Hello all,

Day 1s for the ISPT Wembley event are beginning this weekend and I'd like to sell to play all of the online Day 1's if necessary. Of course hopefully we will bink off the 1st bullet but this seems like the easiest way to do this.

I've been playing a lot of the satellites on there since they started so have a decent amount of notes on people and I expect these Day 1s, and the whole tournament, to be really good with it being aimed at the "grassroots" player. There is also the likelihood of an overlay in the event which adds to the value in playing this comp.

I will not be playing my own games alongside this although will hopefully be playing a couple of SCOOP events but I will have no problems being 100% fully focused on all my games playing <4 tables.

So the Day 1s are:

Sun 12th May
Sun 19th May
Sun 26th May
Mon 27-30th May

I would be pretty surprised if there wasn't an overlay in the £100 1r 1a 10 x £3000 Day 2 packages so we could also include this if stakers wanted, I will find out what the package consists of but anything that isn't seat + cash I will include as a return as obv stakers don't want 10% of a hotel room :)

Note I will be playing the 100 seat sats as well as possibly some feeders on my own dime.

Anyone who takes a % of this will have 1st refusal on any side events I may play.

So if we do it solely Day 1s then =

7 x €300 = €2100

I will be looking to sell 60% and selling @ 1.286 so locking in the ex rate now

10% = £227.17
5% = £113.59

If we include the £100 1r 1a sat then

10% = £267.04
5% = £133.52

Couple of things have changed...

They £100 1r 1a is now a £200+20 instead, same amount of seats.

So for every 10% I owe £9 back.

However, they've now added in another online day.

We can sort things out afterwards but can everyone just confirm they be in for playing it if needs be ?

So with they above deducted off:

20% = £47.20
10% = £23.60
5% = £11.80
2.5% = £5.90

Out, btn opens 300, I make it 820 from just over 8k in sb JJ, just 3b the bb and have just moved to this table, bb who I have marked green and note that he overbets/overvalued hands makes it 3200 with 7k back, I maybe fold without the note, maybe I should still just let it go but thought he makes it less with AA/KK and thought he could have 88-1010 with that note I had on him, we turned a gs but didn't find it.

Maybe I'm misreading it but the DTD website seems to indicate to me that this sat is £200+20, it's actually £200+20 with the option of a £100 rebuy if you bust. So basically just the same amount as in OP, just to lyk.

History is villain 1 co opens to 90 playing 3.8k @ 15/30, villain 2 3bs sb 270 playing 9.6k, he peels. Flop is 954dd Villain 2 cbs 270 and v1 raises to 660, v2 calls. V1 bets 960 on 3 turn and calls a jam with J9os, villain 2 has 77.

So villain 2 (6.3k) opens +1 @ 15/30/2, I peel mp AQ, with Qs (4.3k), villain 1 peels in BB(8k). Flop is As9s5, v2 cbs 200, I call, v1 makes it 750, v2 folds we call. he makes it 1,350 on brick turn, I tank, I totally expect he doesn't have AK here, so we lose to A9,A5 and 99, 55, think he maybe 3bs 99 pre. River is a King, I call. He makes it 1410 and I call, he has 55.

In this comp I should maybe just fold turn. After seeing him take off with the J9 hand I expect he can have Ax here and busted fds, obv just flopped a set though :(

If we brick off on our last bullet tmoro and I can sell 70% I will direct buy in for Day 2b.

I will sell @ 1.13 which I think is me underselling with consideration to the expected overlay and from the std I've seen in the satellites/Day 1s but since I have very little time to sort this out and have to sell a chunk that is the price I'm going to sell at. As I say I have very little time to arrange everything and would need to recieve all monies pre comp via bank or Stars so could everyone please lmk if you are interested in re-investing for day 2 asap, thanks.

So far this year I've played GPS Newcastle which I min cashed and then the Monte Carlo which I came 16th in, more recently played quite a few tournaments grinding scoop and returned a tiny loss on that schedule despite multiple sweats.

This comp is slightly different than most as it is really a 10x buyin to day 2 of a €300, opening up the remote possibility that by selling with markup I could end up in profit from a result in which investors lost money.  To negate this possibility, any cashes for less than the buyin I will refund with markup, i.e. if you buy 10% you will have 13.5% of any cashes up to the buyin and 10% of any profit above that.

Ray have ya thought about playing this Fridays online day1 (z)?

I did, as I wasn't planning to direct buy in to day 2 as I've been pretty under it, but I've had a few good days online in my last few sessions and if I played the Fri day 1 it will finish 2-2:30, I wouldn't get to sleep before 4 and would have to be up at 7 to get down to London by 12 which I don't think is a good idea.

Flatted sb KK vs btn open, bb peels, checked around on AhQh10, btn dcb A turn I call and he barrels 3 river, he has AK. We then double AJ>>>K10 and get a jam through so have 2.1k.

Somehow find QJ in the sb, bb has AJ ofc and flops the Ace, out.

Bar the AQ hand I'm happy with how I played in these and it's hard to say we didn't run pretty awful.
