Title: Tournament Staking Package SOLD OUT
Post by: Eso Kral on March 17, 2012, 11:39:14 AM
Well it seems fashionable to have one so here we go!

My name is Richard Blacklock and for those that dont know me I run a diary here on blonde http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=54701.0 (http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=54701.0) I would like to play a package of events across April and May and tbh due to life roll pressure do not have the funding to play all of them so rather than play 1-2 events am putting this thread up and rather than sell event to event would rather the backers if any carry their %'s through.
I would like to sell 50% of my action at face value 1:1 in these events

April DTD mini Deepstack £168 - I shall be playing Friday 6th and if needs be have both bullets for Saturday so = £504

Pokerstars UKIPT £112 side event Thursday 12th followed by
Main Event £770 day1c both at DTD

Finally the May DTD Deepstack likely to be £560 and would like to play with both bullets if required so £560 x 2 = £1120

Total Package Value  £2506 if we need all the re-entrys for the deepstacks.  Selling 50%
So 10% = £250.60
5%= £125.30
2.5% = £62.65

Most people around here know me and obviously I dont play full time infact I have only played 4 times live this year and a handfull of tourneys on DTD IPN network please see below links to hendon mob etc

http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=165320 (http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=165320)

Please find below a link to my latest Sharkscope for DTD on the IPN network which is all I play and is basically over the past 6months when I was working with Pleno although obv's only a very small sample

http://i1080.photobucket.com/albums/j327/esokral/sscope.jpg (http://i1080.photobucket.com/albums/j327/esokral/sscope.jpg)

For the record if I dont sell I dont play all the events and I am selling at face not requiring monies for travel, accomodation or massages  ;) and as an added incentive for those that purchase a % I won a golden chip satty last night for the April Grand Prix on my 4th attempt and all backers shall receive a carried forward % to that event and the subsequent Caribbean Poker Party when I final the Grand Prix!!

Would prefer Bank Transfer but am happy for Stars for some of it so can buy in direct to UKIPT events
Apologies for the TL;DR and flame away

10% Tikay  Received
30% Flushy
10% gone via PM to BIG D  Received

We are all ready for our first event this weekend and have had to change plans on UKIPT as being a tad unorganised day 1c Sold out whilst I was away so we are playing Day 1B (Thursday) and have entered direct via the DTD shop.

I cant seem to enter the side events atm so am not sure if they will run as dependant on numbers there may be no room so obv will refund hopefully with some winnings at the end.

Also whilst I was away I saw that the entry fees at DTD may be say £500 not £550+ £60 for the May deepstack so will most likely be refunds on that as well once confirmation is up.

Received all ££ except Flushy's who is jet-setting all over the place so were good to go.

GL us and thanks for the staking

So we have money to come, come what may? Thats a bonus, I had written the lot off......

You mention "LB44", I assume you know him from Luton? Good player, nice lad, very aggro, likes to gamble. He is the brother of Sam Bayliss, a lovely kid who is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, cash game player next door.

Good luck on Day Two, Richard.

TOURNAMENT REPORT

Close but no big cigar maybe more of a cafe creme, we played with the intention of firing 1 bullet out of the 3 permitted for this comp on Good Friday and it turned out to be a GOOD Friday as despite Tighty's initial post of a man who looks like he will fire 4 bullets we managed to fire just the 1 so there was a CASHBACK to stakers of £336 once we finished the day.

I as a recreational player with a bit of game really feel that TABLE DRAW can have a massive influence on how  your tourney will go as if you are sat with say Poshboy/Bedi or the like to your left they have the ability to put you in a box if you make a mistake so when we sat down and saw a table full of recreational players like myself I was more than happy and the only player I recognised was LB44 (Liam Batey) who has a bit of game about him aswell but was in MP to my BB and will be EP when we are btn/hj/co and with tight passive players to my left  we are likely to have a few opps to open which we did whenever folded to and by level 2 we were upto 25k before making further progress with 3 streets of value with JJ on AJ623 which got us upto 45k and over double average.

We then had a rooler coaster of preflop coolers eg ep raise followed by 2 flat callers and we 3b iso raise  Ad Qd in the hijack with the sb now 4b jams and we have to call it off losing to "dem aces" and then as the table starts to thin 2 agro chinese players sit to my left (1known)  so we nit it up for a while and watch as the other newbie to our table limp calls 7/10o and calls 2 streets with a gutshot draw and calls the river bet on a paired 4 flushing board having hit his gutshot otr and we know we need to play a pot against this guy.

I get this opp in a fairly loose peel oop with  Kd Qh after he min raises ep and picks up the button me and the bb to see a flop of  Ad Jd 6c and the action goes check check 1/2 pot o/r, btn folds and we peel as there are many cards on the turn meaning we can see a cheap river, that is until the  Ts rolls off on the turn where we c/c again and despit the  Jh rolling off decide to b/f 3/4 pot as he will never be bluffing here and when we dont get an immediate allin know we are good which is confirmed after the dwell call with AQ.
He does get 10k back off us the very next hand after again limp calling some random suited hand with us turning flush and straight draws but him flopping  the flush with a lovely  6h Jh so with our image shredded we again nit up for a couple of orbits which turns into 3 levels being card and spot dead until we get the long awaited table break with 22bigs going into the last 2 levels of the night.

3rd hand in on our new table we get a double through finding Kings and jamming over a ep raise getting re-jammed by the button and holding vs AJ despite the Anti rail from John the updater which was similar to having Vinny on your shoulder  ;) after a small backward step to 63k we rebuild and put our wizards cape making a hero call otr with 3rd pair before winning the penultimate hand of the night calling JJ off to a shorties shove UTG and are satisfied to bag up 105400 having only been all in once when we held Kings.

DAY 2

We arrive and after a chat with Tighty sit down at our new table and have Ben Dobson (short stack), Frankie, Pete Haslam and Big Al Armitage along with our 105400 soldiers (copyright Pleno) and after the first orbit of folding raise the C/o to 5200 at 12/2400/300 with KQo to find Ben jam for just over 25k more and sigh call it off and do a get there vs his A10 and were off and running.

Next orbit and it folds to us on the button and due to the table tightness we make a light open with  Kc 2s to 5100 and Bullit Pete 3bets from the sb to 11600 now I cant have him take the initiative so early in the day and due to his previous online background I know he does not always have to have a hand here either so we count out 24700 and take our 5100 back which leaves him no option to jam or fold which he does after a short dwell  ;).

After a short while we get a 4bet through IP with AK and have steadily chipped up to 280k on the bubble with the average at 155k so we are never going to have a sweat of not reaching the money and can put some pressure on and at 2500/5000 on the pure bubble we look down to  Jc Jh and raise the c/o to 10200 which gets flatted by Pete in the sb and after a dwell Frankie jams the bb  for another 100k I call as Pete only has 150k himself and if we lose we will be back to average.  Frankie flips AKo and the window card is the A followed by a K and we are drawing thin until the river when the case Jack rolls off which makes us further progress.

Pretty soon we break tables and again have a good draw looking at the other 3 tables we could have been drawn on and get to just under 500k before making a dodgy call which in hindsight I regret with 77 vs a button shove over a limp and having chatted about the hand with a couple of peeps I can fold and preserve 100k.

We make some downward movement when the table value limps utg+2 and we iso raise the co with 33 and see a flop of  Qc 7h 4h after a cbet which is called this guy will never fold but otr he leads for 1/4 pot and we call it off as he can have a busted flush here lots which he did, unfortunately for us he held the mighty  2h Qh and we now needed to nit up and wait for a hand or two.

Down to the last 3 tables and we join table Bedi which was probs the toughest of the 3 left and with 290 and blinds soon to go 10k/20k we needed a double through to get back to average and despite  one jam and a 3bet from the SB to induce a hopefull shove when we held the top end of our range we exited along with Chuckles in the same hand when the UTG limps and with 70k inc antes in the middle we jam 280k with JJ and Bedi re-jams for 325k from the button and the OR calls instantly with "dem aces" in an old school limp utg way.

This time we find no help and would also have lost to Bedi who held the rather pretty  Ac Kc and would have hit a King to KO us so this time was not to be, and we finished 21st for £600

So we currently have £336 in the bank from unused entries this weekend and a cash of £600 going into the KIPT this week in which we plan to play the £100 side event on Weds followed by the main event on Thursday and I have the pleasure of driving Dubai up Weds afternoon.

Dependant on the number of players left in the Main event we may not get chance to play the £100 as I cant see how many tables they can allocate to the side event so if I dont hear further are we ok to say that unless there are 50 players or more we will swerve the side event?

GL to us this week :)

Despite a horrendous journey up with Dubai where I lost every flip on the colour of the next car to come past us we are here at DTD.

We are also entered for the 100 side as there looks to be enough runners

*please note this is a 15 minute turbo event with 5000 chips so we will adapt.

lol long story at one point a light came on the dash we couldnt get past 3000rpm and 30mins later even steptoe and son had passed us. Luckily Dubai is a mechanic or at least was googling like mad and having pulled over and stopped at the first services the light went off and normal non passing service was resumed ;)

Anyway first break we have 7000   average 6000  but due to the turbot nature blinds going 150/300

Nottingham UKIPT report

As already update the side event we played really well throughout and even Dom complimented us on our game (confirmed legend) and we were desperately unlucky to get crippled by Dreenie in the AA v 84cc coup for 14% of the chips in play with 16 left which meant we bust out before the ££££

The main event we played Day 1B Thurs and sat down on a table with Thomas Ward (very good) IP to us, Frankie, a lagtard online player and one other decent player so as opening tables go we were pretty unlucky and having picked up a few pp's but not flopping dem sets early we were down to around the 13k mark with the lagtard opening 80% of pots and Thomas IP we had to carefully pick and choose our spots of which there were 2 on the table and I tried to 3b or 4b every time they were involved which meant we chipped up to 25k by level 4 and then hung around the 25-30k mark to level 8 which was average where we moved tables with 3 levels to play and blinds going 4/800/100.

This level was a real grind and if you had offered me a double through then I would have snapped your hand off and come back to day 2! We got a full double through when a smart looking Asian gentleman 4x utg to 3200 and an elderley gentleman in MP 3b's to 10k and we look down @ "dem aces" in the CO and 28k back and having seen this gentleman play for a while he is never folding having 3b so jammed and get called by his QQ which we hold and get to the heady hights of 60k with the average at 50k.

Into the final level of the day 600/1200/100 and we make further progress to 80k when we raise the Btn to 2400 with A9o and the sb comes along for the ride and we see a flop of  2d 3c Jh and he checks and I decide to just check it back so we see a turn of  7d and he now decides to lead for 3000 but he does not look comfortable so I just peel one off which is a river  3h and after a short dwell he places 7000 on the felt but in a different way to all the other bets I had observed so I looked at him for a while and he gave a pretty obv live tell (not always right) and I flick in the 7k and he checks his cards and mucks over the line to which I ask the dealer "Are they mucked" and the guy inst flips  6d 9d just so he can see my hand so now I have to show my call which still scoops but he is a visibly tilted.

I got the feeling he would defo try to make a play at some stage vs me as I had been opening quite a few pots since joining the table and with 40 mins left I opened to 2400 with AKo from the H/J and he 3b's to 7100 from the CO and the Asian guy who opened in my double through hand now rejams from the BB and if I am really honest here I  made 2 mistakes :(

1. I miscalculated his stack by 10k as thought it was 30k not 40k
2. Didnt give him credit for the fact he will never be bluffing this spot and at best we have 1or2 overs and due to mistake 1 if we lose this pot we will be shortish going into the last half hour.

I rejammed and now the guy to my left dwells saying F**k, F**K cant believe it, "You have Aces again dont you", so I put my best Aces Nostril flaring face on and after a while he open folds KINGS and whilst happy realise there is 2 of our outs gone and the 4bettor proudly flips QQ so we need to hit to get to 130k and a decent stack for day2 but alas  brick completely and to make matters worse 5 hands later we get a table break having just passed through the blinds.

Post by: Eso Kral on April 18, 2012, 02:13:33 PM
It's funny how sometimes a mistake can lead to your exit hand and the AK hand definately meant we exited on Day 1 as it influenced how and the hands I played for that last half hour.

I move to a table in the old VIP area and obv everyone had more chippies than me except Ceri Rees who had half as much but grinded his little nuts off and I made one R/F with A8 and then sigh folded when opening to 2400 with A8hh and picking up a flat on the btn and bb and we see a flop of  Ac 5s 6s to which the bb checks we cbet 3400 and get called by the btn and then the bb c/r us to 10k and we sigh fold as we still have 20bigs  and what are we ever beating here???

Our exit hand is literally down to the AK hand as when Sunil Mistri raises to 2600 in the c/o and we hold Q7cc and 15 bigs in the SB it seems a good spot to get it in with and he snaps with Aces and despite a xxxcc flop it's the wrong black cards on turn and river and we exit kicking ourselves over that hand!

