Definitely the Easter £150 Deepstack

I have asked to do a UKIPT live update. I think it could be a real corker to do. I have asked DTD to speak to Stars, see if expenses can be covered to do so etc etc. Hope so. If not www.pokerstarsblog.com  as usual.

With the deepstack being called of that month have been thinking of playing this, but still unable to find some relevant information.

- Starting stack?
- How long are blinds?
- How many days (think I might have seen this, but may have forgot)
- Prediction of pot? Someone said to me they may get £750k, but it is impossible.

Yes - the results of last Sunday's are still there but there's no tourney there for next week, even though there are seat-only sats in there for next Sunday - that's why I asked.

http://www.ukipt.com/tournaments/structure/

http://www.ukipt.com/tournaments/ also states £200,000 gtd but at 1,000 runners (probable) they'll obliterate that

It's capped at 1000 runners

The structure isn't posted on the UKIPT website, just tells you levels. It doesn't mention how long the levels are or perhaps how many runners they are expecting, pretty poor really.

Not to mention there is supposed to be a cap on number of players, but yet there was more than that cap last year....

Hi

I played the last event in Galway and its 1 hour levels £15k starting stack. Don't think you can buy back in.
They got 700 entered there and the cap was supposed to be 500 ! It wouldn't surprise me if they get 1200 as that was almost the number for last yrs at DTD. The higher buy in doesn't seem to of affected numbers.

The blind levels are on the ukipt site but it's a bit strange in that they started at 12 pm and played 8 levels on day 1 (thurs or fri) with no dinner break just 20 mins every 2 levels. We finished about 9pm! They then played Sat and Sun and had the final table on Monday ( which I got no where near !)

Cheers

Can Simon or someone from the club confirm whether it is two or three start days/flights? It's getting quite close now and start days not totally confirmed. Am reluctant to book travel yet in case things get shifted. Would also love to know sides but priority is how many start days in the main. Start of play would also be good so know whether come come down the night before.

Needs 1072 runners for a £750,000 prizepool. Seems like it will happen. Stars running millions of sats. Awesome!

Starting Days

At the moment there is only 2 starting days, Thursday and Friday. We are working closely with Pokerstars on the number of players that they are sending, last year they sent 350 and we got a field of 1058. Current forecasts are that they will be sending double that for this event.

What I can say, is that I am meeting with Pokerstars next week, and that I will do everything I can do to make sure that every single player that wants to play this UKIPT event will be able to. Please just leave this with me and trust me that I will do what I can. Pokerstars do not like to add extra days, flights or change their schedule, they have a fixed formula which works, but I will know more next week. What I need is for players to just "trust me" on this one and be a little patient. Last year's UKIPT was a brilliant event but it wasn't easy to turn people away when they rang reception and also having 1000+ players in the building at one time was a strain on our resources.

Cheers Rob

By not running your dtd deepstack weekend rob they will acknowledge this ? As it would dilute the number of players able to afford 2 big buyins in the same month and hopefully let everyone who wants to buy in do so ? Maybe run a day 1 c on the Friday at 5/6 pm start like the gukpt does

Cheers Rob, I appreciate the reply.

I played this two years ago and it was a cracking event, the kind that makes DTD stand out from other venues in the UK imo, best of luck with organising it!

Just seen the UKIPT ad on the Online site.

I can see the satellite tree on the webpage, but no sats on the site. Have they been loaded yet? (If not, when do they start - as the ad/site do not state)

TYVM

The satellites page is now up on the site  - http://www.dusktilldawnpokerclub.com/satellites/pokerstars-ukipt

with DTD website qualifying 3 people per day (at least) for a month thats another 100 runners on top of the stars sat's which have started much earlier than last year, and seem to be generating more runners, i can see this one smashing the 1k barrier which is going to lead to a huge prizepool! One not to be missed i imagine!

When will DTD be getting a EPT thats what i want to know! ;) (In our dreams)!

I'm sure this particular tournament has a 1000 runners, cap.. but saying that, even with the Cap you're looking at £700k in the prize pool meaning something like £200k to the winner....

Alex are DTD going to be holding single table flips for this tournament? (Ten people put £77 in the middle all get dealt two cards face up, then the flop, turn and river, the winner taking the lot)...

Adios ...

in terms of numbers, , stars will qualify 650-800, plus another 100-150 will buy-in through them, we will qualify 100 - 150 online and live, there will also be late reg and club cash desk buy-ins, I would be shocked if 1058 isnt beaten...1428 would make a £1m prizepool, im sure that level of prizepool would be of interest to the players, stars and us, so lets see what happens at the meeting next week....

Hey

Yes if you have already won a seat on Pokerstars we will refund you with the seat you win on DTD. You can of course transfer it to a friend or save it for another DTD event if you would rather? I will be emailing all winners so just reply to my email and explain that you have already won a seat :)

Hi Aaron

Sorry that you didnt receive a reply, to be honest details were possible not confirmed that early on, as they still aren't 100% as we speak. We have a final meeting with Pokerstars tomorrow to confirm details.

