GL to all Blondes and BRS players as well.

Updates are hard hard work. When you do your first couple you are walking in the shadow of the mighty Tighty and it can leave you feeling your work is a little lacking in comparison. However your own style soon settles and you realise everyone reading appreciates each individual style of updates, as it would be pretty boring if every update was always the same.

I've worked with Jon a few times and he's pretty good: in fact, he's great. So show your appreciation please guys!! Believe me, it does make a difference to get a few "thank you and great updates".

PS I'm at DTD for the Chip Leader doing the updates, so save a few nice comments for then!

PPS. Who is Tal and why does he spend his weekends at DTD sitting in the bar doing (very) sporadic, unrequested updates? Is he your work experience bitch Jon?

Tal is an Elf who lives in the bins in the DTD car park playing Chess and devising strategies to bet Strictly Come Dancing

He's so mysterious that he managed to post at DTD for 12 hours and not even get spotted by Jonathan or introduce hmself to him!

+1 as to Jonathan. 400 runner days, in fact any 16 level day is tough tough tough. Well done that man

Only two more days!

Gl to all Blondes playing today, special mentions to Lutons 6th best player, Nirvana - who I'd love to see go deep as he's just a very funny, top guy.  Also Pez, lilDave, Marky147, AJ, Sunny C and big Mike Hill.

Too much sport and railing action and WCOOP on today, my monitor will explode

I always enjoy a trip back up to DTD and was great to see you all. Special thanks to Rob, Simon, Nick and the team for running such a great place. I think its easy for us to become complacent about what DTD has done for poker...

A quick bit of detail about our chipleader, Mohammed Fassil
He often gets a large stack early on in the Deepstacks, then gets through it quickly
However I understand he's been focussing on his game, talking through hand histories, looking at ways to improve etc.
Be interesting to see how he fares in todays action

GL to all Blonde today. Dont forget, if I deal to you and you run good its all me. If I deal to you and you run bad, I have absolutely no influence on what happpens and I am just a random number generator that uses a deck of cards :)

:(

Great comp, probably the best run tournament I've played and I just didn't get there when I went to flipadelphia at the crucial time.  At least I know Keys will probably put my chips to better use anyway :)

Don't get up here nearly enough with the 5hour drive unfortunately, but I'm going to have to start finding an excuse to as it's too much fun playing here. The Holiday Inn must love random punters flicking in for one more night every morning at 3am when they get back too :D

Thanks very much for the updates to both Tighty,  Jon and all other people helping out. They've been a great read and definitely make the whole thing so much better for everyone railing from home, or even here  ;hattip;

JK has just got back from his round
"it's so boring!"
Only 5 hands before the break, all open/folds

Final hand of the level:

Copus to 25k
Gandhi moves all in for 323k
Gary Jones asks for the count but passes, LilD shows JK  Kd Qd and folds
Copus folds  Ac Qh face up

LilD on 1.5mil going into the break

Lost most my stack raising QQ to 32k at 8k/16k, from early position, someone 3bet to 80k, I set him in for 230k, he called with KTsuited and spiked a King :(

No complaints as I had 80% of my stack in a few hands earlier in similarly bad shape and got there so doesn't hurt too much!

Great comp, loved every second of it - perfect structure, buy-in, everything is just spot on, wp DTD.

And a £400k gtd would've been just as enticing! ;)

Interesting hand between David Williams and James Keys
150k in the middle on  2h 2s 5c
Williams checks, Keys bets 55k. Williams to 125k, call by Keys.
Turn -  Jc
Williams bets 152k, Keys calls
River -  9h
Williams checks, Keys bets 175k, quick call from Williams
Keys -  Aspades Jh
Williams grimaces as he shows  Jd Qh

Nirvana up to 1 million, Gwynne down to 260k
im a novice, but was wondering firstly how you get 482K in pre-flop with AJ with 12/24 blinds and secondly a caller for that amount with AQ. i am i right to pressume there was a pattern of raising and re-raising prior to flop. some of the showdowns appear to be a bit random for such a big tournament
Nirvana gets 482k in pre with  Ad Js
called by the  Ac Qc of Ian Gwynne
flop -  9d 3s 2h
Not over yet sports fans...
turn -  Jc
River -  Jd
Nirvana up to 1 million, Gwynne down to 260k

with apologies to Ian

BOOM!

Glenn lost 900k AK v 77 before that and was down to 250k

Milde 3 bets the button vs Luke Josephs who calls
flop -  6h Kd 5h
Josephs checks, Milde 94k. Jospehs to 200k, Milde flats
turn -  Td
Josephs bets 250k, Milde all in for 550k. Josephs tank folds before walking out the room for a brief moment
900k pot without showdown for Milde

GL to the remaining 16* blondes.

James Browning for the £110k. Failing that, whichever is most likely to be pumping that money back into the blonde poker economy (in plain English, whoever everyone has a piece of!)

Best be off. Those bins won't clean themselves. Elf indeed...

Don't worry, JGill, the others think they've met me but that was just a rouguishly handsome stand-in. They all get lost in my eyes, you see...

David Amos out after that double
Kc Kd vs the  Ad Ac of Lee Taylor
Ace's hold, puts Taylor on over 3mil
Would take a pic, but Nicola has taken the camera I was using, richards camera isn't working and the camera I have, I managed to leave the charger at home whilst it has no battery, nightmare

Thanks once again great posts and work......... Come on taylor

ul Dave... shame mate, wp.

Meanwhile David Amos doubles
3bet 8d 3d pre
Flop is  Td 9d Js
gets it in vs the  Aspades Jc of Mark Elliot
7h is the river, up to 1.1mil

Sigh, such bad play gets rewarded, again!

probably doesn't even get how good the play is with David's image at almost any poker table..

couple that with him being a 53% favourite... and 'bad play' kinda goes out the window.

This puts Belton on 1.5mil

As I walk back I see James Keys eliminating Richie Allen for a 600k pot

when pots so huge im happy to three bet any two cards if it means other player will fold 83 is just irrlevant.could be any two.in fact id do it if id only been dealt one. you also have to factor in three bettors image , his stack size and likelyhood of bluffing.anyway gl richard.

Rastafish is on his rail celebrating, as is his dad as he moves up to about 4.2mil

Met him for the first time today, I'd say no older than 21, a really likeable character
played solid all day, now very excitable unable to sit still

He is! about 700k
he was on by far the quietest table but that has now been broken, so expect there to be more action from those that were on table 11

Keys bust on the last hand of the level
Keys 3bet jams  9d 9c
Cina calls with  8d 8h

We rejoin action tomorrow at 30k/60k/10k
Average 2mil, Taylor definite chip leader on 6mil, Cina and Plater big stacks
Belton still in on about 1.5mil

Full chip counts to come later this evening

Lol... not exactly how it happened:

I had the KK not the J7. He opened the small blind, I 3bet, he flatted. He then open-jammed with top pair on the J85 flop and I called with KK. He briefly went ahead on the turn when he hit a 7... but then the 8 paired on the river to counterfeit him.

Anyway, updates are ace and big thanks for all the effort.

Also big thanks to DTD for putting on such a great tournament. I very rarely play tournaments, but I am really glad I played this one. Great structure and very well run. I really enjoyed myself.

Anyway, thanks so much for doing such a great job of these updates.

That's excellent mate. Met his girl friend at Dtd and any of Boz's mates thinking I wonder if I can get BOZ to take me needs to think again. Unfortunately Eso's Mrs is a babe too so no chance of bumming along there either :)

Best chance I have is passing myself off as one of their kids