So a big apology from me as whilst you never know what will happen over that next 40 mins if we fold as we should having only put in 2400 to the pot we most likely get a chance to make day 2 and from there who knows?

Anyway onwards and upwards our next tourney is the freeroll for you guys which is the Grand Prix where we are playing next Thursday with a golden chip and if we get Ko'd I am re-entering of my own dime to try and make day 2 onwards.

We also have a few extra ££ to add to the bank as the £560 we have accounted for the May Deepstack at DTD is now a £500 tournament so as we had 2 bullets there is £120 to be added back in.

So we have  £168 x 2 (buy-ins not used) plus £600 cash from £150 deepie plus £120 (reg fees not required) = £1056

Just for the record if no-one objects, I have been offered a club Wembley ticket for the cup final on Day1a of the £500 deepstack so upon leaving Wembley I shall be driving up and late regging 1A then playing Day1b if required!!

DTD GRAND PRIX

This was the freeroll for the stakers and despite building a healthy stack of 70k by level 6 we busted in level 14 of 15 when we jammed over the top of an utg limper and mp raise with 24bigs and JJ and could not hold vs AK of the raiser  >:(

The final event on this stake is the £500 deepstack next weekend and I have already mentioned that I have a club Wembley ticket for the FA cup final and wa going to late reg after the game but I am now aware the kickoff is at 5.15pm so if the match finishes off without the need for extra time/penalties we would be leaving Wembley at 7pm and likely to be in Nottingham circa 9.30-10.00pm so I want to give you the stakers the option and will be guided by yourselves whether you want me to late reg at 9pm (the latest time) and means we would be sitting with roughly 25bb's when I get there.

We allocated 2 bullets to this event so I guess its whether you want me to take a punt on Bullet 1 or we just play 1b with the option of a reload if necessary and if not the £500 gets added to the returns?
Pls post your preference!

Happpy to do whatever you think best, Rich, but there are TWO opening days for the £500, Saturday & Sunday, yes?

Yeah that's what I meant ie we play just Sunday and bank the £500 or if we received a beat early on can reload on the Sunday.

I will see how we go as if there is extra time and/or pens it will be a no go anyway.

Unfortunately we bust the £500 in level 9 losing 2pots the decisive one being JJ vs AQo against M Wernick.
Will do a full report and totals tomorrow as we didnt need the extra bullet in this event.

DTD £500 Report

I played day 1b and had a decent starting table with a few known players to me but had a decent position in relation to them with only Pizzled I was oop to and a couple of unknowns to my right.

It helps if you do pick up a few decent hands also and despite the deck not smacking me in the face I seemed to have the best hand at show down a fair bit but also was playing my pos fairly well imo and won quite a few pots without showdown enabling me to chip up to 40k from a starting stack of 30k fairly quickly.

I was opening most unopened pots and 3/4 betting in some good spots and obv had to raise fold a few times along the way but by the start of level 9 600/1200/100 my stack was a fairly healthy 55k and then we lost 2 pots in just over an orbit which basically felted us.

Pot 1 -  Kinboshi opens to 2500 utg from 16.5k and it folds to us in the c/o and look down to  Qd Kd and 3b to 6100 with the intention of calling a shove from him until Gav (Pizzled) 4b's all in for 17k and after Boshi folds we call off a similar amount and dont get there vs his rejam with  Ad Jd which leaves us with 38k.

Pot 2 - It's folded to me in mp and we open to 2500 with  Js Jc and Micky Wernick 3b's to 12000 from 34k and after a short dwell from me he says "Have you got a decision to make?"  and a few seconds later I jam all in which I still think is fairly standard although Micky is  granite his 3bet size is quite big and we crush most of his range imo, after a few seconds of thought he says "he has put in too much" and calls it off and we need to hold vs Ahrt Qs but despite the safe looking flop and turn the  Qc send us down to 3bb's which are all in 2 hands later and we dont get there and are Ko'd.

I decided as we were only 10 mins away from the 8/1600 level that it was not worth using our re-entry and just gambling £500 with less than 20 bigs so this needs to be added to our returns total.

In summary across the tourneys

£150 deepstack at DTD we finished 20th for £600

£110 Ukipt side turbo  Lost AA vs 84cc on a 9A6 one club board for just under 13% of the chips in play with 17 left and 12 paid

Ukipt Main event - Made a mistake last level of the day rejamming against 2 players older than myself with AK and didnt get there which left us short and definately stopped us making day 2

Grand Prix - Bust jamming all in with JJ losing to AK for a day2 stack in the penultimate level of the day

DTD £500 see report above

Therefore we have £1556 in cashes and unused buy-ins as despite my image we didnt require a re-entry that we allocated for.

If you could let me know how you would like to receive payment and I will sort out later this week or if you all agree I am happy to play another few events under the same deal and the events I would propose are

June £500 deepstack at DTD 30k ss and a 1 hour clock which I think will really suit our style.

If we bust this there are 2 £500 satelites to this years WSOP and whilst not planning to go can get the time off if I win a seat.

Plus I will play a £150 deepstack event most likely 25th/27th May which is an 888 sponsored event with 20k on a 30 min clock.

So total entries would be a maximum of £1650 but I will flick in the difference if we give it a further spin.

Please note that should I happen to win a seat to Vegas with DTD then all %'s will carry forward to that event obviously.

Please let me know itt or via pm what you wish to do and thanks very much for the opportunity on this stake.

Sorry for the late TR but just been soooo busy after busting the £150!

888Superstack event  26/5  Mint Casino Cromwell Road, London
20k ss  30 mins clock

We played day1b and the prizepool was approx £22k but they miss a level or two along the way so it gets a bit crappy from 3/600 but unfortunately we never got started in this event.

I was on a table of unknowns who were very limp happy and in level 1 we pick up  Tc Td in the sb and after a raise and a flat we make up in the sb and see a  2h 5c Qd and elect to cc the cbet from the or to see the  9c where the action goes cc on the  9d we lead for 1/2pot and get a call but showdown the winner and were above s/stack, the next hand we 3b the same villain with  Ahrt Jh otb but fold to his 4b and were off to level 2.

