My name is Richard Blacklock and for those that dont know me I run a spasmodic diary here on blonde http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=54701.0 (http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=54701.0) where I talk about my degen days from my 20's (and late 30's  :( ) along with other property related stuff.

Most people around here know me and obviously I dont play full time infact I have only played 4 times live this year at UKIPT Edinburgh and the Feb Deepstack at DTD whilst playing a miniscule amount of online tournaments.  I have sold 3 tournament packages on Blonde previously and backers including Flushy,Dubai,Big_D, Tikay amongst others I'm sure would vouch for my trustworthiness, prompt payment in staking and complete honesty in hands I have played through the tournament good or bad.

From a previous staking thread, below is a link to my Sharkscope for last year on the DTD IPN network which was over a period of 6 months and the only site played apart from the odd tournie on Stars.

The reason I am asking for staking is that I have pretty much bust my roll during the end of last year and start of this and with a baby due in 3-4 weeks am having to be uber sensible for the forseeable future and would like to sell 55% at spot for the main event and will be playing either 1B or 1C (tbc).

5% = £38.50
10% = £77

Dubai and Flushy have already taken 15% each and Milligan have chipped in with 10% so 15% is available but I shall be playing if I sell the remaining or not and will take the extra if I need to but obv would prefer to sell and this is the only tournament I am playing in March so it will be getting 110% focus.

I am happy to take payment via Stars or Bank transfer and please feel free to ask any questions or to just flame away

Down to 8800 with 40mins of lvl5(150/300) left after losing  AKss v AJhh aipf v shortie on 10107ss K Q then utg ships 10bigs and we find kings otb and call vs AQo flop JJJ turn A

Day 1 report

Sat down to see a table consisting of Joeri Zandvliet, Jaffacake, Tim Chung an agro Polish online guy who was decent and also a guy who Stato said he knew online who was also agro and vented his aggression on me most of the time  :(

However I flopped well early in the small blind levels with suited connectors and small pairs and chipped up nicely to 17800 with pretty much no showdown at all and then further to 20k going into the final hand of level 3 before my first setback where I open to 425 at 75/150 UTG with  Aspades Ks and Tim who just lost a big all in coup jams 2300 total and we call to be up against  Ahrt Jh and see  Ts Tc 7s Kc    Qh to drop back to 17500 and then lost ground further against the guy Stato mentioned to me when he took me to town on the river and I stationed off a small raise and was left with 13700 at the end of level 4 and the second break.

I raise folded 44 and a couple of blinds go through before at 150/300 UTG Jams allin for 3450 and it folds tous OTB with KK which we reship for 12.8k total and are up against AQo and flop JJJ A 4 for another boring runout and we now have less than 10k and the next significant hand was when I had 8800 and I receive a full double when Joeri opens the CO to 650 (standard) and finally finding some cards meaning we can play back at him a bit make it 1400 with 9d 9h which was our first 3b of his co open since the antes kicked in and was prepared to stack off vs him when the BB (Polish online guy) clicks it back to 2200 which looked really strong but it also could well have been a "I know that you know" kinda coup so after a moment I jammed 8800 and he snapped with "Dem Aces"but this time we lucked out on a  6s 7s Tc 9s 4d runout to double over 17k.

At 2/400/50 I again found myself short stacked in a spot where in hindsight I prefer checking the flop as betting basically hung me out to dry.  UTG opens to 800 and is flatted by guy Stato picked out and we find  Kc Ks otb and 3b to 2200 hoping to induce the blinds or either villain but the blinds got out the way and both villains flatted the 2200    eff stacks were  UTG 32k, UTG 38k, me 17k and we flopped  9s Jc Qc which they both checked and as I say the moment the 3700 chips left my hand I regretted it as the action then went  8200 followed by a dwell raise to 14700 and I folded and the guy in UTG snap folded and we were back to25 bbs again.

