ooo live commentary? Don't mind if i do!

Come and say Hi if you're a Blonde. Come and say hi if you're not a Blonde but fit.

Place filling up rapidly, personally I'm hoping for a slightly faster game than last time - 6am finish was a little harsh.

Two minutes to go, average stack 92K and blinds start at 150/300, 103 Golden Chips in play.

I know I'm not one for long skirts but FM having just seen the valets for the first time I feel considerably overdressed.

I'm going to catch Rob for a quick word, I'm not happy. If there's a dress code for the women, I want IN.

Matt EvilPie is here looking buff as usual, he's on his own today so no "pint per level" like last time.

I'm thinking maybe all Blonde updaters should wear a uniform, so we are easily identified. Anyone got any suggestions to an outfit that would work for both myself and Tighty?

Paul Jackson is in the building, obviously hoping to stay low profile by wearing a normal Tshirt instead of one of his Christmas cardigans.

Paul picked up 3rd here last weekend in the Sky Poker Open. He's like a racehorse.. he prefers a soft field.

Break already! I'm not used to half hour blinds at DTD.

Fifteen levels to play out today, blinds stretch out to 45minutes tomorrow, for the remaining players.

A man has just approached me to thank me for the updates last time.

I detected a hint of irony... so asked him what I had said.

He told me I made a joke about his name, which is Willis Marrow.

You're not telling me in six decades no one has ever made a joke about a name like that.

Here's a photo of the boss for Leethefish.

She says "get the washing in".

Maybe that's a euphamism between the two of you? Or is it simply a public humiliation to make sure everyone knows you know your place?

Either way - Get the washing in big boy.

Wily Willy Marrow pops it up to 1500 UTG.

Button Dan Hunt flats, as does Poker Encore's Raj Dhiri in the SB.

Rob Ward then shoves all in!

Willis finds a fast fold,  but Dan Hunt makes te call for his stack.

Action on Raj, who dwells for absolutely ages and then calls, he still has chips left.

It's a 100K pot, Rob Ward flips over pocket kings, Dan groans and turns over pocket tens.

Raj shrugs and shows AK.

Another Encore player immediately says "Acve King? I've folded that three times"

Raj says he thought Rob might be squeezing, Rob laughs and says "Yeah squeezing with Kings"

Flop runs out Jack high, Kings hold and Dan Hunt is out. Raj still in but short.

Rob Ward even shorter than Raj, but they all look the same size sat down.

Rob on over 100K now.

Mental hand on the mentallis'st table, currently being run (over) by Alan Armitage.

Flop of 7s 10s 9h

Alan bets out 3.5K after raising pre, Steve Vladar makes it 7k, followed by an all in shove by Lee Neville.

Alan "I heart draws" Armitage gets it in, as does Steve.

Steve is well ahead with two pairs, 9c 10c, Lee Neville has 67 for bottom pair and a gut shot, Alan is Queen high.. holding QJ.

Turn is Qh

River is the Kd

Alan scoops the pot with the straight to the King.

He now has - as Jackally puts it - "shed loads of chips.

It's irrellevant giving a chip count at any stage for Al, it can all change in just one hand. If he makes FT I'll start counting then.

I'll find him in a minute, trying to avoid welshmen right now after this embarrassing episode.

I just saw Darren Craven (welsh BRS player) sitting with his back to me in the bar. I've walked up behind him saying "I recognise those big shoulders" only for another man with shot putter shoulders and blonde hair to turn around and look at me blankly. It wasn't Darren, obviously.

Some chip counts for Encore players for The Lad.

Sam Cook (is he even old enough to be here?) on 166K, Darren Craven - the real one - is on 280K, Paul Jackson is on 230K but says he deserves more.

Ricky Jones - who didn't hug me - is on 270K and says he made a bad call with a set of threes when his opponent had a straight. If he's made one bad call, and is still chipped up on 270K when the average is 104K, I think he doesn't need to stress too much just yet.

Poker Encore's Tommy Lawrence makes it 1200 UTG, folds round to John James who announces RAISE in a strong loud voice, and makes it 2400.

Tommy calls.

Flop is 2 7 7

Tommy checks and John again uses his best National Lottery voice to announce "2500".

Tommy says nothing and calls.

Turn is another 7, Tommy checks, Alan Dedicoat announces 7500, still sounding confident, to which Tommy again silently calls.

River is a 10, Tommy checks and John opens his mouth, pauses and quietly says "check".

Tommy tables pocket nines, John silently mucks.

Tommy Lawrence now on about 285K.

Poker Encore's Darren Craven on nearly 400K now, after inflicting a bad beat on someone, holding the mighty duece four.