It is confrimed at 60minute blinds, 15,000 chips. It is a 4 day event, however the number of day 1's are yet to be confirmed. Currently:-

Day 1A - Thursday 12th April
Day 1B - Friday 13th April (unlucky for some ;))
Day 2 - Saturday 14th April

Hi Guys

Starting at 6pm we have our first Early Bird €20 Rebuy to win a £770 UKIPT seat! We put on these rebuys with requests from our players for earlier online satellites which allows them to get to the club in the evening, if they are sucessful and we aim to incorporate them into our regular satellite plans for Dusk Till Dawn tournaments.

Make sure you play, if you want them to stay ;)

Cheers Nicola

With the deepstack being called of that month have been thinking of playing this, but still unable to find some relevant information.

- Starting stack?
- How long are blinds?
- How many days (think I might have seen this, but may have forgot)
- Prediction of pot? Someone said to me they may get £750k, but it is impossible.

Day 3 - Sunday 15th April
UKIPT Final (Day 4) - Monday 16th April

We are expecting 1000+ entries so an estimated £700K+ prize pool.

If you have any more questions I promise to answer them for you :)

Cheers Nicola

Thanks Nicola.

With the cap being there and the fact that Rob has said there isn't a cap, can you confirm that there is a chance for anyone to play who wants to? Not to turn up and be told there is no seats left? Also with only 40+ tables and an expected 1000+ runners, how are you going to fit everyone in? DTD500 was at the max other week and there was something like 450 runners?

I expect this tournament to get around 1500 runners.

Rob will be confirming all details tomorrow with Pokerstars, and then we will be able to announce whether there is a cap etc. With all tournaments it is better to register before you get there to avoid disappointment, we expect this event to be busy and although we can open a reserve list, this can also fill up unexpectedly.

All details will be released on here and our site first so you'll be the first to hear.

Hi Guys

Last night 4 seats were generated for the UKIPT in April via our online satellites.

3 of the seats were won in our 9pm €50 Freezeout which is a great success for the first night and we hope to keep this up and qualify over 100 players in our online satellites alone.

We also ran our first Early Bird €20 Rebuy at 6pm which has 1 x £770 UKIPT seat guaranteed every day. This allows club players to play online before joining us at the club

Don't forget 10 seats up for grabs in our 150 MEGA SATS every night at 9pm.

Any questions, give me a shout!

Cheers Nicola

Breaking news

Simon Trumper

There is something happening so huge at the club that I'm even more excited about, as you all know the Poker Stars UKIPT is he...re again in April the first year the buy in was £500 and we held the tour record for biggest field at 650, last year we smashed this with an incredible 1058. This year the buy in has increased to 700 +70 but we are confident that the field will increase again, to enable us to provide the best experience for our players we are adding a 3rd day 1 on Wednesday 11th April and each day will be dealt 9 handed with a cap of 450 and late reg for 6 levels.... Ow and did I forget to mention we are guaranteeing the event at ONE MILLION POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just writing that has given me goose bumps lol... There will be a press release with full details for satellite qualification and direct buy in. Based on the figures known and projected so far there are only 700 seats available for the 3 day 1s, so don't miss out secure your seat in this incredible event!!!!

Hi guys, as I said last week on here, adding an extra day 1 was a little tricky as Stars have press/bloggers/radio and all sorts of other operations stuff such as hotels, travel etc etc which had all been pre arranged for Thursday, however, they have now agreed to add Day 1 Wednesday and will PR that to all of their players later on today.

In terms of the £1M GTE, I believe that this is not the first time the Venue rather than the Organiser has gaurenteed the prizepool for a poker tourney, apparently a casino in Madrid did this recently with one of the many tours in Europe at the moment, just cant remember the name.

The basic reasons for this decision;

1. To justify adding the extra Day 1 to Pokerstars and give it the best chance of the Wed Day 1 being successful
2. We cancelled our April £500 to focus on the UKIPT, which was not a hugely popular decision after we had such a successful one in March, so we wanted to do something special for our players
3. Hosting a £1M prizepool comp has been on our "DTD to do list" and what better opportunity that this on the back of the last £500 and with 600 ish players coming through Pokerstars, we just need to generate 850 :)
4. The gamble

No re-entry on UKIPT's. There are only 100 seats available for Friday Day 1a and 150 for Day 1b, (+ alternates for 6 levels), but 450 for Day 1a Wednesday . Pokerstars are having the rest of the seats for their qualifers, sponsored pros, FPP buy-ins etc etc, Stars will bring 500 - 650, anything less than 650 and we will make those seats available for general release, we will keep players informed, but I think Stars will bring 600, so max 50 extra might come available. So if you can only play Thursday or Friday, please buy-in through our shop ASAP http://www.dtdshop.com/ and if you bink a satelitte in next 4 weeks, we can just refund you. If you have money on PokerStars you can buy-in directly through their client Events-->Special.

