Gotta work this weekend Tighty. Can you keep an eye on Mark Mc Gills stack please?

Jackie Scarpino from yesterday plays in our home game. You will have a blast tomorrow night if she gets to final table. She is a cracking lady and loves her poker.

Cheers

Alex

Unfortunately Maria Demetriou has not had a great start

She played a hand against Crimewatch Anon, in the blinds with 3-3 against the button

Flop 3-4-K

She led out and was called

6 turn

She led, was raised to 1,000 and called

river

6

She reached showndown after more betting action and was met by Anon's 6-4 on the button

Fortunately Anon was down to 9,000 in level 1 already so Maria is only down to 19,000 now

Starting with 19000

With Q-Q she makes it 525, is called

Same Anon as before in the big blind makes it 2,500

Maria shoves, knowing Anon to be loosey goosey extraordinaire and playing almost every hand

Is met by Aces

Monster pot at the start of Level 2

I pieced it together from table testimony as people left the card-room on exiting

Julian can correct me if any is wrong

Julian Thew opens to 600 at 100-200

Alex Zacharakis 2,200

In the blinds Albert Sapiano calls

Julian calls

K-Q-7 rainbow

Sapiano checks

Julian bets, two callers

7 turn

Alex Zacharakis checks

Sapiano shoves! Big over-bet with his starting stack at 100-200

Julian over-shoves covering Albert (A-K shown after, and obviously wanting to isolate Al"could have anything"Bert

Alex Zacharakis is holding 7-7 for turned Quads!

Knocks them both out and has 100,000 in Level 2

This man

Mark Holden, was one of multiple limpers, with 7-4

Wadey popped it up to 2,000

and he was the only caller

flop 8-7-7

Holden check calls the flop and deuce turn, leads on the four river and takes 2/3 of Wadey's stack

Jason Herbert huge hand

Multiple limps and he completes in the small blind with  3s 7s

flop  4s 5h 6s

He checks and UTG bets

Greek Jack calls

Tom Langley now makes it 3,100

Jason with the second nuts and a draw heavy board shoves 24,000

UTG passes

Greek Jack thinks and thinks and calls

Langley curses "so sick, **** sick" and folds ( 4d 4h)

Jack  8d 7h for the flopped nuts

Jason has re-draws to spades, but misses turn and river and is out

He opens to 1500 in the cut off

Rob Boon 3 bets in the small blind to 3700

Boon covers Nicholson

Nicholson calls

 6h 7h Qd

Boon 3800 cbet

Nicholson 10,000

Boon folds.

Nicholson, who said last night on twitter that an online session win last night had "won back 1/700th of my year to date losses", is on 75,000

David Nicholson is going steadily

He opens to 1500 in the cut off

Rob Boon 3 bets in the small blind to 3700

Boon covers Nicholson

Nicholson calls

 6h 7h Qd

Boon 3800 cbet

Nicholson 10,000

Boon folds.

Nicholson, who said last night on twitter that an online session win last night had "won back 1/700th of my year to date losses", is on 75,000

I believe if he wins this he will have won back 2/700 th ;0)

Tom Myland limps and calls a raise from Danny Tran

flop 2-7-8

Myland check calls a c-bet

9 turn

Myland check raises Tran all in with 2-2

but Tran has re-drawn him with 9-9, and doubles up to over 60,000

Tom Myland opens to 5,000 at 800-1600

Tom Langley calls in position

Matt Harris on the button pops it up to 14,200

Myland passes

Langley shoves for 79,000 total

After a wait, Harris calls with Q-Q, for almost his stack

Langley A-Ko

6-5-6 flop

Myland lets out a blood curdling exclamation of "Oh f***"