 Internet Kidz hey.

Here's one for Jon Gill...

Simon Trumper wakes up to defend his BB after a raise from the cut off. SB calls, as does Simon with K 7.

Manna from heaven on the flop, as it comes 7 3 7.

Simon bets out, 2.5K, cut off makes it 5K, Simon flats.

Turn is a king! Simon bets 6k this time, cut off makes it 15K, Simon then raises all in and gets a call!

Simon shows his full house, and the cut off visibly pales and flips ... 10 7, obviously convinced he has flopped world and is getting paid, only to find himself taking the walk to the rail instead.

Darren Murphy has been pretty busy on Matt Russell's table, raising every hand in position, so much so that when it folds round to him on the cut-off and he folds there is an audible gasp from the other players.

Fidel Burton, Castro's brother, takes full advantage and raises the button: Matt Russell ships his 9K over the line and tells Fidel he has looked at only one card, and it wasn't an Ace!

Fidel obliges with a call, for Matt to flip over Kd 5d, Fidel says "you're ahead" and shows Q 10.

Queen on the flop, middle pin for Matt but he doesn't get there.

Currently on his phone drumming up a posse for a night out.

10 7, obviously convinced he has flopped world and is getting paid, only to find himself taking the walk to the rail instead.

ah!

The deal was if he makes Day 2 I'll play him before Day 2 begins, otherwise I'll play it later on in the day

I suspect I'll be playing him early Sunday then  ;sleep;

Mo Ishtakar and Kourosh in a hand. I only got there on the river of a board reading Kh 5c As Qs 6c

Mo has checked to Kourosh on his right, who has then bet 37K.

Mo raised all in for 99K total.

Kourosh thinks for ages and ages, so much so that another player calls the clock.

Kourosh acknowledges the clock and sits for another 40 seconds before folding a set of fives.

Mo says "Good fold" and shows Js 10s for the stone cold nuts.

Another player not in the hand then asks Kourosh why he didn't bet his set on the flop. Armchair poker players, always commentating, never winning.

Paul Jackson just lost a 190K pot holding pocket Queens on a ten high flop.

Matt Miners on his left likes his sevens too much to lose them and then gets it all in on the turn, with a gutshot, board reads 5 6 10 4.

Fortune favours the brave.. river is an 8 to give him his straight and the pot.

Paul still on average stack but currently steaming.

Martyn Brown reraises Paul Jackson's initial bet, although he didnt actually see Paul had raised to start with. So after announcing raise, but raising less than Paul had already bet, he had to min raise.

Dewi James then shoves all in for 23K, Paul Jackson flat called.

Dewi gulps - he knows he's in trouble with Paul's flat call: Martyn spots the warning signs as well, and finds a fold holding pocket Queens!

Dewi turns over pocket jacks and sure enough, he behind to Paul's pocket rockets.

Aces hold on the flop then turn a set to seal the deal.

Dewi James is out. Matt Russell's made up as he now has a drinking partner.

Chip leaders at the start of play were BRS players Ricky Jones and Pete Mccann, along with Chris Goodson, Nigel Lee, Harish Sahnan, Stuart Fox and Huge Black.

All chip leaders reached the cap of 300K.

Eso Kral wasn't far behind with nearly 250K, same for Paul & Ben Jackson and Darren Craven.

Wadey calls a raise on the button, as does the BB, Peter Haslam.

They see a rainbow flop of 2 J 5.

Both players check to Wadey who puts in a bet, called by Pete: original raiser then raises to 25K.

Wadey takes a good long look at Pete in the BB and folds.

Peter looks steadily at the flop and says "Call".

Turn is 4. Pete checks, OR bets 25K again.

Pete flat calls.

River is a 10. Pretty non scary board, Pete checks and OR makes it 50K.

Pete sits for ages and then picks up his chips... and flat calls, to show a set of fives.

The other player grimaces as soon as he calls and mucks.

At the risk of sounding like Tom Langley here, I'm not sure he extracted maximum value from this hand.

Wadey says "I knew you had fives"

Peter says "I thought everyone knew I had fives. I was scared of pocket Jacks"

For once, Wadey says nothing.

Alan Armitage well known for enjoying a drink or 37 after most poker tournys.

He's on medication at the moment and can't drink, so is on water.

He's just wandered past me like a lost soul muttering "How can I have a headache? I never get a headache, and the one time I'm drinking water I get a headache?"

Players going back now after the break, into Level 12, Blinds 1K/2K with a 300 ante.

149 players left with an average stack of 138K.