I remember a convo I think on here where Dubai had said about stacks of 12-20 bbs and that most people stack off too lightly and this has remained ever since and I had blinded to 8900 at 3/600/75 when getting vv marginal holdings that a few years ago Iwould have definately bust with and having had one of the Laming brother replace the recently exited Zandvliet open to 1200 I ship AA  from the CO the Btn calls off and Laming folds and we hold vs 88 before losing a small pot the very next hand when 3b another Laming open with AQo but fold after he donks 4710dd and know as he will peg me as old,tight he must have a better hand than me so fold quietly.

Still being comparitively short (in before) I get a couple of ships through back to back before a min raise otb to 1600 @ 4/8/100 and we have 22 and 25bb's which I flat and was pure set mining and on the KK10 flop expected a cbet from villain but he checked back and let us hit the 2 turn again I checked and he bet 1300 and I clicked to 2900 leaving 10k back for a shove on the river but another K fell and I again checked but the villain checked and I was still good and then I played a hand that gave me confidence for th remaining levels as I had some chips to play with.

I open light (in before) to 1600 with  3c 5c and Stato guy peels IP otb as he had most the day when we tangled and on a flop of 9 10 4 I cb 2200 he 3b to 5k and I made a 4b to fold 8900 and he folded but we were defo going to tangle again which we did a few hands later at 5/1000/100 when I opneed UTG  Ahrt Kh to 2200 my newly found friend again peeled IP and we saw a flop of  7h 8s Jd but this time I had a diff plan as I had some chips and checked knowing he would bet small and always planned to float hoping to pick up equity so when he bet 3100 flatted and the turn brought the  3h and my intention was now to check raise all in as stack sizes seemed ok and he again obliged by betting 5400 so I went allin and got snapped again and this time held "The Beltons" but  the  Ad river binked us upto 73500at the end of the level.

The last level I hovered around 80k and finally finished bagging up 78400 which with blinds going back 8/1600/200 and gives us some wiggle room for manouvre on Day 2.   Just need to hope Petra can keep the baby in for hopefully the next 3 days from Friday!!

Cliffs for second day

20mins in and already had my Sheriff's badge on when I open the btn with  5h 6h to 3200 @ 8/1600 both blinds make up and we flop  6s Ts 3h   ck, ck me 5200 and only BB calls turn  Jd   ck, ck to see the river  Th  BB bets 6400 which we call beating  Aspades 8s

Then K'O Mark Mcluskey when he jams the Btn for 22k and we find AQo in BB and hold

Built up a bit of history with Canadian Pro Jason Duval who was villain in our exit hand where we open 88 UTG to 4k and he 3b's to 9k which we flat and see a flop of  3d 6h Qs and we C/C a flop bet of 6400 and bink an offsuit 8 on the turn where the action goes ck, ck before I lead on the  7d for 14k and he dwell folds moving us upto 136k.

Unfortunately I didnt get the chance to abuse the bubble as it didnt last long and also the action was crazy during that time are we were spot/card dead for an hour so had dropped to avg and underneath at our exit

Blind 1500/3000/300   we 103k  Villain covers
I open UTG2 to 6k w  Ad Qd  villain calls   flop  Jd 4d Qh  (19200)  and I continue the lead hoping to induce for 7000 which is quickly flatted

Turn   8s  (33200)   I lead small as it should in theory lets us bet again on Diamonds and obv we are still betting for value at this point.

River  4h  Dubai told me after that as me I should bet fold 23k and as him due to the fact he is younger  :P and would have a crazier image he would shove or bet 16500 and call off. Unfortunately although not having a maniacal image there were only 3 of us getting involved and I was one of the more active players with the villain the highest agg factor and I took the B/C option after a long dwell and mucked when shown  9d Th for the turned straight but in reality should have bet folded and left us 50k and a spin up stack.

I agree in some respects Pads but in hindsight if as I'm older.. then he is never gonna try and get me off a range of AQ+   if it's you or Dubai is diff as he said he Shoves or bet calls 16k plus if I fold then I still have 18bbs and in that comp having up and back there 4-5 times am still in with a shot.