Not finalised the live club sats yet, will do this shortly, really would like to see one of our club players make it to final, so we will do as many as possible at the club as I know some of our live reg's don't play online (eg. Ali bag of 'ollocks etc). In meantime, here are the online UKIPT sats running at the moment on Dusk Till dawn http://www.dusktilldawnpokerclub.com/satellites/pokerstars-ukipt, there are also loads of UKIPT satelittes running on PokerStars every day at different buy-ins.

Press release out later today from us and Stars, plus full weeks side events, opening times etc etc

Cheers Rob

PS. 450 a day ( 50 tables x 9) + 6 Levels of alternates (25-35 players) just about scrapes us to £1M, its not a miscalculation, we really didn't want to deal this comp 10 handed like last year, if that bites us in the xxxx then so be it...hate 10 handed

In terms of the £1M GTE, Pokerstars would like me to make it very clear that the £1M Prizepool is gaurenteed by Dusk Till Dawn - NOT the UKIPT or Pokerstars (ie. the Club pays any overlay), as the UKIPT would not want to set any presedents for larger than normal GTE's for their other stops on the UKIPT Tour and who can blame them! So its a one off Dusk Till Dawn risk at the club's cost should it go wrong. I believe that this is not the first time the Venue rather than the Organiser has gaurenteed the prizepool for a poker tourney, apparently a casino in Madrid did this recently with one of the many tours in Europe at the moment, just cant remember the name.

Brilliant Rob, this has convinced me & a couple of friends who probably wouldn't have bothered to travel down for it. I know there's a very good chance it would have got to a Million prize pool without the guarantee, but you should be commended for putting your neck out there and helping to build an even bigger buzz than there already was around this event.

What are people's recommendations for a hotel? I seen Britannia and Holiday Inn are close by, how close? Prefer to be able to walk to the casino, but bringing car so it's not a major issue.

(Steve I have deleted that inappropriate comment, ignore it please..Rich)

Wow was goner post some basics questions but not sure if I should now :(  I did read through the thread and hence came across the lovely post  above.  Some of us have never played an event of this magnitude and will need help with some basic questions, after all I guess you all want newbies like me to attend,  my highest ever live buy in to date is £30 .
So some basic questions, being positive that I am going to win :) I assume if I win through on day one Wed I wait until the day 2 on Saturday ect, so on  thu, fri, are there other side events?  Does DTD run any or are they be fully occupied with the main event.  This may obv dictate which day I travel up  from Kent on.  So in short I suppose I am asking what other things may be going on during the down time.
Also roughly what time would each day finish, and deffo some help on the event finish time because I have work on the Monday and would need to make arrangements for when  I FT the event :)
I have other questions will try to research them myself, but please don't put us dead money players off its already daunting enough.

Regards
Steve

Brilliant Rob, this has convinced me & a couple of friends who probably wouldn't have bothered to travel down for it. I know there's a very good chance it would have got to a Million prize pool without the guarantee, but you should be commended for putting your neck out there and helping to build an even bigger buzz than there already was around this event.

What are people's recommendations for a hotel? I seen Britannia and Holiday Inn are close by, how close? Prefer to be able to walk to the casino, but bringing car so it's not a major issue.
Thanks for your comments, glad you are able to come. Dusk Till Dawn always appreciate the support from our players, without them we would never be able to set these guarantees let alone make them.

The closest hotel is Travel Lodge Riverside which is located at Castle Marina and is walking distance, perhaps a good 20mins walk but it's one straight road onto the industrial estate. We also have a deal with a few hotels such as the Park Plaza so may be worth having a look here - http://www.dusktilldawnpokerclub.com/accommodation.php

One big tip is to book early as hotels sell out quick in Nottingham, if you need any assistance in finding a hotel let us know we are always happy to help.

Cheers Nicola

Echo all that^^

Try also Premier Inn Nottingham South, less than a 5 minute drive away and whilst basic, you can get £50-55 a night if you book early enough

Steve

Hi Steve,
Of course we will not put you off, infact one of our regular £15 players recently won a seat into our £500 Deepstack and ended up winning the event and he still doesn't know how...so beginners luck might just be with you.

You can choose to play from any of the 3 day 1's. Wednesday 11th, Thursday 12th or Friday 13th April all at 12noon and those remaining after the end of the levels played on day 1 will make it through to day 2 which will start at 12noon on Saturday 14th all chips will also be carried over. There is a day 3 on Sunday and a final day on Monday 16th which unfortunately we cannot guarantee what time that will finish.

