Title: *SOLD OUT* GPS Sheffield Staking - Blonde run good?
Post by: JGill_DTD on October 29, 2012, 10:53:13 AM
I'm wanting to sell 70% of my action at 1.2 in the upcoming £400+£30 GPS Sheffield Main Event (£100k GTD) for Day 1b – Friday 23rd November. I’m now in University at Newcastle, so sadly Dusk Till Dawn is just a little too far away for me to get to!

Details on the event - http://www.gentingpokerseries.com/schedule/leg-5/

I will need the money to be bank transferred so I can buy in online, in order to be eligible for the last longer bet. You will all get shares in this too, dependent on your %.

Therefore;
1% = £5.16
5% = £25.80
10% = £51.60
and so on.

My background:

Played micro MTTs for the past 3 years, been a consistent winning player.
Unlocked on sharkscope to search my online stats - Gil3000 on both Stars and FT (obviously FT from a little while back)
Played in 6 big live events like this one:
Mincashed Notts UKIPT season 2 a year back;
Played Manchester UKIPT season 2, made Day 2, lost a flip to bust as I homed in on the bubble.
Poker 770 a few months back - made day 2, fell short of the money
Finished 4th in the 6 Max UKIPT Side Event
Through Blonde staking I sold action for the £150 DS and did a chop with Rich Blacklock, link to thread here - http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=58010.0
Hendon Mob - http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=188776

After playing Poker770 Simon Deadman said he would be more than happy to give me a reference, who said I played really well as I sat next to him for the entirety of Day 1

I wont be having any 2nd bullets - take that as you may, means I wont be getting it in weak just to re-enter

flame on

Investors so far:

Leatherman – 10% - Paid
Tommy Bingham - 20% - Paid
Peter Thorpe – 5% - Paid
Tim Chung – 10% - Paid
Ceri Rees – 10% - Paid
David3103 - 5% - Paid
Alex Goulder - 5% - Paid

Well done that man.

Decent warm up opportunity at G in Stockton this weekend. 2pm Saturday. £100+£10. 20000 stack (2000 bonus if you reg before it starts), GUKPT structure on a 30 minute clock.

Would be playing myself but have tickets for a show in the evening

Think Gentings have the better rep these days. Personally I wouldn't go into Aspers Newcastle again other than for a UKIPT.

True, but Aspers is a 2 min walk from my bedroom. Can even pop home at every break!

Today I will be updating on Twitter, if at all possible as I only have a laptop to do this due to my phone being the worst, so I expect it will be more of an update at the end of each Day (lets hope there is a "each day").

High morale at 7:45am, may it continue!

sigh, gg, busto in Level 7.

Pretty depressing tourney despite a sick structure.
Never got above starting stack, got into a few 4/5 bet wars, of which i lost 3/3

Eventually went bust with 6.5k at 200/400/25

I open KJ in MP, sb and bb flats.

Flop - 457

All check, turn - J

sb bets, bb flats, I jam, sb folds, bb has 63 and we are dead :(

ty all for the opportunity to play this fantastic eventm shame nothing got running for me.