Don't forget DTD are holding a CPP satellite tonight at 8pm.

Six seats GUARANTEED in tonight's game, worth £624 each, into tomorrow's big game, to win a 6K package to the Carribean.

The satellite tonight is £50 entry and wins you a seat worth £200 plus two reloads.. over £600 in total.

There's also an EPO satelliter starts at 7pm, so no excuse to be sitting at home bored!

Funny you should ask..

He just got it all in with 9 10 to see a flop that bore no resemblance to his hand whatesover.

Bookie Basher took him out, I said "unlucky" to Simon, who refreshingly said

"Well not really, I got it in behind and stayed behind"

Eso Kral is on 253K right now.

Sean Randall on 400K after scooping a monster pot, which I completely missed.

Pete the Bandit is here and tells me he has chickenshit, which I'm assuming refers to the size of his short stack, rather than something he has ordered to eat.

Ross Patman on 70K, which may not sound great but compared to the 30K he started with, it's a massive improvement.

Just went to have a look what was happening on Wadey's table.

Amjad Mohammed, a very regular face at DTD is on his table and I commented how I don't often see him in any comps I update. He tells me he has the record for playing the most tournaments at DTD out of all of the other members.

Without thinking I said "I'm only usually here for the last days of any comp so that's probably why I never see you playing"

I think I may have upset him.

He's actually just taken down a nice little pot preflop, when Darren Craven limped in and Frankie made it 22K. Folds round to Darren who makes it 45.5K.

Frankie thinks for a minute and then makes it 63K.

Darren snap folds and says nice hand.

Twenty minute break after this level ends.

Neil Jakally Giblin tells me he hasn't played a hand for four levels.

I walk away to watch another table and hear "Seat Open" and turn to see him walking away.

Chip leaders are definitely Poker Encore players Tommy Lawrence and Pete McCann, both on about 650K.

Kourosh, also with Encore, on 381K now. I'll resist temptation to use his thumbs up picture again.

Simon Trumper on 110K - looking more favourable for Jon McGill to get his heads up game tomorrow, unless Simon finds a double up soon.

Average stack now 211, 815, Blinds 2500/5000K with a 500 ante.

LOL I was just going through the starting Blondes to try and level it up a bit! It's difficult to be sure I've matched the correct online name to the right player name without identifying them, but I'm pretty sure a few of the Blondes on the list didn't bother turning up.

Remaining Blondes that I can see include Richard Blacklock, Dan Brook,  McArthur, Amjad, Ross Patman and Frankie.

Ouch.

H from Blonde, Hugh Black raises on the button, Kourosh 3 bets him, Hugh thinks for a while then calls.

The flop is Js 2h 9h.

Kourosh bets out 45K from the small blind.

Hugh looks at Kourosh's stack and picks up his own stack and plonks it over the line.

Kourosh sighs and says "I'm considering spite calling with Ace King here. I've got a backdoor heart draw as well"

As he's thinking, Paul Jackson walks up to see how he's doing. Kourosh tells him he's about to call off with ace high.

Paul says "Beautiful" and walks off. Kourosh takes this as a thumbs up.

He calls for his tournament life.

Hugh has pocket Queens, Kourosh does indeed have As Kh.

Turn is the Jh

River is a King.

Eso Kral - Richard Blacklock is out.

Shoved 15 bigs from the button with KQ to get a call from the SB holding pocket eights.

Queen on the turn, 8 on the river left Rich with just five big blinds.

He got them in with Q8, to run straight into pocket queens- GG.

Paul Jackson ticking along like an old world war II landmine, only older. He's on 200K, which is a lot better than ten minutes ago when he ran a set of threes into a set of sixes which left him with 100K.

Sorry for Encore spam, but a lot of their players are holding most of the chips - it's pretty hard to not mention that!

Early indications look like Wadey cbe our chip leader at the Chip Leader! He's on well over a million chips.

Tommy on about 780K, actual chip counts will be done shortly as we are now finished for the day.

58 players coming back tomorrow to blinds of 8K/16K.

Some of them include tall Karl M, not so tall Paul Jackson, and pretty small James Lowery.

Wadey just lost the lost hand with K 10 vs KQ but is still on 970K.

Chip counts should be up shortly.

Hi Guys. Bear with me because I've never posted before.

Must say I had the privilege of sitting next to Sean for what seemed like 20 hours yesterday and may I just say what I nice guy he is too!!

Sean was flying until 2nd to last hand and I think he flopped top two pair but unknowing to him the dude on his right flopped a straight. Other guy went all in on river and Sean couldn't really get away from it.

Good luck to you guys today!!!