In answer to you side events question, yes there will be side events running all week and I will attach the full schedule below so that you can see exactly what is happening, some side events may stretch over 2 days but this will be noted on the schedule.

if you have any other questions you can post them on here (others may be looking for the same answers) or feel free to Private message me or email me at nicola@dusktilldawnpoker.com with a long list of questions ;)

Cheers Nicola

On my Stars it says that I am registered to 2 tournaments - Day 1A April 11th (Although I registered for Day 1B) £770 and the a second tournament on the April 12th which is a Freeroll although that says Day 1A
Bit confused by it and will email Stars about it, just wondering if that is Normal
Also a few more questions re DTD and Hotels
Will there be ample parking there and best time to get there (normally play 25 runners at my local so don't have to worry about that)
Also does DTD accomodate for special diets
Are there any Apartment Hotels in the area
cheers

Hey
No you should only be registered for one start day, the dates have changed as we added an extra day 1 so what was day 1a (thursday 12th) is now 1b but it is definitely worth emailing stars and asking them why this has happened and they will sort it out for you.

There is a large car park at Dusk Till Dawn which will definitely fill up each day however there is a large cinema complex opposite and you can park in there as an overflow and at midday there will be no problem with parking. We open the doors at 10am so if you get there early enough you can grab a spot in the carpark.

In terms of specific dietary requirements I will need to check with the kitchen depending on how specific the requirement is. If you let me know in advance what your requirements are I can check with them before the event as I can imagine it will be a bit manic on the day. If you want you can private message me or email me nicola@dusktilldawnpoker.com.

I don't actually know of any apart hotels but can ask around for you. Does anyone on here know??

Any other questions feel free to give me a shout.

Cheers Nicola

Is there any way of guaranteeing entry for a late registration without losing any chips?

I definitely want to play but I can't get there 'til about 4pm. Can I buy in beforehand then have my chips kept out of play until I arrive?

What if there's a list of alternates when I get there? Will I just have to wait in line with them or would a prepaid get to queue jump?

Thanks.

There are tournament " holding tanks" for players who have qualified, bought in seat only or bought a package etc. Then there are separate holding tanks for the choice of each starting day (which will be shown as a freeroll). Therefore everyone who has entered or qualified via the stars client should have 2 tournaments that they are "registered" for, one to show the method of buy-in and other for choice of starting day.

Therefore you may be in list of qualifiers dated 11April and then have chosen day 1b which is 12 April. You will play 12 April.
Pretty simple really

What are the options about multiple seats.  Can we get cash or is transferring em the only option?

For direct buy in is there a 'most preferable' option.? Eg. Free stuff or better flex on payouts for prizes?
Think it will be easier to just pay via dtd shop but don't want to miss out on any peripheral benefits.

Unfortuanetly we no longer cash in dupliacte satellite seats, you can trasfer them to another event at the club or to another player.

Hey the dtd online shop or cash desk are the easiest options. No added benefits I'm afraid.

Surely the benefit of buying thro dtd is if u cash for over 2500(?) u get a chq from dtd rather than cash on stars account ?

I've mentioned the ukipt on kracked kings a few times so hopefully their readers know all about it ( they probably do anyway )

There are indeed, but not many so make sure you secure your seat ASAP. If you buy in via the DTD online shop we will refund you should you win a satellite either live or online. You will have to play the satellite seat, so if you just request a refund for the seat you bought we will arrange for you. You can email me to process it nicola@dusktilldawnpoker.com.

Unfortuanetly we no longer cash in dupliacte satellite seats, you can trasfer them to another event at the club or to another player.
since when Nicola?

so if i win two £770 ukipt seats i effectively can have that for tourney credits at the club?

IE a 500 seat and a 250?

APAT is running a satellite on Sunday night for the UKIPT on Stars

"I would like to support DTD's very ambitious plan to guarantee a £1m prize pool at their leg of the UKIPT, which will run between April 11th & 16th.

To that end, I am proposing to run a satellite to the £770 buy in main event, which will run alongside match 4 of the National Online League, this Sunday night.  The National Online League will start at 7pm (with a 1 hour late registration) and our DTD £1m UKIPT satellite will start at 8pm.

With an estimate of between 300 to 400 players playing the National Online League match, we can generate 6 seats at DTD if we can get 200 runners into our satellite at a £25 + £2.50 buy in.  Ambitious perhaps, but we will generate a seat for every 31 runners in the satellite.

To play in a £1m event at Europe's finest poker room would represent an outstanding opportunity for a large number of our members, so let's all get behind this event and get as many APAT players into the draw as we possibly can.

The satellite is now available to register via the PokeStars lobby - Tourny / Private.  The structure will be the new improved National Online League structure, which will feature 4k starting chips and 12 min blinds, with 3 new levels added to offer even more play in the early stages of the tournament."

It is password protected. I will provide the password by PM to APAT Members (you've played an APAT live or Online event, or are signed up to the forum)

Nicola, you previously mentioned that the Day 1s were going to finish at about 1:00am.

Someone else posted:

Unless they've changed the structure from Galway the day 1's finish about 9pm. They play 8 levels  with 3 x 20 mins break so plenty of time to get home rather than have to get a hotel if you live within a few hrs.

Steve

Can you confirm the structure and estimated finishing time for the Day 1s please?