Level 2 sees us again find 10's in the blinds and after a limp utg and utg2 a young kid in mp makes it 600 to which we flat as does utg2 and we see a flop of  3h 4d 5d which gets checked around and a  Jc rolls off on the turn, we check again with the intention of check calling 1 street but after a weak looking lead of 400 by the utg2 the or 3b's to 1200 and we get out of the way to see a  5s river which both check and the utg2 wins with  6d 7d vs  Qd Qh in a pot that coould have been a lot bigger and we are back to s/stack of 20k at the start of level3.

Level 3 starts with a hand i should fold pre maybe, after it's folded to me in mp i open to 500 with  Th Js which gets called in just the 3 spots and I continue the lead with a cbet of 1175 on the  8c Qc Kh flop which the Co virtually min raises to 2500 which we now flat but cf on the bricktastic  2d and with no other hands of note in level 3 were off to the break with 16500 coming back at 150/300.

I spent the break chatting to Dan Edler who apart from Sam Holden (obv playing for 888) was the only other player i recognised.

Level 4 bought no joy with me raise folding twice to the tightest players on the table who had awkward stack sizes and led us into level 5 where we exited at 2/400/50 when after not playing a hand of note thought I had earned myself a bit of "Vagrancy Vig" so after opening to 950 with  9s Ts get flatted by a loose (in the card sense) lady in the co and the btn who was decent but a bit squeezy made it 2350 otb, I elected to 4b to 5400 as this was my first4b vs the villain with a plan to fold if he 5b's or try and tid on the flop and after a short while he flatted and with 12k back we needed to flop well which came  Qs 8s 2d and after i led for 1/2 pot was never folding with him setting me all-in and after 2 bricks on the turn and river losing to  Qc Qd it was back on the train to Southend.

So this weekend sees us at DTD where we will be playing Saturday in the £500 and if we dont make day2 will have 1 shot at the WSOP satty which will leave us either another £500 event or 3 bullets at a £150 DTD event in June/July.

Thanks for all the funks and grats during Sunday!!

Apols for the TL;DR TR but this tourney was "A tale of two Queens on the River"

I late regged having left Essex at 5.45 and arrived at 8.30 joining the table of Re-entries including GreekJack, Mehmet, Junior Senior who I knew with 30k @ 2/400/25 and tbh I hated the table with everyone splashing around and making loose peels which caused me to lose the first pot we played when I got slow rolled by a random leaving us 23k going into 250/500 which was the bust out level for our first bullet.

A tight young guy raises to 1050 and Mehmet peels from the CO and we 3b to 3200 AQo from the BTN and it is just Mehmet with us to the flop which bought  2h 4h 5d and he donks out 6k, I had only played 1 pot on this table and 3b AI with BD flush and gutshot plus 2 overs hopefully and he had peeled  4s 8s and despite the  8h turn we didnt catch and it was off to the cash desk to re-enter.

A new table of randoms awaited and I won the only pot I played in the rest of the 250/500 level but at 3/600/75 I got a full double through when I raised the CO to 1350 with  Qh Kh and the sb who was a young guy 3b to 3700, the bb who imo was capable 4b to 8300 and the action was back to us so as I am late 30's thought I would get some credit with a 5b and the BB had been the most active on the table since I had sat down so I 5b to 18200 and after the SB folded and a short dwell the BB set us all in for our last 12k and obv I can never fold for the rest.  We were in as good a shape as poss as he had  Ts Td and the  Qd sent us over 60k.

Next level 4/800/75 UTG limps as do 2 others and we try to thin the field with a raise to 3400 with  Qc Kc and after the UTG calls so do the others but we flop a dream  5c 8c Tc and now UTG wants to show some aggression leading 5800 from 25k back the HJ cold flats from 25k as well and we set them in with UTG getting out of the way and HJ calling off  7h 9c which does not get the miracle required and we are north of 100k which we hovered at until 1/2000/300.

These next few levels enabled us to really build a stack for day 2 as once we were double average we could pressure the shorter stacks in good spots our first movement at this level when UTG2 raises to 4600 and the BTN shoves 45k and we look down at "The Beltons" or  Qd Qs Utg folds JJ face up and we win the flip vs AK despite the  Ad 2d 7c flop the  Qd and  8d sends us to 160k and 2 hands later flop a set IP vs another deepstack to take us to 200k with the average at 88k.

Tikay had now joined our table and bought some further rungood to the stake after softening up the chap to his right in a SB vs BTN coup the next hand he declares "lets try again" and raises to 5200 at 12/2400/300 we look down at AJo in the SB and just flat flopping  Ac 9c 4h and we check call a cbet of 6k turning 2p when the  Jh rolls off and CC 15k and donk 20500 on the  2h river which gets raised to 60k, after a short dwell we call the extra 40k and he declares 2p showing A9.

Another 2 hands go by and we make it 5300 in the HJ with  Aspades 8s and the BB who loves to peel does so and checks the  8h 9h 2d flop to us we cb 6300 and he clicks it back to 113k with 48k back and after we set him in he soul reads me telling me I have10J or A8 and calls off having peeled  9s 5s the  Ad turn and blank river send us to 340k into level 14 where we win a small pot vs a shortie to take 360 into the last level of the day and first hand of 2/4000/500 make it 10500 with  Ad Kd   UTG1 3bs quite big to 37500 from 250k and it folds back to us and I figure we need to 4b big enough to TID or get it in so 4B to 81000 and he sigh folds and for the rest of the level we pretty much fold junk as the shorties try to get it in and we end up bagging up 381500 to take into day 2

Title: Re: Tournament Staking Package SOLD OUT

Day 2

We have a good table draw with Pos on the only guy with a big stack on our table and also a guy from Day 1 who was pretty laggy and after losing a small pot early against British Gas I played a hand of poker that could have meant we dont cash if my read on the player is wrong.

The laggy guy raises the CO to 11500 at 2500/5000/500 and we 3b  Jh Ac to 27k from the btn which the villain quickly calls to see the flop of  6s 8c 3d which he checks and we fire a cbet of 36k which is called quickly the  Ks is checked again and I figure this is a great barrel card and fire 56k which is called again and now I'm not loving life but a brick  2c hits the river and the villain now wants to donk 52k with a further 250 back but after a quick study of his body language he does not look comfortable and gives off a fairly reliable live tell that I picked up on Friday night in a pot with him and with 260 back myself dont really like flatting here as figure sometimes he randomly has a 6or8 so a hero call here still loses the pot and therefore after weighing it up Jam the river and he mucks  9s Ts face up so I show him our bluff with the best hand to show we are here to play.

The same villain then bets 3 streets B v B and we are good with  6s 8s on a  7c 8d Ks Kh Jd runout sending us over 625k again giving off his tell and not long after we are on the pure bubble when the following hand occurs.

