Title: Re: down under Post by: Ruru on January 15, 2006, 09:25:58 AM G'day all. Few chipcounts from the betfair gang in the main event
Burnley John 58k, bybow 30k (bluffed a few pots from Hachem, just for the bragging rights I'm sure), Duffs 27k, ariston 28k, Buzzer 32k, fishfryer 11k, goodgirl 47k, Benno B 24k, gulltann 20k, Bennyboi 20k (having been down to 7k after playing K2 in the BB, flop 22K, turn A, river A) Down to about 300 players now, this is the last level of the evening, blinds on 50/250/500. Might try to sneak into the tennis players' party after this ;) Might try the old "I'm with the band" routine. Title: Re: down under Post by: ariston on January 15, 2006, 12:58:59 PM Dont know all the chip counts for blondites but I have 40k and change and burnley has the same. Womble has 18k after being as low as 1600 at one stage. He managed to get up as high as 36k before losing half his stack on the last hand of the day with KK. I havent been allin all day and apart from the KK on the first hand of the tournement (lost 5k to A3 with an ace on the river) its been easy sailing. Will let you know how many we all have at the end of day 2 in about 24 hours.

chubbs Title: Re: down under Post by: ariston on January 16, 2006, 08:46:07 AM Womble gon after getting qq beaten by Kj both making fullhouses. John gone after his 45 looked good enough for his 60k on a flop of 456- wasnt as good as the other guys 78 unfortunately. I went last off the feature table with 72 allin no look v joe hachems k6- flopped a 2 but he rived a 6. The damage was done to me by a4spades which hit running spades for a 70k pot though. Flights changed and I'm on my way home.

Title: Re: down under Post by: Exorcism on January 18, 2006, 04:49:59 PM Day 4 play summarised here:
http://uk.pokernews.com/news/2006/1/aussie-millions-final.htm Last 7 to play to a finish tomorrow, no Brits in sight! :o at this all-in hand described, that knocked Kenna James out: Ac Kc versus Qs Qh Flop comes down: Qc Qd Tc Quads v Royal Flush draw. Don't see that too often - even on-line! Title: Re: down under Post by: Exorcism on January 19, 2006, 01:10:37 PM It's all over and New Zealand's Lee Nelson, an experienced campaigner, took the spoils and is Aussie Millions champ 2006:
