Now that DTD has moved across to iPoker, what are the chances of a blonde exclusive regular league or something happening?

I want to do something a bit more special for the Blondebash this year , I have spoke to TK, Flushy and Tightend about this and we are just trying to get a date, we would link this in with the Blondepoker Online League but to do this, so we kind of need this league to get some runners and get it established as a weekly thing, we used to do a Monday DTD/Blondepoker night "hunt the pros" thing and that went down really well getting 50+ runners every Monday, they are the sort of numbers we need to getting to have a credible league. That means the senior players on here who use the forum for their diaries, blogs, options and debates need to give this league some support aswell. I will play whenever I can as with Simon, Nick etc This forum is the busiest in the UK by miles, we should be able to build some momentum and be able to GTE the prizepool, add bounties, prizes etc, but not on 10 runners!

How about some blonde cash games as well, running at the same time? Low stakes stuff more for bragging rights and banter than anything else. When we had them before they were loads of fun.

Definitely something I will suggest, IF DTD can be encouraged via tournament league numbers and feedback on cash tables that setting up some private tables is worth the time and effort

If there aren't private tables for Monday, we can still invade a table and I'm sure any randoms will soon get out of the way!

The Genting LVTC starts next Monday, which I hadn't realised when I set the dates

Going to change Events 2 to 4 to Tuesday nights, starting the 12th so this doesn't clash with something many people are going to want to play on the Genting parent skin that DTD is on

Yeah, first online play for ages and I've made it to the break.

Rushed back from work after running late to play this with just 5 mins to end of late reg. Try to deposit and won't allow me to use my card because it is registered with other poker sites. Well yes it is with and with no problem with any of them so why is there with DTD. Deposited eventualy via Neteller but too late to get in the game.

Rich I already use this card with more than one Ipoker skin with no problem. Anyway a little disappointed but not the end of the world. Should have reg erlier but expected to be back in good time. Will sort it with support now.

Obv i do a sick get there on the river when I have walking dead to watch.

Kev, as Rich said it's not an issue with using your card on another ipoker skin, it's an issue with you having used that card on the Genting skin specifically - as DTD is using their payment system (which none of the other ipoker skins will be).

Think support can help people use the same card on both if they're contacted.

Anyway, I got home too late to play tonight unfortunately :(

not quite : support can allow the card to be used on dtd but same card on one or other so if you choose to hold card against dtd then you cannot use card for genting
you can transfer from genting account to dtd account but only after you been verified (sent id and had it accepted )

WD tighty, played really well and used his stack( all that watching/commenting on final tables ;) )
i dont have a clue how to play the next game so i will have to spend a good few hours learning,

wd all point winners. did i read party at end of league? still alot of players who didnt play, also be nice to get some biggish names to play :)

Enjoyed - played it as a freeroll using DTD Points and chipped up nicely when I hit my flush on the river vs four4Kinghell in a pot where I'd been aggressor throughout - he hit two pair on the river as I hit my backdoor flush.
Was chipleader for a while.

Then gifted a few to Tighty (calling a button minraise pre from BB and a cbet with a baby flush draw, luckily he checked behind on turn and river with JJ on a Q high board) before losing a chunk to wigglefish (who he?) with  Kh 7d vs  Th 8h on  7s Jh 5h where I was so busy calling for no heart on the river that I forgot to say no 8, no 10!! Horrid call by me really, ahead, but a dog with two cards to come.
Out in 11th to JGill3000 whoever that may be  ;D
Again - a misguided call for no hearts having flopped two pair with  Kd 9d vs  Ac 4h on  Kh Ahrt 9h (he raised I shipped pre) sure enough no hearts came, but the  4s did for me.

Thoroughly enjoyed though - must discover how this PLO thing works before the next one.

Pretty simple u get 4 cards instead of 2 but have to use 2 of them exactly and 3 of the board.
Hand ranks tend to move up a bit from holdem so 1 pair is normally unlikely to win

Lolz standard. when I first started playing holdem I was unstoppable but ever since i've a had a good grasp on the game I haven't won a thing. . #ignoranceisbliss I probs did everything wrong and I think i was far too aggro for PLO but it was really fun to play tbh even though the Structure was joke deep.

Well played Milli, you weren't too aggressive, a couple of dubious calls along the streets maybe but nontheless well done.

The structure was ridiculously deep - I think me and milli were the only two who didn't spend chunks on it. I had the addon, and I think Milli just had one rb and not the addon. Blinds were 300/600 with 200k + in play three handed

Yep, this. I didn't take an addon as i wanted to go to bed.. Tighty is sorting it out for next time.

I didn't have a rebuy just the add on.

Really enjoyed it until my full house got runner runnered against a straight flush. Lost my head then and gambled way too much.

More PLO, shorter structure.

An incentive for winner of each leg works in another league I play - to keep numbers up each week.  They have a second chance SnG for all leg winners to take another overall prize place.

It's all fine Tighty, players just have to make the effort to join in.

Like this idea ^^ also maybe increase the number of points on offer for the latter comps Ie weeks 3 & 4 (like the LVTC do) so that anyone who has not point scored in first 2 weeks still feels they have a chance of winning a prize and therefore enters as opposed to not bother playing.

Really low-level rebuys are good fun, as long as they don't go on until the wee hours.

I also think some micro cash-action for blondes only is a lot of fun after/during the tournaments.  Keeps people interested and they can watch the comp whilst playing cash, so keeps the interest up.
