad call. He then tells everyone he hates £50 donkey comps ant much prefers playing the wpt and ept. I Hendon mob him and there is a lovely picture of him and his results which totalled 2 one being for $200 in the last grand prix in August and then £120 in a £40 comp in 2007. I got it up on my phone and passed it round and when it got to him he said "that means nothing, I' m mainly an online player and crush there" :)

I take a lot of stick for using hendonmob as my bible and obv play on it a bit,but it's quite fun saying to some old boy "did you not final the £50 PLO at the northern lights in Blackpool back in 2002". Then you get into a decent conversation about how the game used to be and get to hear some amazing stories. Shotz and strippers is great in moderation but don't want it ramming down my throat everytime I sit down. Much prefer degen stories of days gone by :)

Tony , did I ever tell you about Pokerstars paying for my wedding. That picture is from day 2 ( notice box empty and ring on finger. Played 1a with ring in box, got married 1b (4th of July, and stars must have spent a million $ on the fireworks for us on our wedding night) then returned to play day 2a a few days later.

Lucy bust her first shot  in level 1 - called pre with AJ, flop AJx, they get it in and raiser has KK... K on river

Second bullet wasn't quite so brutal.

I was very very quiet all day and got a couple of double ups late on to bag up 89000 - see you Saturday

Hi All

Day 1b of the Grand Prix had 223 players and 78 re entries for a total of 301 to add to the 534 from Day 1a so 40% of the 2000 required to hit the guarantee, good start!

Of the 190 golden chips Sunday 34 have made it through to day 2, there were 99 last night, awaiting the figure for day 2. Average stack at end of Day1b was a little higher at 100,000 compared to the 91,000 on Sunday.

Tuesday and Wednesday currently only have 70 - 80 players registered so plenty of seats if you want to play those days, we can seat 405 on Friday, there are 150 seats left but these will go as previous Day 1 players re enter.

On target for 2100 - 2300. May only be 150 - 180 total tonight so best chance to make it through to day 2.

Cheers ACES

Your first entry of the Grand Prix must be made via your online account (or satellite win) and then all re-entries can be made at cash desk for £50 back into any day 1.

You have until 10.30pm every night this week to re-enter back into the same day 1 (but only once per day)

Hi All

‎300 of the 405 cap are sold for Friday so if you dont want to be an alternate buy in over the next 2 days.

Last night was the quietest day so far with only 195 entries including 53 re entries, 25 made it through to day 2 to add to the 133 already there.

There are 100 registered for tonight so i am expecting 150 - 200 + re entries. Average stack last night was 110,000.

Cheers ACES

Would an above average stack limp into the money?

This seems to imply a CAP at 2000. That's not the case is it? Just 2000 needed for the guarantee...?

Depending on the number of players making it through to day 2 we may have to cap the event, we can only take through a certain number as there is a cap for day 2. You're right it won't be capped at 2,000 but we may not be able to take many more than 2,000 so wanted to stress how close we are to selling out. In January we had to turn players away so want to pre-warn players how close we are. Giving players an exact figure is more effective than saying limited seats.

With €99,000 currently in the prize pool there are only 55 seats available for direct buy in for tomorrow's Grand Prix day 1F.

If you wish to play tomorrow please buy in ASAP to secure your seat from the start.

We will be taking alternates and re-entries for the first 9 levels until 10.30pm.

Hi All

Quick Grand Prix update

Day 1d ended up with 281 entries and of the 96 Golden Chips 11 made it through so now 65 in total through to day 2, today we had the second highes entry of 347 including 86 Golden Chips.

There are just 60 seats left for Friday, once sold we will be sitting alternates / late registrations throughout the first 9 levels and expect the highest re entry %age as many will be travelling players willing to fire two bullets to make day 2, the €100,000 guarantee will definitely be exceeded.

Cheers ACES

"We have just checked the figures and when i announce shuffle up and deal tomorrow we will already have hit the €100,000 guarantee, this of course means every single alternate, late reg and re entry will add to the payout! I expect to get at least 50 - 100 new players and up to 200 re entries, this could add a further €10,000 to €15,000,

Join the fun and get in before the 10.30pm cut off, who knows it could be your event to win and what a return the winner will get."

Tip for the win : Jamie Hodson  - quarter of a mill in chips.      Local (to me) young club player that rarely plays  casino tourneys.

shame there is no betting on this :(

The last thoughts that I heard was its looking like a full day so 450 is people but I wold say 350-400 is a sound number also I think there's a later comp as well. Thinking cash will kick off at around 3 and be up to full steam at around 4

It's been about 20% of the field each day 1, I believe. Took a while for one to start last night - didn't hear a call out until around 7pm, although wasn't particularly listening out for them, so may have happened earlier.

Made it through to Day 2 last night with 60,800 chips which was some way below the average

Question I have - In the January GP, the blinds were rolled back at the start of Day 2. Is that likely to happen again this time?

(apologies if this has already been asked somewhere else)

Thanks
Dave

With the new blinds it's not looking like it will happen but you never know

Someone was asking yesterday.  The blinds will stay the same (day2 starts at 1,500/3000) but the clock will go from 30 minutes to 40 minutes!

Just curious - do DTD have tourney chips higher than 25000? I know Stars had 100k for the UKIPT, but I've never seen any DTD ones that size (shows where I've finished in big comps maybe).

With >30m chips in play, that's 1200x25k chips, so 60 stacks of 20, plus smaller ones if still in play. Could get a bit messy heads up :).

Just wondering, fully expecting not to actually need to worry about this personally, obv...

What a great evening. Was about to bag up for 160k. Last hand. Cutoff opens to 10k. I raise to 26k with  Kh Ks on the button, and the small blind who said he was up for a spin up shoves for 80k. Folds round to me. I obviously call and he flips over aces which hold. Horrific cooler to end the day. 80k tomorrow. 20 bb. Great day, great atmosphere.

Had an early night and feeling good about going through to day 2 with 174,100 from day1D(even after loosing a last hand of the night 98,000 pot holding JJ in the big blind to 8 5 off shove on the button and they rivered a straight). Cannot wait to get back on the tables.

Interesting how % people through during the week has changed - middling on 1a (16%), loose during the week (down to 12.8%). Friday was 113/460 = 25%. Big difference! By my calcs overall average is a smidge under 100k?

GL all blondes, unless we're sharing a table :).

Why would they?

Stacks and structure were pretty good IMHO, average stayed in the 30BB range for pretty much the duration I think.

No offence was intended Lee, but more chips and same structure, even starting at 50/100 would extend the length of the tourney by quite a bit and we played to level 35 as it was