Retired guy who seems to build stacks in this tourney raises UTG  and gets 3b by the SB and then 4b by the BB which is met with an immediate shove for 400k from the OR and a sighfull fold from the SB and after a short dwell the BB folds QQ face up to which the OR flips AA and the SB declared he folded KK which I believe but if AA flats the 4b he gets KK to jam and is in pretty good shape.  The very next hand I raise UTG2 to 13k with  Qh Qd and get flatted behind in 2 spots with the QQ guy from the previous hand now3b to 75k with 225 back and after a 4b from me we get it in but in bad shape as he has KK unluckily for him the door card is a Q and were upto 900k at 400k avg when we get a table break and sit tight for a couple of levels winning bits and bobs until a big WAL Eso has hand.

The blinds are 5/10000/1000 and UTG raises to 23k which is followed by a lady jamming 175 from the CO and the SB asking for a count and counts out the 175 whilst looking at the UTG stack which is similar to his at 250k, unfortunately little does he know but we have already seen two lovely black Aces in the BB and after making it look like we are ready to fold call his Jam and hold vs QKo and AKo to send us to 1.3million of the 7.7 in play and 15 players left.

Out table breaks immediately and we get the nut worst table from a players perspective as it holds Tommy Bingham, Glen Storey, Jon Gill, Dan Owston and probs 5 million of the 7.7 in play and these guys love the 3/4/5b wars where as the other table are all passively waiting for a double through.

After some chips moving around the table I had a "SPEW" that John Black would have proud of when i open to 35k at 8/16k/2k with  Tc Kc from the CO and Dan 3b's to 105 from 600k  4 hands earlier I won my first pot in 2 levels on this table to which he replied "who woke you up?" so he had noticed i was playing pretty snug plus he does have a good game himself and figured a 4b here would gt some respect, however in hindsight I should just fold and if I'm going to 4b should make it a tad bigger as it makes the 5b jams of his an immediate call instead of close and after I 4b to  235k he dwell jammed on me and I sighed it off and were up against QQ which didnt look amazing on the  Jc 8d 2h 9c board giving us a river sweat which bricked to knock us back to 600k which became worse when we then got moved to the other table where only brijesh Gas had 750k and the rest 200/250.

I managed to chip back up pretty quickly to 850 in good spots and 1 get there when it folds to me in the SB and I find A2o jamming into the BB who has 200k at the start of the hand and unluckily for the lady in question she found JJ which lost when the A hit the flop but then we double through a shortie who jams 11 bigs from the btn into our BB and we find 77 losing to K8o on the river and then lose a further 200k BvB to Brijesh with QQ vs K8 again giving up on the turn to a turn 3b and we make the 9 handed final table with 500k and one to get KO'd before the live stream final.

We mange to win 2 pots jamming over raises with our stack in good spots but with hands both times and make the FT with 600K after Jon Gill KO's 2 players in a cooler his 1010 v AA v 88 on a 10 6 3 board so we are 7 handed with over 1k locked up and 24 bb's on the FT and I picture a double through gets us back in the game as Jon has half the chips in play so the AVG is a bit false.

We get the double through vs Glen Storey  his btn vs our bb us holding 88 v 77 aipf to get back to 1.2million and from this point if I am brutally honest we were a bit of a card rack and any monkey with a Raise/Call button would have won except for 2 hands which were IMO well played where in the first we raise the btn with  5d 6d and Jon 3b's the SB and folds to the 4b showing  Ad 7d which after Chinese Frankie on the rail urges me to show the bluff so we do and pretty soon we are 3 handed with Jon and myself holding 7.2 million of the 7.7 in play and I dont really wish to tangle too much with him obv but looking down at 55 in the SB make it 105 at 20/40k which Jon clicks back to 235 and we flat seeing a pretty decent flop of  8c 8d 5c and I love donking in this spot doing so to 225k which gets called and decide to CR the turn setting up a river shove which Jon gives up on the river which I am pretty happy about as I really wanted Jon and I to be the last 2 standing.

The reason I really wanted Jon and I HU was that during the final he had told me how much this meant to him ££ wise so to bust him in that coup with the shortie only having 12 bigs and having laddered vv well the whole day on all my tables wanted him out next which happened the next hand when I raise called the button in a standard spot with K9 to be in good shape vs JQo but the J 7 4 flop leaves us in bad shape but when it is your day it is your day and we get there on the T and Q river to leave us heads up and we immediately shook hands taking the ICM chip count deal which is the only deal we were allowed to do but hopefully worked well for all parties.

So we have a winning stake still with 2/3 tournies yet to play, can we bink something else?  :)

"A Tale of 2 Spews!"

GUKPT Plymouth £500 + £50

This was a bit of a snoozefest early on with 50k starting stack and an hour clock with every imaginable level bar 250/500 and 2500/5000 so with 76 runners there was no need to get busy early and the first hand of note we played was at 75/150 when Stuart Kinghorn (Discostu) raises utg and we flat  Tc Td as it's early and Stu had no reason to be ool from utg and after a flat from the co who was a v loose guy called Martin holmes we opened up the door for the button who was Italian and a nice guy who had already shown he was happy to splash around ahving already 6x'd some spot and he made it 2600 with myself and Martin now calling to see a flop of K72 r/bow and after myself and Martin chk he fired out 4200 which I called with the intention of chk/folding the turn if he fired again on certain cards but was happy to see him chk back the offsuit 4 and we saw a fairly safe 7 river.  Andrea the Italian had shown a tendancy to overbet the river as a bluff or for value so I felt that leading was cheaper in the long run as I can dictate the size and he never bluffs me with the action as played so fired out 7400 figuring I am only worried about JJ/QQ here unfortunately he had JJ and we were on the back foot.

Martin Holmes was very happy with the re-entry option and had declared levels 5/6 would see him double back to S/stack or re-enter and I was hoping to find a hand vs him as most of his action was to just raise in or oop and over bet jam flops and rivers and show the bluff but in levels 5 and 6 we were left with 22k and had no spots or cards we could take advantage of and due to the seating positions with it being Martin and the Italians blinds when I was in LP or them in LP when I was utg - utg2 I had to really nit it up and tighten all of my opening/3 b'ing ranges as they just flat ip or both call it off from the blinds needing us to flop happy with our stack, this is really tough for me but you have to adapt and was still happy with 50 bigs coming back at 2/400/50.

