Hi guys

I'm making my first trip out to Vegas for the World Series this year leaving on June 17th and staying till 17th July staying in a house with 7 other poker players.
Even though this is my first Vegas trip, this trip is purely business for me, I'm not one to be going out partying much so any investors can be assured my head won't be turned by the bright lights of Vegas.

I'll be playing a good schedule of $1,500 WSOP events and some of the $1k casino main events like the golden nugget/Aria and Binions events before playing the main. It also helps I'll have been in Vegas over 3 weeks before the main starts to fully adjust to the time and heat differences.

This year has been a sort of revelation or a eureka moment for me in regards to MTT's, after a horrible run last year making so many day 2's/day 3's I just couldn't break that glass ceiling of final tables but after taking a few months off from the live game I got back online and got some coaching and got back to basics and speaking strategy with some of the better uk players I've changed the way I approach live tournaments and this year has already shown good results althought not a breakthrough score yet... In January I was chip leader on day 1 of the UKIPT Edinburgh, then in the very last hand on day 2 I had a top 10 stack for day 3 but found dem Aces and got all in pre vs AQ...to give the winner a huge chip lead for day 3 and he rivered a flush which put me short stack for day 3 and I finished a disappointing 41st.
A few weeks later I final tabled the DTD £300 deepstack losing a flip with TT<AK to finish 8th then just last week I final tabled the Sheffield leg of the Genting Poker Series main event finishing 8th again :(
Final tabled 7 other smaller tournaments this year too including the Ian credible £100 at DTD and £75 comps at Sheffield inbetween.
I think I've had a pretty decent start to the year seen as I've not really played many Live Tournaments due to spending much of my time playing live cash which has really helped my game playing deep stacked and now feel comfortable playing down the streets or playing pre flop and picking up on live tells too.

And although this is my first staking post on here, I have sold many times over fb to fellow players and There's never been a problem with pay outs or anything. I can get many references from respected pro's.

I'm sure I have met or played against most people on here so hopefully you will think I'm worth a small punt in the main event, I'll be selling at 1.38 which works out at the following -

Online results please?

Dont know him that well but played on the same table with Liam a few times most recently in Edinburgh and Sheffield

On both occasions he had a great table presence and played very well particularly in Sheffield where he was able to grind a very short stack on Day 1 ( final tabled I think ) which is obv a great attribute in a slow structure tournament like the WSOP main

Not buying much at the moment but I will take 1% for the sweat

Just finished dinner break...chipped up slowly to 40,000. Then I ran the 2nd nuts into the nuts and was down to 2,400! :(

But I ninja'd back up to 38,000. Feeling good :)

GLGL Day 2.

Hi guys. Finished day 1 on 62,625 :-) pretty happy considering the disaster in level 3.

Held 77 on K6543 in a 4b pot against the tightest player on the table and he shows up not with KK...78.

So down to 2,400.
I double up with AQ>KQ
77>AK to get up to 11k
Then take a few blinds and win a few small pots
Up to 18k and last hand before dinner break I r JTss from HJ, sb calls bb 3b I flat sb folds. Flop T97s he bets I call. Turn J. He checks. I jam. He tank calls with KK. And we hold to go to 36k.

First hand after the break we flat with 99 from old guy open. Flop J98 he bets I call. Turn 9! He checks I bet he calls. River 5 he check folds :(

Then card dead for hours.

Get moved tables with 2 hours left of day 1 into a table full of button clicking patched up pro's. sighhhh...

So I fold for an hour...then flat with 99 out the bb. Flop KT5 I check call. Turn 9. I check call. River 5. I check raise and he calls. So puts me up to 50,000.

Then I fold for 30 mins and pick up QQ UTG. I raise to 800. 1 caller and sb moves all in for 13,000. The caller behind had 21,000. So I just jam iso and win vs AQ.

Day 2 tomorrow. Feel good :)
