he was quite an average presenter at best but it was hardly the kindest way to sack him i dont think they would have mentioned it at all unless matt scott from the telegraph had not said his farewell to Ronnie.

I'm sure he does ok off his own bat, but on Braziil's coat tails I expect he has had some social life.

Brazil seemed very pally with "Chicken" but didnt seem at all bothered he was off. Probably glad to have a scapegoat if it was down to figures.

He sounded gutted this morning, I usually only have it on for 10 minutes or so and as has been said he's not great but always came across as a decent guy unlike that shambles Brazil who no matter who he has as a guest only wants to talk about where they will be eating/drinking/holidaying.

Brazil is clueless and I really wish he didn't support Celtic.
I don't think this is why he got sacked but the other week he was saying he was at the Manchester Derby when Keane put that tackle in on tge City player, it turned out he was playing Cricket that Day and it was impossible for him to be in attendance.

I know someone who paid £4,000 at a charity do to have a day with the breakfast show for him and five friends. They got there to be told Brazil wasn't around and that they couldn't go into the studio. The only person who spoke to them - clearly embarrassed - was Irani.

The whole thing was a complete farce.

At least a good cause made some money.

The last 2 quarters have seen a 10% reduction on audience and as mentioned advertising and generated revenue down too. I woould be surprised if Ronnie is the last to go.

He was also exposed on air lying recently, saying he was present when Keane "tackled" AIH, when he was 80 not out for Essex somewhere. I would assume that is enough to remove him at short notice.

As for Ronnie, tbh really didn't think he was good as a radio presenter.  But he does seem like a decent guy and I hope he falls on his feet.  Not long before the Keys and Grey breakfast show then.