Played the live sat tonight and everyone thought that you could re buy for 8 levels. Then they announced that it was only 6 levels which caught a lot of people out as they did not get chance to shove their half starting stacks in so they could re enter. I managed to get it in with  Kh 3c v  Ad Jh and quite liked the  3d 3h 3s board :)

yeh, little confusing as we did 8 levels (our usual time) and 6 levels on Saturday, was because we have been doing a 15 min clock instead of 20, which is better for super satelittes as we dont want them finishing at 3a, - 4am, that would be real grind for players playing multiple sats! We have changed it back to 8 levels, 10.20pm late reg, for rest of UKIPT satelittes, allowing players to gamble late on and may also get more money in prizepool so win win, sorry for confusion. £50 is way to cheap for a £770 seat really, should be £70 - £100 really at a 5 or 10 seat GTE, but wanted to get as many locals in the comp as poss even if have a few overlays. I hope these live sats are well attended and we dont do our brains, as players have been nagging me to put a full live sat program on when its easier for me to do mega sats online, so I have really pushed things for the regs in club.

You might be lucky Alex but will probably be doubtful as soon as news of Friday selling out is released. Last year people were at the club hours before it opened just trying to get on the alternates list.

Easiest solution is to buy in now through the DTD shop and if you happen to win a seat in the mean time DTD will refund you.

I believe the below is correct but this is obviously subject to change at the TD's discretion:

Day 1A, 1b & 1C - 12:00pm - 11 levels with a split dinner break 5:40 - 7:40 - I know 11 levels is not ideal but we obviously need to ensure we only have 450 max coming back for Day 2
Day 2 - 12:00pm - 8 Levels - Finished for 9pm as per Galway
Day 3 - 12:00pm - Down to final table
Day 4 - 14:00pm - Final table

Hi - I received my email from Stars asking me to register with DTD (even if I am a member which I am) - however I get this message

"You already have a Dusk Till Dawn Membership

Congratulations on qualifying for the Nottingham leg of the UKIPT. To gain entry into the tournament all players are required to complete the tournament registration form below.
This will enable Dusk till Dawn to enter you into the main event and any further side events before the events start.
Failure to complete this form even if you are currently a member of Dusk till Dawn may result in you not being able to play your chosen day.
Thank you and good luck"

I emailed DTD last night who tell me that this issue should now be resolved and you should be able to register even if you are already a DTD member.

To clarify, ALL PokerStars qualifiers/DBIs must go through this process to ensure they are correctly registered with DTD and for the tournament.

UKIPT update! We are SOLD OUT for day 1C and there are a limited number of spaces available for day 1B. If you havent already bought in please do so ASAP, if you then win a satellite we will refund your buy in!

If you are able to play day 1A that will be a great help and if you have already registered for 1C and are able to play another day and you're happy to swap then let me know as you will be doing us a massive favour, we have travelling players hoping to play 1C.

We have started an alternates list for day 1C and hope to get around 150 extra players in so email me and I will put your name down, then it's first come first served in order you are on the list. nicola@dusktilldawnpoker.com :)

Hi Guys

Just to clarify...the reason for Pokerstars requesting your details even if you are a current member is in order for us to enter you into the event. If you are already a member we still need your details because if we were just to receive your name this isn't enough to enter you as this could be a new player. We need details to confirm your DTD account or of course create you a new one.

You won't receive a new account with us, that part is only for new members.

Please fill in the form though to secure your day 1 choice as failure to fill in the form may prevent us from entering you, so really important we get the details.

I hope this makes sense, please let others know .

Cheers Nicola

As stars qualifiers have priority and thet are running sats till Sunday ( 11 tonight ) at least if any of them request Friday as their day of play do dtd players who have registered get bumped off ?
Or is it a case of your bums on a seat and it's staying ??

We will not displace anyone who has already secured their seat, we're not that evil ;)

Anyone who qualifies via PokerStars satellites from about 1 week ago has only had the choice of Day 1A or Day 1B and this will continue. Day 1C is completely full other than the alternates list that DTD (Nicola I believe) is compiling.

I'm going to Dublin tomorrow for a meeting with City West and also to the Irish Open if anyone wants any info I will be there and will try and keep an eye on here.

To answer a point that has come up in the thread a couple of time - we will have onsite PS reg team alongside DTD regular cashier team who will offer buy-ins via your PS account for the full 6 hours of late reg for the main event (including alternates) and all side events.

Lastly - anyone who is already registered for Day 1B/1C on PokerStars but would like to transfer to Day 1A please email registrations@pokerstars.com  ....... means you get a break in between a gruelling Day 1 and the relatively early start on Day 2 :)

reply was sent on the 3rd as follows.

You bought your entry directly to play Day 1C, you will play on the day you bought for. I can confirm you are registered to play Day 1C.

If you are a Dusk Till Dawn member, there is no need to register again.

Doobs, apparently you have to register again, just so they can link up your Stars entry to the member at DTD.

Just make sure you follow the link in your email. PM me if you need the link and can't find the email.

