Title: DTD software question.
Post by: RED-DOG on May 01, 2012, 02:27:40 PM
I've been playing on DTD quite a bit lately and I'm glad to say that it's improved no end. It's still not the worlds best, but very playable now. (Similar playing experience to the old Tribeca software imo).

One aspect I am having trouble with is seeing someone's cards if they call and lose. I click the 'instant replay' button, but it shows me a hand from last month.

Is there any way to quickly check what he mucked?

Conclusion:

A: No one knows.

B: No one cares.

C: Everyone hates me.

you could use the chat box to ask what he mucked. this is probably more efficient and accurate than doing anything using the dtd software

Oh I don't know. The software seems pretty good at helping to support the forum.

Surely if they call and lose their cards aren't displayed anyway unless they've opted to show?

Not necessarily Matt. On most sites if you tick 'Muck losing hands' they are mucked, but you can see them by looking at the hh.

Just been to check for ya and yep - 'instant hand replay' button on the top left hand side should be the one.  I clicked on it and it showed the last hand I played there.  It was the hand where the man with the dog knocked me out of last night's league game.    ;nemesis;

I'm nearly certain it shows mucked cards during a tourney.  Have it in my head I've looked there in the past, but the brain is a bit foggy atm.  Check the date info at the top left of the instant hand pop up?

Yes. It worked for me at first. but now it shows a hand from last night by default. I have to change the date and then enter the correct game type and then find the particular hand I want to see.

I just want to go straight to the last one I played.

The arrows in the bottom right corner give the option of 'first hand' or 'last hand'. Try that.

Hi REDDOG,
In case if you havent got an answer to your question regarding how to see the previous hand if they called and lost, you can check it via Hand history.
Go to the Support Tab > Click hand History > select the Classic and say OK > you will be shown all the hands you had played and it should show the other players card when he called the RIVER and lost!
Hope it helps.

My instant replay works fine, if not go to Support from Lobby, then Hand History and click Classic instead of replay! you can then read the text or look at the images!

There is too many faults on Boss Media in general.

The main one for me is that you can't see an opponents cards (who is sat in far left seat) in a 5 way SNG. I have comaplined and complained about this, but all I ever get is "it's sorted in next update" and yet, it's still not sorted.

As for DTD, the bonuses are poor and customer service is terrible. I only ever play satillites on DTD and now I don't even bother do to the error listed above.

Sigh, definite improvement needed software and customer service wise.

Is it because the text box covers the cards? If so, you can close it, or just drag it to a different position.

Nope, not that.

It's the roulette and BJ icons that block you from seeing one of opponents cards. They have already told me they can't do anything about it, it's just very annoying to be fair.

How is the customer service terrible? In my experience its light years ahead of many others, including face to face help at the club.

Customer Service is spot on imo
He is just stirring it up. Let him get on with it.

Oh shut up Jason, anything to have a dig.

The customer service is terrible in my view, some agree, some don't. Online it's terrible customer service, at the club it's fantastic.

As for DTD, the bonuses are poor and customer service is terrible.

You will find online it's very often the same girls like Maria answering you queries. No one agrees with you. Their service is excellent

Nope, not that.

It's the roulette and BJ icons that block you from seeing one of opponents cards. They have already told me they can't do anything about it, it's just very annoying to be fair.

You can remove those buttons.

Online and live might be the same, but it doesn't mean they offer the same customer service does it?

They are unable to help me online and the staff seems a bit too biased in regards to certain stuff.

And also, you can't remove the button, I have already asked. I add that they told me it was going to be in the next update, but never was.

What do you want sorting. Approach them with the right attitude instead of slagging em off and I'm sure they will help you out. They have sorted loads of people out with problems such as regging, sorting accounts out, crediting fpp's, transfering seats etc, etc. you are the only person I have heard have a go at em.

Jason, I am not here to lick arse, I'll say it as I see it.

I find DTD (online) terrible.

- I got told that the card thing would be sorted in next update, it wasn't.
- Everything I get told by the staff there is very brief, not very informative
- Biased views. I was told that the FPP scheme is one of best bonuses for players, it is in fact, terrible.
- FPP adding takes ages to be added on, all bonuses I get from poker sites is added on pretty much instantly.

There are a few more.

Like I said, just a few points I don't like about DTD.

What's your alias on there? Software issues are not something that Dtd have a lot of say over. Who told you the fpp scheme was one of the best?

So you don't want to be helped then. Don't think I pick on you all the time, some stuff you come up with is worth listening to but when you wanna slag off players or people doing their jobs then you have to validate it instead of just spouting drivel. I don't need to tell you that Dtd are the nut best club in the uk ainec and although I accept the site ain't Pokerstars it is something we have to put up with in the short term. They are aware of the short comings and will address the problems as soon as us possible

All my points are valid though.

DTD poker room is absolute brilliant and I never have said any different, but sometimes like said the online customer service is not as good as I would expect.

"It's the roulette and BJ icons that block you from seeing one of opponents cards. They have already told me they can't do anything about it, it's just very annoying to be fair."

Well apparently this has been fixed

I had a £20 spin on DTD this morning and it seems the problem I mentioned had been fixed, but I am not 100% sure of this as I played on a 10 ring. I looked on a 5 ring and there was still slight issues in my view, but until I play on it, I still can't be sure.

Just played on a 6 ring and the setup looks like they have moved the players round so seats 1 and 6 are just over halfway, nothing intruded the view.
