ive been stuck up here in the highlands for the last 3 months getting cabin fever although ive enjoyed going to a wee village called drumnadrochit by loch ness for a £5 freezout on a monday night and chuffed to win last week and take £40 plus a handsome loch ness brewery tankard to boot.l

Hey careful with the massive man - 19 lbs lighter since late june and more to come :-)

This is very frustrating but I think I'm going to have to cancel this stake.

I woke up with a little back pain on Monday, but thought nothing of it. Yesterday it was a tiny bit worse but after a hot bath it was fine.

But this morning it was excruciating, could hardly stand up and couldn't walk at all.

Been to the doctors and I've been diagnosed with sciatica. And the doc said I really shouldn't be sitting still for 12 hours.

If I was playing 100% for myself I'd probably still give it a spin, but it really wouldn't be fair gambling with other people's money when I'm not 100% fit.

I had just about sold enough to play, so it's doubly annoying.

As I've already booked and paid for train and hotel I'll still likely come down and play a couple of side events if I feel fit enough.

If I cop something in one of them, everyone who offered to buy a piece will still get a drink.

Really sorry about this, at least no one has (except Ryan) has transferred money yet.


**EDIT** I suppose I could wait until Saturday/Sunday to make a final decision - would have to have made a full recovery though.

How long before yours cleared up? Dr said anything between a couple of days and 6 months.

roughly 3 months though it felt longer :(

I got told I had it a few years back and was going to post to say was around 3 months for me as well.