Hi,

Sorry Doobs, one of the inbox team must have the incorrect information, I will make sure I go through with them again.

To clarify, we need everyone who bought in/satellited via PokerStars to complete this form regardless of whether they hold DTD membership already.

Cheers!

At what point after winning a satellite do you get to chose which starting day you play? It was through stars where I expected an email. Maybe that email is yet to come but will we get the option to pick a day?

You should get one fairly quickly I would have thought ,there isnt a lot of choice starting day wise 1 c ( Friday) is full Thursday is nearly full
I thought I read on my e mail that you have up to a week before to register / change your start day
On their site 1a n 1b are still open for registration 1 c is restricted / full

Contact Stars support, and they'll help you and get you sorted pretty much instantly I would have thought.

The best thing to do is contact Pokerstars, however i do believe that their satellite winners are held in a holding lobby for you to pick a day 1, but not sure if this requires you to email them or if you can do this yourself.

You can do it yourself, under the events tab.

Hi Yian,

You will be credited with a ticket which will allow you to register for a start day of your choice - we currently have availability for Day 1A and Day 1B. You will be emailed once the ticket has been credited but you can also check if it has already been credited by selecting 'Requests > Tournament Tickets' from the PokerStars toolbar.

Cheers!

>I entered 1c in the pokerstars client for direct buy in a week or so ago, does that mean I have got day 1c or something else?
>
>I am already a member of dusk til dawn do I still complete the top link?

reply was sent on the 3rd as follows.

You bought your entry directly to play Day 1C, you will play on the day you bought for. I can confirm you are registered to play Day 1C.

If you are a Dusk Till Dawn member, there is no need to register again.

Having read this thread I am now confused again.  :(

Hi,

Sorry Doobs, one of the inbox team must have the incorrect information, I will make sure I go through with them again.

To clarify, we need everyone who bought in/satellited via PokerStars to complete this form regardless of whether they hold DTD membership already.

Cheers!

Someone needs to make DTD support aware of having to reg even if you are a member. Last week I tried to reg using the link from the PS email. After completeing the form I was informed that my email was already in use. I then contacted DTD live support who told me I didn't need to fill in the form as I was already a member. I pointed out that it asks you to fill it in even if you are a member and was told it was not neccessary. I have tried again today and this time the link worked.

I'm assuming I don't need to bring ID to the club on the day as I'm already a member?

I'd love to play the satellites tonight and tomorrow but there's no way I can be at the club for the start of any day 1.

If I happened to win a seat would it be possible to have the cash kept behind the counter to be used for late reg on Wednesday?

If I can't do that unfortunately there's no way I can play the sats :(

There are no late reg's for the UKIPT only alternates. Spoke to Nick and Nicola and they say you'd have to have chips in play from the start

The issue here is that DTD say they will be full for all three starting days as Day1a kicks off

There will be alternates for 6 levels, til 7.40pm each day

So yes you can turn up (late) with £770 but you'll be waiting for a spare seat and obviously DTD will hope that as many alternates get in as possible

I think it means that you can enter late but only as an alternate with chips deducted rather than as a late entry with your starting-stack intact.

Hi Guys

Just to clarify.

There are less than 200 seats left for the 450 starting cap per day therefore we anticipate each day having an alternates list, if all alternates get sat during the 6 levels and you then arrive you would be a late reg. In both cases you will be sat with your full starting stack, however, if the alternates list is still being sat at the end of level 6 players will then have the option to wait for a seat or take a refund, we obviously hope this doesnt happen and that all alternates are sat before the end of the 6th level.

Cheers

I only have 21 seats left for Thursday Day 1b, if you can ONLY play that day you need to either;

1. Buy on on Pokerstars Client
2. Buy in at DTD Shop or DTD Club
3. Find me at the Irish Open!
4. PM me on here IF you know me personally and make payment arrangements

Here are the latest numbers;

UKIPT Summary 7/4/2012         Total
PokerStars Qualifers         551
PokerStars Direct Buy-Ins         223
PokerStars Players         774
DTD Qualifers         250
DTD Shop Buy-Ins         128
DTD Cash Desk Buy-Ins         93
DTD Players         478
Total Players         1,252
GTE Shortfall Players      177

Cheers Rob

Hi Kev

You have done the right thing as you do need to fill the form in. I have reminded the support staff too, it is a bit confusing as usually this would not be the case for our own tournaments.

You will not need to bring ID if you are already a member.

Yes you will be able to play however you will join the alternates list. Although we expect 100+ alternates to be sat each day we can't guarantee everyone on the list a seat therefore we recommend that players who win a satellite have their entries in from the start, as we will have a long list of alternates for 1C already.

Cheers

ACES
Is it day 1a the only day left with seats available ?
Limited seats are still available for 1B too.

I have already bought into day 1c (brag) although I am thinking of supporting the satty's tomorrow, if I bink a seat in the satty what options do I have? Would this be 770 credit for future tourneys or would I get the cash alternative?
You will have the option to transfer the seat to a friend or receive a refund for the seat you bought in with but not the satellite win. It's the same difference but just the way it works.