I had a convo on the break before this level with Vinny and Paul about how it was inportant not to think about stacks but blinds in this comp more than others due to the great structure and coming back a couple of hands in we received a confidence building double through.  DiscoStu raised utg to 1100 and I 3b to 2700 with AKo which he just flatted to see a flop of  9h Th 2s and he check called 3300 from me and we saw the  Ks so with a pot of 13050 and roughly 14k back it was a fairly easy turn jam from me and as he didnt snap I sat fairly confident and still so when he counted out the call and sighed it off with KJo and we faded the 7 outer to get to over 40k.

For a £500 comp people were really passive and the action tended to go 4x to 1600 with 3 or 4 callers behind so having rebuilt my stack nitted it up again as if you could find a few hands people paid you off and we got another opportunity at 3/600/75 when we find  Kh Kd utg and made it 2100 (this is bigger than I would ever normally make it but they called upto this figure) and unfortunately got just the 3 callers none of which were the blinds the flop came a fairly safe 334dd and I continued the lead for 4600 getting called only by my friend Andrea the turn was a black Q and I checked to give him a chance to bluff but he checked it back and the river was the  Ks to house us up and he called off8k  (probs too small) to send us over starting stack and average for the first time that day.

Nothing of note happened in the final level of the day apart from me value towning myself with  8s Js on an A8249 runout losing to A10 from the bb and we bagged up 54800 at the end of day1

Part 2

We had a redraw and lost 4500 early BvB after we flop tp bad kicker and bet turn and call river losing to the SB rivered flush before we win some chips when a loose young guy from Belgium raises to 2400 at 6/1200/150 and a short stack makes it 7400 from 17400 and we find  Ad Qd in the SB and I felt than 4b calling here was better than jamming here as the shortie is never folding and a 50k jam looks redic so 4b and the Belgie folds and shortie calls obv and we are on the backs with shortie having  Th Ts before any cards were dealt the young guy declare I had the same hand as you and I said "It's not gonna change what cards come out but you know it's bad etiquette to say that yeah" to which he just nods and the poker gods find a Queen on the river to move us forward.

Next hand we raise the btn to 2400 with  7s Ks and the sb 3b's to 5500 which we peel and on a  8c 9c Js he leads for 6200 but never looks comfy so I 3b the flop to 14100 and he snap folds, 4 hands later we find 88 on the btn and lose a smallish pot to another rivered backdoor flush to move back to 65500 with the average at 70k.

We lost another pot sending us down to 56k then an older guy raises utg2 to 3k at 6/12/150 and we 3bet to 7400 next to act with  Ac Qd which he calls and we flop AJQss and he checks to us so fire 6800 hoping to see no paint and a red 8 turns up he again checks so bet 14k to set up a river shove on non spade or paint river and after he calls we see a  Jd which he again checks very quickly and having played with him for a few hours know he never checks back his made hands or any J combo's so am fairly confident in my read and bet my last chips with and he calls after a dwell with AK giving us the double through to 112k.

At 8/1600 we move to 197500 when we flop the house with 99 on 933 and after the BB chks we chk back and min  raise his turn donk when the 7 rolled off to see the 5 river and he bet 12k with about 55k back so just jam and he snaps me off having rivered a smaller FH with 55.  I then got incredibly lucky to move to the heady heights of 277500 when peeled an utg raise with  9h Th after the sb made up also from the BB and saw a  Td 8d 5d and C/C 10k from the OR the turn was a  6c and had already decided to chk jam if he bet again which he did and he snapped me with  Ac Ad but binked a  9s to have 277500 at dinner.

"SPEW 1"
I had this feeling of invincibility but also was by far the most active on the table and had an image  Railtard would be proud of but with less skill obv and when a guy wearing a green fluffy wig who left the table every 5mins to get another pint or to go to the loo raised in mid pos and the btn peeled I took a look at the flop with  5c 5d and we saw a flop of KK3 and check called a bet with a plan to check raise the turn if it was non paint and when he continued the lead I continued with my plan and set him in figuring I can get him to put down everything bar AA or AK/KQ  or other FH combos as he would still have enough back but unfortunately his chips beat mine in to the pot andI didnt get there otr vs his AK so I sheepishly waited for another good spot and now had 120k at 1500/3000/400 with 25 left and an average of 152k.

I received a full double through after finding AA and raising in early pos to be flatted by Vinny otb and Elaine a lovely older lady for whom headphones were designed for 3bet me from the small blind and I flatted hoping Vinny may try to squeeze us out or leaving us the option of raising all in her 100% gtd  cbet which came on a 9Q2 board and we held vs her KK to get back to 230k with the avg at 158k.

"Spew 2"
By now a nice Argentinian young guy who looked a bit like JP Kelly was sat to my right and had already shown the ability to fold a big hand but we had already had a few battles when at 3/6000/600 he raised the button to 12k and I 3b  Ahrt 9h to 28500 again with the plan to 5b if he min 4b as stack sizes would dictate the play but he just flatted and we saw a  8h Qd 5s and I lead for just under half pot and he clicked it back which looked weak and still gave a chance to get a jam through but he snapped  with a set of 8's and we were left with 7bbs.

I still felt confident enough to let the blinds go through me due to my lack of paint or suited cards received  and then shoved 45cc in mid pos and a guy snap calls behind for 1/2 his stack with A8o leaving one of the blinds a decision who folded a hand that would have beaten mine but we got there on a run out of QK7cc 2 5 to get to 60k.

With the blinds about to go up again I decided I was jamming utg without looking as we were just about to go to 4/8k and after the "fake look" pushed all in for 55k and the SB called then the BB jammed and the Italian guy from my first table on day one called off his remianing stack with 44 and we were both behind to JP Kelly lookalike KK but Andrea flopped a 4 and that was it for us unfortunately!

I was pretty devo'd by the 2 hands I lost loadsa chips with as if in hand 1 I was saying in my head "no set and we dont lose anymore" but then tried to outplay a guy with the nuts and after a double back through I then proceeded to do the same again, I suppose I am slightly unlucky that they both have the absolute top of their ranges both times and that many other combos get the desired folds but still feel I owe an apology to my investors as I am 100% certains that without the first hand I receive an even bigger through in the AA vs KK hand as Elaine still had 130k back after doubling me through so would have had over 500k which would have been a FT stack and would have defo influenced how I then played the A9hh hand but feel my poor decision making cost us a minimum £1000 and opportunity for more.

