Hi all,

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Andrew Hulme and I'm a professional MTT player based in Nottingham.

I'm selling 30% of a package EPT London events, including the main event, some satellites to the main event, and some sides.

Barring any extraordinary circumstances, I'll be playing every day once I arrive, though this package includes everything I might play if I happened to bust everything straight away, so it's very likely that I will miss some of these tournaments, since (hopefully!) they will overlap.

October 9th - Re-entry side - 2 x £1000+£100  bricked but refund 1 bullet = 1100*1.1 = 1210
October 9th - Turbo - £1000+£100 did not play refund 1100*1.1 = 1210
October 10th - turbo - £1000+£100 trophy OIOI - 1st for £22,410
October 10th - turbo - £300+£30 did not play - refund 330*1.1 = 363

Anything not played obv returned with mark up, this will also be the case for the main event buy in if we bink a seat in the sats.

The fields were encouraging last year, obv tougher than the likes of the DTD deepstack, but there were quite a few spots last year, and the regs will be similar to playing online, where I have a proven track record, so I think a mark-up of 1.1 is fair.

Total buyins = £20,915 = £23000 at mark up so:

1% = £230
5% = £1150

Quite a big package but I think it's pretty good value compared to several others I've seen in various places.

For disclosure Im not including the ukipt main, only because I'm on holiday this week and can't play.

Im pretty disappointed with this in a way cause hoped I would get more than just one sweat, but at least we ran well for that one, and given we ran pretty badly in the main event, a big part of the package, I guess a profit is an OK result.

Just a quick heads up, I have made day 2 of the DTD deepstack with a reasonable stack so the chance of me missing the sats has increased somewhat. I do still intend to travel down and play if I have enough time to do so.

Do we get a slice of the 300 for you missing out the sat s :p

Busted the deepstack at an annoying time which made it just too late to realistically get to london in time for the sat, so were straight in at the deep end. On the train now on the way to the Connaught rooms. Gl us

Got off to decent start but then lost ak vs kthh on aj7hh to go over 100k. Got 37 now

Busted. Lost 99% of my stack with TT < JJ btn vs co and failed to do anything spectacular with the remaining 300 chips. Tournament had a surprisingly large number of soft spots. Happy how I played, if the AK holds

Together a string of massive check raises which I learnt from an old guy on Friday in the deepstack, and its going splendidly

Today was a massive grind. Made day 2 with less than I had after 1
Orbit 14,400. Tilting but was v card dead. Looking at the positives I have more chance to win now than I did at the start of the day, and there are more refunds for the other bullet ad tonight's 1k turbo.

Chipped up to maybe 320k going back at 8k/16k so still only 20 bigs. 2/8 now. Played 2 comedy hands with claypole got it in pre with him twice in consecutive hands and chopped both a5s v a5s and qjs vs ajs. He still in but pretty short.

So yeah as you've probably gathered I shipped the 1k turbo last night for what I think (but ill double check) was £22,410.

Day 2 of the 1k starting shortly, short stack but as last night demonstrated I'm skilled at all ins, so must have a chance to spin up! If not depending when I bust there's a 500 and a 1k today and were already better than freerolling so can't be bad!

Just played a hand badly in the 500 will post it later but pretty bad mistake to make cos had chunks and now I have less than chunks. Now I have to accept my punishment of grinding 30 big blinds, 12k at 200/400/50. First real mistake this festival, certainly first real costly one anyway.

Shock News. Stato makes an error in playing a hand for the first time in the Festival. Losing it.

Ok so the hand. Seemingly competent young guy opens utg+2, fairly loose has 8k at 150/300. Jareth east is online semi reg 3bets to 1450 in CO playing 28k, folds to us in the small blind with AQo. I 4bet to 3200, he 5bets to 5100 I call. Flop KQ9, I check he bets 3200 I call, turn A check check, river brick I lead 4200 he jams for 15k I call. Played with him online a bit, don't really want to say my thoughts on his game as we're likely to play a lot more and he might end up reading this.

Basically I'm pretty fine with post flop once we get there, pre flop is the issue. Was planning to 4bet fold because I have a fairly strong range in this spot, but then he almost exactly clicks back so I think calling is ok. Kind of come to the conclusion that I think my line player dependent is ok, but maybe unnecessary given that it risks what is a good stack in a soft tournament. So it's probably bad and better just folding to the initial 3bet. Interested in people's thoughts though. Now got 5700 going back at 400/800 after folding a bit and losing jto vs qq to a micro stack

Did a spin up but just lost kqs vs j5s to get to nearly double average. Got 20k left at 600/1200, average 34.5

Don't remember making a pair in the 1k except when I bricked with
Pair fd vs aces and lost. Ground it out till 400/800 and jammed 7k utg 6 handed with j8s and lost to 77. All ins are important in poker, yesterday I won lots of them and won, today think I was 0/6 and lost. Go figure!

Special shout out to Leo McLean, on final table of the main, he tried to sell me some before the start and I didn't take any which is looking pretty foolish now. Ordinarily this would make him pretty hard to root for but he's such a nice lad I generally really want him to win! Gl mate