There was another £1500 overlay in the UKIPT satellite last night and at 2pm today DTD has another 10 seats guaranteed for £50+6 in a Live Satellite, could be the best value of all of them!  There are less than 20 seats left in day 1b of the UKIPT so will be sold out today and Day 1a is almost a certainty to be sold out

According to the schedule, there are 20 seat mega sats in the club on Monday/Tuesday. Will these still happen even if it's sold out by then? That sounds like a silly question even as I was typing it...

I was thinking of playing the Monday one, suspect there might be some overlay value (100 players playing £150 live on a bank holiday Monday evening?).

UKIPT Summary 10/4/2012         Total
PokerStars Qualifers         539
PokerStars Direct Buy-Ins         245
PokerStars Players         784
DTD Qualifers         242
DTD Shop Buy-Ins         173
FPP         7
DTD Cash Desk Buy-Ins         128
DTD Players         550
Total Players         1,334
Players Needed for GTE         95

Okay;

1. PokerStars have stopped taking direct buy-ins apart from Day 1a
2. Day 1b and Day 1c are basically sold out give unless a player moves or Pokerstars give us a few seats back that they have reserved for their pros
3. We have around 100 seats left for Day 1a

If someone is desperate for a Friday Day 1c or Thursday Day 1b seat and CANNOT PLAY THE EVENT OTHERWISE please PM me on here and I will see what I can do in terms of swopping players round that I know do not mind moving to Day 1a, BUT NO PROMISES OKAY!

Cheers Rob

Best to contact them and ask them to forward you on the link, Pokerstars and Dusk Till Dawn representatives will be around every day should you have any problems on the day. A friend of mine is registered to play Day 1a, as is his fiance.

He's had an email from Stars telling him he has been changed to Day 1c to play on the feature table.

This now means he has to change his days off work, but also has to change his fiance's day off and get her seat changed to Day 1c as well, as he is driving them both down from Blackburn.

So if he has been swapped to a sold out day, will players regged for Day 1c be bumped to a different day to accommodate this? Or did they reserve the feature table so they could do this? Bit late in the day to be telling people their plans have changed, not everyone plays poker for a living, so changing them round may result in problems with employers/hotel reservations/travel plans etc.

IMPORTANT:

Please note this is the second time we have seen this spam email. Please ignore any email which states your starting day has been changed. We do not move players starting days once they have selected a day and this would only happen on the request of a player. If anyone has any doubt over their starting day then the PokerStars lobby is always correct. Events > More > UKIPT.

Emails are only sent from ukipt@pokerstars.com, registrations@pokerstars.com or support@pokerstars.com to players (unless they contacted us privately on our private PS email addresses which I will not make public ;) ).

The satelitte qualifers tonight in the Club and Online will have the choice of Day 1a and Day 1b, we kept a few seats back in case and people have been swopping Day 1's like mad for various reasons, as I said in my previous post, i may be able to free up a couple seats on Fri Day 1c as some players are happy to move. The numbers are changing all of the time with the 1000 calls we are getting per day!!!

So, win a seat and we will get you sorted - somehow!

email nicola@dusktilldawnpoker.com with any queries on Day 1's. She contacts you as soon as you have won a seat, or speak to Simon Trumper in the club after you have won your seat.

Last Chance Saloon......

20 seats in club tonight - 8pm £100

10 seats online - 9pm €100

Good Luck,

Rob

Online satellite winners tonight will have the choice of 1A, 1B and 1C. Pokerstars have released very few seats for each day 1 which we will make available to online satellite winners as priority. They will then be given to alternates if any remaining!

For the online satty- if I win a seat tonight and already have a seat thru stars can I take the money?
You will have the option to transfer the seat to a friend or save it for a future event. Unfortunately you will not be entitled to a refund.

So it'll be on deposit?

Yep, that's the email address he got it from... however he's since spoken to Rob and been reassured it is a hoax, he's still on for day 1a.

Lol. This could only happen to one of your mates. And only you could believe that it's not a hoax :)

lol First thing I asked was it a hoax, but Dev isn't stupid himself. I reckon there's plenty of people would believe an email such as that. The only reason I figured it had to be a hoax was the fact he only plays Aces or Kings lol so not much entertainment on a feature table ;)

Last year, Season 2 of the UKIPT, Gareth Walker walked off with the Nottingham trophy and a £109,000 first prize after beating a massive 1,058field.
With this year's buy-in set at £700 + £70, simple math tells you that we expect more than 1,400 runners this year in order to reach the guarantee we have set at £1,000,000.

Well Martin, you have been chosen to come down on Friday 13th April and kick off the tournament on the feature table along with Gareth and 7 others

We have moved your day1 to friday 13th , it may still show as the day1 you selected on pokerstars ukipt lobby.

When you arrive at Dusk Till Dawn on Friday ask for Nick Whiten at reception.

Good Luck!

