Title: Man bent over for mortgage; offers package.... (Sold Out)
Post by: theprawnidentity on August 18, 2013, 04:57:15 PM
In lieu of finding a live backer (Hi there.....     ;whistle;) I have decided to sell a 'package' for  a couple of upcoming weekends.    For those of you who don't know me please see my diary: Click Here (http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=61034.90)

For those who wish to see some results from me, here is my stars SS (I play 180s and MTT's):

For those who don't know, a deposit for an upcoming mortgage is forcing me to sell more of my action then would have been previously necessary.

I have decided to sell a package like this for ease as I'm not sure a) what I will be playing due to the overlapping nature of the schedule and b) don't have a nightmare managing multiple threads.

I will be selling £1000 of live action for 2 weekends for the Goliath Series at Coventry and for the DTD £300 deepstack.  I have done it like this because a lot of the goliath weekend events overlap each other and it will depend on when / if I bust certain events.

Receipts for ALL buy ins will be photographed and posted.  *In before the grief tourists come and tear the place up with the scent of a possible grim.

Looking to sell 50% total.

£1000 @ 1.15 = £1150

2.5% (Minimum) = £28.75
5% = 57.50
10% = 115.00
25% = 287.50

Would like to get the money in before the end of play on the 22nd August (the day before).  Any unused skrilla will be fully refunded and all the usual jazz.  Please post / pm any questions.

On a side note, I will also be selling pieces of the entertainment package as follows (MU announced later, please register interest):

Calzone Challenge – £20 to enter plus unlimited soft drinks, money back if you finish within an hour!

TY.  Think my biggest edge will be in the Calzone challenge and possibly the rock bingo given how good I run in general.

Was up to 45k in the Goliath, down to 31k now, picked some lol spots to do some funk so far. Still got 75bb though so plenty of play left!!!  Only 1 bullet used.

Usual thing happened, phone died at about 4pm and I left my battery pack at home (FML)!!!!

Goliath

Chipped up well in the Goliath, doubled early-ish on with QQ > AK and won some other pots up to nearly 100k.

Opened ep-ish to 3200 @ 800/1600 ( I think) playing 80k (roughly) with  Qh Td, get two callers from the blinds and see a  Ahrt Kh Th flop, goes check, bb leads 5k, i raise 12k, sb shoves (has us both covered), bb folds, we?  Can't really see myself folding here???  Thoughts???  And we call and get shown  Qs Js for the flopped straight and whiff our draw somehow (dealer clearly didn't get the memo).

£56 Turbo

Everyone was rofling.  Lost 1/3rd of my stack first hand with  9c 9s on a   Tc 7c 6c  ( villain donk leads and I raise, villain calls), Turn  3d, goes check bet call, river  2c and villain leads for like 1/4 pot or something.  I call and get shown  Qc 4d!!!!

We go down to 7k and the blinds go up so were in 180 mode!!!!  Pretty much shoved my way up to 80k from there (was 15k starting), lost a pot for half my stack  Aspades Kc <  Kd 4h for half my stack, got 99, JJ, AK, AQ, KK, JJ, wal etc etc etc.  Busted on the final two tables (9 paid) for a 5 TIMES AVERAGE STACK pot.  Or as it would be known where I come from, 20bb.  Goes limp, limp, and then the button shoves (has everyone covered) and were in the sb with  Ahrt Qh.  Not got many hands but looks like a young-ish kid and may have some capability so we call and get it in vs  8s 8h.   Ts Jc 5s flop and we whiff from there and once again, the dealer doesn't get the memo!!!!!

Cliffs

I was once again the sickest mofo in the room, dealers did a horrible job  :P

Down to 10k from a high of 35k in the 25/25. Blinds 300/600, got some work to do!!!

25/25 - Bullet 1

Starting table certainly wasn't ideal.  A table where 7 of 10 players were competent / rocks certainly way above the average standard that I would expect for a £200 tournament.  That being said, managed to chip up to 35k pretty quickly and then went a downswing to about 9k where I couldn't seem to rake in a single pot.  Then I was moved to a table which seemed favourable to the previous but by this time I only have around 11bb.

