Title: Re: Winter Wonderland Post by: redarmi on October 21, 2012, 02:09:34 AM No good, gonna freeroll everyone on another 1k at end of stake as didn't play great I thought this was the trip report....longer than I have seen before. Title: Re: Winter Wonderland Post by: Honeybadger on October 28, 2012, 11:27:25 AM No good, gonna freeroll everyone on another 1k at end of stake as didn't play great Just seen this. Whilst I am happy for any freeroll, I really don't think you should do this. When we buy a share in someone we do so knowing that sometimes they are not going to play their best. It is all part of the EV equation. If you turned up drunk or with no sleep for 48 hours then fair enough. But otherwise it is just a different type of variance - sometimes you won't play your best, other times you will be absolutely on your A+ game and will play above yourself. It evens out. If you really want to do something then let us buy a piece of you in a 1k event at 1.0. This is more than enough IMO, and even that is not necessary. Title: Re: Winter Wonderland Post by: claypole on October 28, 2012, 12:36:43 PM Nah - let the degen buy us in again... :)
....I'm obviously joking. I completely agree with Honeybadger, you owe non of us anything on here from a staking perspective; and I really can't believe you played that bad - mind you you did slope off :) See you soon and don't be daft - I just wanted to use that word as I haven't for ages ad makes me feel old Title: Re: Winter Wonderland Post by: SuuPRlim on October 29, 2012, 10:11:20 PM only just seen this, great news that you're coming to the carribean!!!
Title: Re: Winter Wonderland Post by: Dubai on November 08, 2012, 12:54:19 PM Slight hiccup with the Highroller- was supposed to be going for the 700 today but apparently im currently banned from Galas, spoke to Bristol casino yesterday and they seem to think its out of their hands. Have someone working on it, but have a couple of possible alternatives lined up which i will suggest and people can choose to say yes or get their share of highroller sent back if dont play. The event id most like to swap it for I cant seem to find anyone else going, billy no mates!
Title: Re: Winter Wonderland Post by: millidonk on November 08, 2012, 12:56:32 PM If the alternative is roulette in a local bookie count me in.
Cliffs on reason for banning? Title: Re: Winter Wonderland Post by: Dubai on November 08, 2012, 01:06:44 PM Tell u in person only lol- was years ago anyway and been overturned everywhere else including same company casinos that it was in, but apparently ive not been to a Gala since even tho its a different company than the original banning

No word from Bristol so no joy. Not sure what to do- not many tournaments around the same buyin, one possible was WPT Copenhagen but noone else appears to be going. Going to have a proper look and see if can find something suitable, anyone who wants their share for that specific tournament refunded just post. If anyone sees anything suitable just post, anything £2-3k I guess Title: Re: Winter Wonderland Post by: millidonk on November 10, 2012, 10:01:24 AM Take a couple of decent shots online?
