Hi guys/ladies,

Im looking forward to getting everyone together for the first time since DTD and BP agreed a 2 year deal.

One favour please... could you PM Tighty or post on here if you are playing the event -  so he can keep the list of player numbers up to date so the kitchen can get the buffet numbers right and Danny can rota the correct amount of dealers for the comp for 5pm.

The Golden "Blonde" Chip thing should be fun, if we qualify 1 seat a night that should be around 25 players - if you win 2 seats, your re-entry golden chip/seat comes into play. The tourney is €50 + 1 Re-Entry Only.

It will be certainly be interesting who the winning 5 players choose to play, either me or Simon. The heads - up £1k contests will use my standard format that i've used over the last few years, 15,000 chips, blinds start at 25-50 (200 BB) and then 50-100, 75-150, 100-200, 150-300, 200-400, 250-500 with a 15 minute clock, these take between 5 minutes (!) and 2 hours, average is about an hour based on previous experience. In the event of a long duel, the blinds do not go higher than 250-500 so that leaves the 2 opponents a min of 30 BB avg, although my HU contests rarely get to this point. If you cannot play your HU Challenge Sunday, we can arrange a mutually beneficial date, maybe we could stream a couple of them if the player would like this.

For the Blondeites that don't want to miss out on the £150 Deepstack that weekend (had a couple of people ask me tonight) but want to also play the Blondebash, just play Friday Day 1a and then you have a free Saturday to play the Blonde event :)

Those two are right next door to each other and have been the main hub for previous gatherings.  About 5 minutes from DTD in a taxi.  Holiday Inn allows late resident's bar.  We've tested this once or twice and they're really good about it. 

The Holiday Inn appears to be cheaper without using the DTD rate?

And the saver rates appear to be more expensive than the standard ones. This is confusing lol. I'm just gonna book with the standard..

Anybody know if there is an issue with the DTD software. I played in the 8pm satellite tonight, got heads up and the tournament went to break. When break was over the table froze for a minute or so and then simply disappeared, I was still logged in but was only able to see the main lobby and by the time I had located the tournament I was out! Very frustrating!

Ouch. I was unaware there was an issue. At least it happened HU when you had 40 euros to fall back on

I will ask DTD if there was a general issue

Same happened with me although i was already out. Table just disappeared when there was 3 left and it wouldn't let me back on to watch.

I have DTD support investigating whether it was a general issue. Once I know, we'll go from there, Chip Chik.

FFS Warren you are a right luckbox. Golden chip is useless anyway as you are too much of a luckbox to get knocked out to start with to need a second one.

I think DTD/blonde should provide a shot for everyone at the start of the tournament. You're not allowed cards until you have drank it and ordered another alcoholic beverage.

Those with cars have to bring in a note from their parents to get out of it and be allowed to play.

Golden Chip Satellites will run tonight and tomorrow night

Golden Chips will be automatically entered onto the tournament system. If you arrive, not entered, please let me know on Saturday afternoon

There won't be physical golden chips handed out, but I will bring a list!
