You may have noticed the 'Devilfish Room' in our online lobby. Well the wait is over and we are happy to launch an exciting new partnership with our DTD ambassador Dave 'Devilfish' Ulliot.

DEVILFISH's TOURNAMENTS

Devilfish has selected a list of the best value tournaments which our online community can take part in, and has put them in his own room under the DTD tab so they are easily accessible.

By playing these tailored 'Devilfish Room' tournaments, players will earn points based on their finishing positions and be competing with each other to climb The Devilfish leaderboard.

THE DEVILFISH LEADERBOARD FINAL

At the end of each week the top 8 players will qualify into the weekly final (held on Monday nights) and compete against The Devilfish himself:

    Knock The Devilfish out and win £100 worth of DTD Sponsorship £££'s.
    Win the final and earn £250 worth of DTD Sponsorship £££'s.

'GO FISHING'

Devilfish will be taking to some of the tournament tables giving players the chance to play against the legend himself; who has over $6 Million worth of cashes to his name.

Knock out The Devilfish and you will win a bounty prize, with the option to go double or quits on the bounty by playing The Devilfish heads up.

Players will have to 'go fishing' and follow The Devilfish on social media to find out which of the tournaments he will be playing.

Starting this Monday (Sept 16th) to launch The Devilfish Room we are giving away 10 x £60 Grand Prix Day 1 seats to the top 10 on the leaderboard. So just by playing these hand picked tournaments you can work your way up the leaderboard and win a free seat into our £250,000 GTD event*

Is the leader board top ten giveaway based on all 70 odd tournaments over the week or just a day one Monday leader board???  Thanks

The leaderboard is based on your finishing positions in any of the tournaments ranging from 5 points for cashing through to 100 points for winning. At the end of each week final positions are determined on who has the most points. For example if you won the Daily Dollar you would get your 100 points. If you then min cashed it the following day you would receive 5 points. So you'd finish the week on 105. But if say another player won 3 tournaments he would have 300 points and thus finish above you.

That's why I like the idea of this Devilfish room as all bankrolls can compete directly for the same prizes.

The person who eliminates Devilfish will receive 1 x £168 token.

the winner tonight takes home a £336 Deepstack seat and there's a £168 Deepstack seat for knocking Devilfish out.

We've kept this ticking over nicely with the first two Final Tables taking place successfully generating winners for our Deepstacks.
Unfortunately Devilfish was unavailable for one Final, however if he is unable to play then he will be replaced by a DTD representative. Most likely Rob or Simon.

All you need to do to get yourself on next Sunday's Final Table, and try and win a £300 Deepstack seat, is play the hand picked tournaments in The Devilfish Room online and earn points based on your cashing finishing position.

This is a great way to grind some online MTT's and win a seat into one of our big guarantee events.

I only play about once a week these days so how i qualified on a leader board i've no idea.

We have moth balled this for the time being, no doubt it will be refreshed/altered to something new in the future.

If any MTT players on DTD/iPoker have any input over what they'd like to see please let me know.

At the minute we try to reward OCCG players, always offer great value satellites for sat players and will work on something for MTT grinders.