Kind regards,

Hi Guys

The UKIPT is off to a fantastic start...with 532 players on day 1A we are looking at over £1.1 Million now!!  ;mexicanwave;

We had 230 players knocked out in the alternates period today which means we can guarantee all players who turn up tomorrow and Friday a seat between 12noon and 7.40pm!

If you fancy a stab at over £1 Million then get yourself down this week. Doors open at 10am :)

Cheers Nicola

P.S. Why am I not allowed to play this  ;envious;

Hi Guys

If today is anything to go by we could hit 1700 players in the UKIPT! We added 3 tables to the original 50 cap and started with 477 and got another 55 players in as alternates, tomorrow and Friday we will have 55 tables at the start so 495 per day + alternates for 6 levels so already we have 1522 players in the comp for a prizepool of £1,065,400 already in excess of the £1,000,000 guarantee, we ca...n seat at least 200 alternates a day during the first 6 levels, we should get another 50 tomorrow and Friday we expect at least 100 so minimum prizepool is looking like £1,170,000.

Cash games are rocking, several £1 £2 No Limit £2 £2 / £5 £5 PLO and DC and a Hi Roller £10 £25 round of each with players buying in for £10,000+

Will let you know what the latest numbers are after level 6 tomorrow, really proud of the whole team here at Dusk Till Dawn for achieveing this amazing feat.

Cheers

BUY IN ONLINE THROUGH DTD SHOP OR POKERSTARS CLIENT

CHEERS ROB
Any chance you can start giving out the alternate numbers on the list. I reckon come 4am Friday morning Dtd is gonna look like the front of Harrods on boxing day with punters waiting for the doors to the sales open.

And when can we start regging for the £2million gtd Dtd/ukipt in 2013 :)
Lol. People outside Dtd 3 hours before the off this morning trying to get on the alternates list. Dtd are pretty confident of getting everyone in but how disappointed would you be if you never got in :(

Hi Guys

Sorry for no update yesterday, was a little busy!!! We had 558 players for Day 1b, our busiest day so far, clearly players bought in early for this event to avoid being an alternate, we are on level 3 today and so far have 1593 players and no alternates remaining.

If you can get here by 7.40pm you will get a seat, the prizepool is currently ONE MILLION ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED POUNDS!!!!!!! a phenomenal achievement by all at Dusk Till Dawn and Poker Stars that have worked so hard to make this happen.

Ok, we ended up with 1625 players, 207 will get paid out of the £1,137,500 prizepool and the winner will take home £210,400. Today we have the £2000 Hi Roller, looks like it will end on 50 players, a lot of the bigger players have taken the weekend off as they are going to Berlin.

the £300 will start with 180 players and with late reg should make 270 - 300. We stopped the Main Event to watch the G...rand National and there was a brilliant atmosphere for the 400 players in the club.

Tomorrow we have Day 3 of the Main, Day 2 of the Hi Roller and £300, at 1pm a £200 PLO, 4pm a £100 Charity NL and at 8pm a £150 NL Turbo.

At one point we had 27 cash games last night, at 3pm we still had 15, all 55 tables will be in use again tonight when the Main Event ends and we can seat all the alternates for the £300, how are we going to top this next year?

Cheers

I am so proud of what we have achieved this week, every department at Dusk Till Dawn worked so hard and put in 200% both in effort and hours. it has been a pleasure to work alongside all of them and with all the Poker Stars staff who have also worked incredibly hard.

It was only 6 weeks ago the Nottingham leg of the UKIPT announced the £1,000,000 guarantee, having already crushed the previous record for biggest field in the first season that we already held of 650 with a whopping 1058 it was still a huge ask to go for 1428 players when the buy in had been increased from £560 to £770 but from day 1 both Poker Stars and Dusk Till Dawn believed we could do it and worked tirelessly promoting the event.

It captured the imagination and aspirations of players not just in the UK but across Europe too, as a result 1625 players turned up and after nearly 4 and a half years of running the biggest fields we yet again ran a seamless event breaking another of our in house records by having 6 tournaments being run simultaneously today, can any other club in Europe do this ?

In November 2007 we opened with 16 staff, this week we had 120 pull off a phenomenal achievement, thanyou to all of you and a special mention to our card room manager Danny Bell who worked today on his 40th birthday, that is dedication.

All the best ACES

I knew it wasnt going to be my day when I was drawn on the same table that served me up such miserable holdings in last years event. Alas no hands and no flops again. Still I play because I enjoy and I feel very privelidged to have DTD on my driving doorstep. N1, WP. etc.

All over and what a great story!

The winner of the first ever £1000,000 guaranteed tournament in the UK, the UKIPT Nottingham was Robert Baguley who plays our £15 comps 3 nights a week.

He won outright, no deals for £210,400.

It cost him £224 to enter, he played the last live satellite at the club and only re entered as he had lost his first stack after just 10 minutes!

Well done to both Robert and the runner up Iqbal Ahmed who collected £125,000.