Had some older / really tight players behind me and my busto hand was testament to this.  Shoved the cutoff with K5s (for 9.5bb) and the bb (playing about 50bb) squirmed, pulled some faces, checked his cards a couple of times and then dejectedly threw the call in with AQo!!!!!

Defo going back tomorrow and can hopefully get things moving in the right direction.

Have just found this from the APAT Main:

Interesting hand with Tom Somerville and Chris Webber.

TS opens in early position to 450, CW 3 bets to 1050 on the button. TS then 4bets to 2550, CW 5bets to 4250 and TS 6 bet jams 13k ish.

Chris folds.....guess the hands shown?

Will probably take a couple of bullets at the £300 deepstack sattys if there is a decent amount of overlay.  I would guess that everyone is OK with that?  Shout if not.

Sorry about the late update for this package.  Started off really well with me quickly making it up to 50k or so.  QQ < ??  Qxx x x for a chunk, won a reasonable pot with K9s on a Qx9 9 9 and then made a few mistakes.  The main one was re-raising the turn with a set of fours vs a flopped straight making it pretty easy for him to get it in and for me to have to call it off.  Obviously still had quite a few outs to managed to brick the river to put me back to 20k.  Proceeded to just lose a load of small pots vs the same guy where he kept flopping top pair vs me (not a whine its relevant to the bust out hand).

So early position playing 13k at 300/600 - 50 I make it 1200 with TT.  The kid 2 to my right who I've played a load of flops with flats IP and it folds round.  J94hh flop.  I continue for 1250, calls.  Turn blank.  I check and he bets.  In all the previous pots we've played he's played top pair really cautiously so far.  He's usually had position and the hands have always gone something like bet call, check check, check bet (or bet call).  So when he bets turn I think he can have top pair but can also be betting tons of draws.  So I plan to call and expect the river to check check on most blanks if he has top pair.

So I call and river blanks.  Check and he shoves.  There's a ton of missed flush and straight draws out there and he's played top pair quite passively so I thought his shove on the river was a bit polarising.  But with the amount of missed draw combos he can have I was pretty sure I would be good a good portion of the time.  Plus there's already 11700 in the middle and I have to call off about 7800.  So I talk myself into calling and he does have AJ for TPTK.  So I pretty much managed to elaborately level myself.  Was really disappointed to bust a tournament by calling it off but I think my reasoning is alright.

Any comments or opinions would be gratefully appreciated.

Think my lines pretty tidy though.

We currently have $92.40 in bounties.

***On reflection though I think I prefer just barrelling a non blank card OTR, this looks kinda draw-ie.

And on the second one they both snap acted as well.  Guy shoves 29k before the button even blinks once.

11.5k at 350/700.

Just need a couple of doubles.

Will be doing some online spins when I actually next take to virtual felt.  Not managed to play since I signed the contracts as I'm moving next weekend and shit got real.

Might get a WCOOP spin or two through during the week.  Will let you know what I'm playing pre.

Hey guys sorry I left this this long. Finally got moved in this weekend and everything is in place.  If everyone is OK with it, I will play the £336 deepstack on Friday at DTD and put the remaining funds into it.

$211.95 left in the stake which according to stars conversion rates this morning is £130.70.  This gives the stake 39% (rounded up) of the £336 deepstack on Friday.

We busted Day 1 in a pretty lol spot:

Robert Boon shoves 20x bb at 500-1000 with AJ UTG

Richard Dawson flats from an above average stack UTG+1

Tom Somerville is playing 80,000 on the button and shoves A-K

Dawson, has flatted with Aces and calls him

Knocks out both with AAv AK v AJ to go over 200,000

I must have told tighty the seats wrong because the names don't look right to me.  Pretty lol spot, might have found the fold button (maybe) if it wasn't by far the best hand I had seen all day.  I knew I was way ahead of the UTG shovers range as he had shoved the last 3 hands in a row.  Meh.