4 turn

7 river

Harris knocks out Langley

Myland, of course, passed 5-5

He button raises, and he and the big blind see a board of 7-3-A-3-6

The big blind bets the river, 3,200 into 5,000

"Don't write this down" says Sean to me

Naively

Sean calls with 9-7 suited and beats K-5 suited

Go go Sean

Skalie is just about to go outside for a fag

He is on the button

He stands up

He looks at his first card

He sits down

"Ruling" comes the shout from someone at the table, wanting his hand dead

It is ruled live as he has sat down before the second card has been dealt to him

Mark Judge opens UTG with AJss

Folded to Skalie who shoves 40,000

Call

Skalie AKcc

Flop comes two spades, but Skalie back-doors nut clubs anyway to double up

Coming to the break after 14 levels

71 remain

There is one stack over 400,000 and that is Anthony Cartwright. I can't photograph him as he has his back to me on the second tier, and the other side of the table is filled with the detritus od 10 hours worth of food, drink and cutlery and I don't want to knock it all overa

blinds go 2000-4000 next

Two levels to play

Of familiar names

Alli Mallu and Chinese Frankie are side by side. Mallu over 300,000 Frankie's stack has been steady to slightly down in the last couple of hours at 140,000

Tom Kugelstadt has been up there all day and remain so, his chiselled features hunkering over his stack and playing consistently

David Nicholson is struggling a bit, has 3-bet fold twice in this level while I was hanging around hoping for action

Just realised I actually know two Matt Harris's who play poker, and he is neither of them

This one won a raffle in his local pub, first prize DTD Deepstack buy in.

Might be something worth trying next month mate?

wish i knew this before jamming :(

Marcin Milde doubles through Adrian Reynolds

Milde, down to a short-stack shoves K-Q

Reynolds calls o-t-b with A-Q

6-J-9-K-6 for Marcin

Paul Danko doubles through Duncan McLellan

A-A versus K-Q on Q-J-9-Brick-brick

He's up over 120,000

McLellan has really dusted off a stack since the break, currently down to 1.5x bb and talking a comeback....

Alli Mallu now challenging for the chip lead

Over 400,000

Raising about 5 hands in the orbit and a half I watched, each 4x.

-----------

Chinese Frankie has been moved off his table. It's serious Frankie today. No laughing and joking. He means business

----------

LilDave appears to have re-discovered his mojo, several three bets get through unscathed

---------

Bandit Evans was down to 80,000 at 2-4k, just 3 bet shoved J-J in the big blind over a button open, uncalled, to take him back towards 100,000

-------

Dwayne Bradley just out "a massive bluff gone wrong" against Nick Hicks

A-3-K-6 board

Hicks is check raised from 6,000 to 15,000. Hicks calls

Bradley jams the 8 river with "absolutely nothing",on a completed flush board, Hicks tanks and calls with A-3

I hope they get you in the commentary booth tomorrow Herbie or at least doing the updating during the Monte Carlo
lol. I'm an aquired taste mate. Went in the booth to leave tighty a drink last time I cashed and he shit himself thinking I was there to commentate. The look on his face was priceless :)

It was sheer panic.

He's bad enough when he has time to consider what he might post. Can you imagine live commentary from Mr Foot in Mouth?

Shudder

Three words: five second delay.

 ;popcorn;

Better than me..

Herbie for commentary!!!!

55 left with half an hour to go, and things are quite slow really

I have the sense that guys with 150,000 or so 30xbb are happy to take their chances tomorrow

Looking like we'll have 70-75 back, 64 paid, so you can understand the views of some of these below average but not very short-stacks are taking

does seem strange the dynamics for end of day play on each day and how <10% is affecting this third day...

Esp if the aim is to pay all day 2'ers which I would be a fan of

Right at the end Ruud busts, shipping QJcc and Paul Danko found Kings behind

52 left..the average of those going thorugh today looks to be 163,000

Much much lower average than the previous two days....people definitely been sweating making tomorrow and the bubble on the first level back, tangibly so from watching the play here

So to wrap up where we stand at the end

29 made it through 1a and 1b

50 have made it through 1c

Meaning we have 79 back. 64 are paid tomorrow, £600 each and upwards with it is estimated £37,500 for first

blinds on the 1pm resumption tomorrow are 3000-6000. The bubble will almost certainly go in the first hour tomorrow

Chip counts will be along shortly

Can I get an update on jonathan schofield please if he's still in.

Out about 20 minutes ago I am afraid. He walked past me a lost soul, then walked back whence he came. Then repeated it, twice.

Love this line, somehow had me laughing, then repeated it twice. Wp tighty.
Great poetic summary of the emptiness of being dumped