So sorry guys and we now have £450 left out of the initial stake fund and our next tournies are
21st July £100 entry to day1 a of DTD Grand Prix and if required entry to Day 1b which is the 22nd July in this 200k euro tourney and will reserve the option to re-enter either day if required.

If we still have £££ left over or if everyone wants a final spin I will play the August deepstack which is £200 + £25 and may require a small amount of re-commitment from investors to top up dependant on what we have left over.

I raise the button with  7d Td which was folded to me about 90% of the time but unfortuantely a bloke who resembled a bigger version of Bobalike had sat down and defended his bb with a 3b after declaring "dont do it, dont do it" and after i count out a 4b I elect to fold as didnt need to be cock waving with him at that stage and he bellows "that's what you do with J2"  ;)

Seems quite an international field for a game in Plymouth  :)
You would think so!

The Belgium guy was a poker 770 pro and all badged up but Vinny Herbertmobbed him and you would not have been impressed mate!

Driving up to DTD in about an hour for the £100 Grand Prix 200k euro.

We are firing just 2 bullets at this if required as need to be back down south tomorrow so will re-enter today if needed which if the full £200 is used leaves £250 in the kitty and enough for the August Deepstack in 2 weekends time**

**I actually shipped a satellite last night to this when there was an overlay which entitles me to a golden chip so in the interests of transparency if we are uber lucky enough to WIN (final table does not count for deepstacks) outright I get a CPP package which WILL roll over any percentages for stakers.

Will post updates from today later on!

Are you playing all the online sats with stake money or out of your own sky rocket. Nice gesture to give everyone that extra CPP shot but would they really expect that.

Did you manage to get any grand prix golden chips

Only play them if value or 10 seats so with 1/6 getting a seat yday it was worth a spin.
I play them on own dime and as Flushy/Dylan/Dubai & Tikay were good enough to give me a spin initially and the event in question is on the stake it is only fair imo.
Imagine the grief I would get off Keys if I somehow won the event in August and never said anything!!!

Anyway I'm a million!

Very good thank you, I think we were very lucky that we have a really good boy (so far) and Petra is amazing!!

They are both in Slovakia at the moment for 10 days seeing her family which gives her a little break and me a chance to do that list of jobs around the house she left me qualify for Saturday.

DAY 1 GRAND PRIX TOURNEY REPORT

Well I had planned on just playing Saturday and after falling short I needed to be back down in Essex Sunday morning as needed to do a couple of hours in the office but being the sicko I am decided to drive back up to Notts and play the Sunday 1b option as well as a final shot at this event due to the likelyhood of a big overlay.

I chipped up to 24k from 15k fairly quickly in a series of small pots and one where I raised utg at 25/50 to 150 with  4s 5s and get flatted in 5 spots and we see a  Jc Kd 6h board and after a 1/2 pot cbet I have thinned the field to 4 and we see a turn of  Qs which I check with the intention of giving up obv but it checks around and we see the nut card for me imo with the Tc so I take a stab betting just over half pot and everyone folds with Wadey declaring he folds a set but the very next hand I get moved to another table.

This new table was ok and the players were quite tight so it gave me the opportunity to be table captain and I got a guy to gift me his chips when he raises UTG  and we have  7d 7h and flat as although I dont love flatting, the villain is UTG and will defo peel plus there was a shortie in the blinds so if he shoves and UTG 4b's then I can get out of the way. We saw a  7c Td 2h flop and the villain leads for 2/3 pot and we just flat and on the  3h turn he jams for 1.5x pot drawing dead with  Ad 8d and we are up to 50k.

A steady few levels before another table change and we get another oppo to gift us some chips when having not played a hand for 40mins on my new table, Chinese Simon flats at 500/1000 from the Hi-jack and brings along the co and we iso to 3200 with  3d 3s otb and both come along for the ride   we flop another set on  Ahrt 3c 2h and after both players check we continue the lead for 4200 with just Simon calling, the turn houses us up with the  2s and I decide checking is the best option against this villain to give him a chance to bluff the river and when the  7s rolls off he bets 5500 and we dwell and then after a minute or so ship the rest of our betting discs forward and he snaps with 2/7 for the underfull and probably wishing he had not chosen to call a raise oop with his hand.

Going into the last 2 levels I had chiopped up steadily to 125k when I receive my final table break and we were down to 3 tables so as I sat down I got the obligatory "Welcome to the table" hand after posting my BB when I received the rather pleasant "BOOTS" and after a min raise from Frank Flanagan an older gentleman I just over min 3b to 14k at 1500/3000 over his 6k open and am delighted when after a short dwell he anounces all in and moves forward 100k and he immediately says "ooopps" sheepishly turning over KJo we need to swerve the Tenball on a Q93 flop but as my good friend Dubai says "it's 2012 so we all win" and we move to 225k with one level remaining.

The final level was a case of just min raising all the people who had locked up for the day to maintain our possy and bagged up 240k going back Saturday starting at 3pm with the blinds going 2500/5000/500

Bust the GP unfortunately guys in 169th for £170

We lost 2 sets of blinds as the shorties just jammed or rejammed and we found nothing then after 35mins mp open jams for 152k at 2500/5000/500 and were in the big blind with 2red jacks and call it off but he had QQ and we didnt get there.
Next orbit after blinds have gone through us it folds to us in the co and we jam 60k with A5ss getting snapped by the bb who covers us and dominates us with AKo

Our final tourney of the stake is the £200 here next weekend and I'm playing Saturday 1b

current kitty £170

I have really enjoyed it as well and feel I have in a weird way played very differently than if it was all my own money.
*note to self, must take care of the pounds!!

Fingers crossed we get a deep run next weekend ;)

DTD Tournament Report

I had a ok starting table with Liam Batey having immediate position on me and Thewy on the table as well and a couple of aggro spots and being dealt a succession of 2/9 8/3 7/4 combos meant we could stay out of the way in the early exchanges whilst watching people move chips back and forwards pre-antes with a variety of different holdings and didnt play a hand of note until the blinds were at 250/500/50 by which time George2loose had joined the fun and we were dealt  Aspades Ad and raised to 1125 which just got the 4 callers and we see a flop of   Kd 4h 7s which the BB checks and I cbet 2800 which gets flatted to my immediate left and after 2 folds the short stack from the BB goes all in for 14k total, I re-jam and after a dwell and an ask for the "pot to be spread" the chap to my right calls off with  5h 6h and the BB had  Qc Kc the dealer dealt a sweatastic  Ahrt on the turn and the  Jc otr meant we more than double up to 68k.

