Title: 3 years for this...
Post by: aaron1867 on March 22, 2013, 12:56:07 AM

It is awful.

But 3 years, really?

You get 3 years for robbing and so on, but I am reading this and genuinely appalled at this.

It's the Daily Mail, whose crimes are greater than those alleged in the article, more reliable source please.

+1
One minute on google will teach you what a poisonous rag the mail is. Quite a few more reliable accounts which don't mention any of the sensational elements only the mail seems to have discovered.

Yeah a few of my old students and aspergers/autism and they were really good kids/young adults when you got to know them. Just acted a little off center so to speak when in some social environments.

Yeah one lad could tell me every bus model ever made in England, what day of the week anyone was born and was obsessed with a certain actor. Problem was he and a few others could be taken advantage off easily, but with a good support network for them at college and home, they all ended up with a job and a decent social life with a good circle of friends. Just takes effort and understanding peoples needs to live as normal life as possible.

My eldest has Aspergers and it's difficult for these kids to socialise as it is.  This poor kid had to struggle with homophobia as well. These nasty b*stards clearly went for the very weakest most vulnerable target they could find.

Heartbreaking and there is no way on earth that the sentences handed out are enough.

For Kukushkin88 to say the Daily Mail has committed worse crimes than this is just unfathomable.  You need to get a sense of perspective in your life.

It's a terrible thing what these people did but The Mail has inflicted considerable harm on millions of people over more than 80 years and continues to do so every day, overall that has to be worse than one terrible act. Anybody who believes the Mail or Mail Online has an ounce of credibility, integrity or decency please watch Dacre on the stand at the Leveson enquiry.

Its not just the Mail, its reported across the entire press.

Sure, I'm not disputing that it happened and that it is a terrible tragedy.

Yes but you can't see the difference in the reporting? No one else mentions taunting, scrawling stuff on the body, him running away after the event. The reports elsewhere tend to suggest more of a carry on gone bad but that wouldn't please the indignant daily mail readership would it. I don't know exactly what happened but I know the mails account is the one I would least likely believe.