With G2L on the table I know he is going to be opening loads of pots and that he would defo make life difficult for me by 3/4 b'ing me when I open early so tried to stay out of his way as much as I could but we played a couple of interesting hands where he opened utg to 1300 @ 3/600 (which he had on the last 3 occasions) and after 2 less experienced oppos had flatted I 3b the co to 4275 with  Td Qd, G2L flats and we see a flop of  3c 7d 8h  G2L ck we cbet 6350 into circa 13000 and he flats again so now know he has something and the dealer rolls of the  2d which whilst being about 7 spots lower than the diamond we wanted gave us a chance and after he checked I felt that taking the free card is the best option as if he now CR us our stack sizes are very awkward and were only drawing to the flush. The river was the  Ac and George chks again so I fired out 11600 but am repping a fairly thin line of AA/AK and G2L sigh flicked in the call with QQ but overall I am happy with my line.

I now had to sit tight as had 40bigs and no cards and the next forward movement we made was at 1/2k where I receive a double through after the chap to my left received AA to knock out Liam the very next hand I find  9d 9c utg2 and make it 2200 and whilst still stacking his chips the gentleman just over min3b's to 4800 so we flat the extra 2600 from a 50k stack and see the flop of  9h Th 4c and donk lead 5300 which gets met with a raise to 16k after a short pause we announce allin and he snaps with  Ahrt Ad and after a heart sweat on the turn we move over 100k with the average at 56k.

I had played a further couple of pots with G2L where he won either pre or the other pot where we saw a flop  and I folded the river with  Jh Qh on a  Kh Tc 6s 4c runout and we missed the riverwith the action going me raise pre G2L 3b we flat oop flop George bets we flat and then small donk lead the turn looking for a cheap river but miss and ck ck losing to 88 but we got back a lot of those chips and some when again we found 99 and raise to 3500 at 8/1600 from about 110k which gets met by the now obligatory 3b from G2L to 8200 but this time he was in the SB so give him a bit more credit and had already got a plan for the hand to make a small 4b and if he 5b's again likely to be small this will leave us some options and a 6b from me is going to look vvv strong as despite looks I am a few years older than G2L  ;) and the rest of the hand played out with me 4 b'ing to 18700, him 5b'ing to 29100 and then a final and committing 6b from me to 53500 and winning the pot and George folding A2 or something.

With 2 levels of the day left a having raise folded a couple of times we were back down to 116k when we sadly departed this event after finding AK utg and making it 6200 at 15/3000 G2L again 3b's the btn to 13500 and Nirvana (hero) 4b's from the BB which depsite him being nearly 85 does not mean he always has a hand, however after discussing the hand with G2L he is also not aware of mine and his dynamic but is defo aware in game of the fact that G2L is going to light alot her and 4b's to 32000 and with the action back to me I have a fold or shove option and chose the latter with George snap folding and Glen snap calling with Aces and we lost a big pot that would have given us a chance for day2.  I think this hand is fairly close and driving down the M1 again felt I could have found the fold and just not told anyone but in-game is so different.

Will wait to hear from Tikay and Dylan but am pretty sure Dubai and Flushy are Gambling!

Thanks for the stake guys it has been very very interesting!

Loved this from start to finish, Rich, great fun, so yes, please, I owe you £39 & we go for the DTD £500.

Shall I send by Bank TX?
Bank would be great thanks Tikay lmk if you need the details again.
Had text from Dubai and obv they are in so just need Dylan in the team again.

SENT by Bank TX.

I have sent £78, not £39. I know Dyl wil want in, but he does not get on blonde every day, so I've paid on his behalf, too, & he can settle up with me whenever. If by chance he does not want it, I'll take it.

That's All Folks

The £500 was the final event on the never ending package and I late regged having had a hellish day on the roads at 250/500 but with 50k s/s it was fine but then proceeded to lose 3 hands with Pairs in pos to spin me down to 27k 30 mins later on my first break so then I had to nit it up a bit and make sure the hands played were meaningfull and I got the opportunity at 4/800/100 when "Local Anon" raised to 2100 otb and we find  Qc Qd in the bb and 3b to 4700 which he snap calls and we see a flop of  Qs Jc 5h, now the villain in question has not folded many hands all day and is sitting on over 100k at the start of the hand and I had noticed that to most small cbets he put in a chunky rr so I fired 4900 and after some umming and ahhing and asking the delaer to spread the pot he folded  :( and we had 34k at the end of level 8.

I managed to get above ss for the first time when I received a full double through to 62k with KK vs AJ all in on a flop of  Jh Td 3s and as reported despite an antirail from Celtic and Kinboshi we held and we were back in the game, unfortunately I had to 4b fold in awhat looked like a great spot for one of the blinds to 3b a lp open from me after the btn flatted which dented us backwards to 44k at 500/1000 and then in the next level I handed a full double to 2 players in the same hand when CF who had just lost a pot and was now down to 7200 open shipped UTG and I find 33 next to act and knowing that Charles is likely to be very wide here rejam 18bbs and am not loving life when the co calls AI for 23k total and flips 77 with CF holding AQo who triples through with the co getting the other 16k and I am down to 9bigs.

The blinds went through me and then I couldnt find any 2 cards close to jam with and after folding utg1 I decided it was either jam UTG without looking or be forced to call allin from the bb the hand after and took the former option so after a fake look shipped the 6bb's and get 3b by the btn with both blinds folding and I peek at the first card which is the  Qh but was sadly followed by an offsuit 3 and we dont get there vs JJ.

So that's it my first package done and dusted and a decent profit for all with a few sweats along the way so thanks to Tikay/Dylan/Demps and Dubai for the stake and if any of you guys are interested when I come back from hols early oct I will most likely be putting together a similar staked package for a few live events to the end of the year as with Petra pregnant again I need to be tight with my BR so if any of you guys are interest again pls pm me and I shall give you guys first option but if not no worries and thanks again for the opportunity.

Thanks Rich, I've really enjoyed this stake, & had a bundle of fun, & you've been great, keeping us updated & everything.

As to your last para, all things being equal (you never know, I might go skinto, or the Umpire might signal Close of Play earlier than hoped) I'd definitely take up the option if offered, please.

Yeah a model example of how to do a staking thread, in terms of communication, how you deal with things....and winning.  I'll def take a piece next time if I am quick enough and the balla crew of Dubai, Flusy and Gramps don't rest instantly

Thanks for taking Vinny home as well yesterday, I had an early meeting and it was really appreciated....wasn't in the mood to hang around and socailise.
