Last time we spoke about him and blonde (when the subject was last raised) he does not want to come back. Has an awful lot going on in his life and personally I think it is best for him NOT to come back

I remember the help for hero comp at DTD a couple of years ago he was walking over and I almost walked the other way !

As he doesn't want to come back me & Vince think he should have his ban removed & then we won't have any threads like this as it will just be another person that does t post.

Yeah I know herbies got stuff on, think he's using Facebook as a substitute. I met him earlier this year when we both masterminded binking cheap sat seats for ispt day after day! :)))) and gotta say I like him, characters create discussions and controversy. I like him lol

I've made my feelings very clear on this subject.. I think right now Jason needs Blonde more then Blonde needs Jason, because of the things he has going on in his personal and professional life he needs some community support, let's get him back on, even if initially there is some containment.  His ban has certainly put things into prospective for him and has served a purpose...

I am a bit bored of reading about Jason and his ban.

I think it's about time the mods came and said whether or not he is coming back and put all this 'saga' to bed, then we don't have to read about it every other month.

Just for reference Lee, I would like Jason to come back to Blonde, it would save the awkwardness between the messages I share with Jason on Facebook! However, these threads are every other month & they are just confusing to realise what the current situation is. But we don't need these threads every other month or something like a diary bump, etc, etc.

I told him my opinion of having a laugh and his opinion of trolling must be close together but I would not want to cause him any headaches or extra work load by returning.



I love blonde but my problem is that I don't see a lot wrong in my posting style, I have never back stabbed anyone, always said what I believe and only ever poked guys who I know and see playing poker and would talk to face to face.

Of course I regret a couple of posts especially the Frankie thread and one or two that got people the hump but if I have ever offended anyone I have apologised.

How about if we paid blonde to put him back? Think q a few people would throw in 10 pound. Can even use it to pay the mods who work for free and may have to spend some time n him.

2 month trial he won't misbehave because people have put money in and after being moral for 2 months he will ave climatised to being non confrontational etc nd if he does misbehave he will be banned for good a those who backed him previously verbally will have lost financially too and these threads would stop

Jason went out of his way to help me a couple of weeks ago .....it reminded me what a heart of gold he has thus I decided to start the thread .

Think he's a bit of an unsung hero. He's given me a lot of really good advice and imagine he would do so for anyone else, regardless of history, should they ask.

I imagine he's happier without Blonde, and it's always easy enough to stay in touch with someone on Facebook if you genuinely enjoy their chat.

never really get these kind of threads tbh - Herbie is undoubtedly a character, but strong-willed, outspoken people like him will always divide opinion.  for everyone that loved his contributions to the forum, there will be another person who didn't.  As Jason said himself in the text quoted above, giving him chance after chance (like he already has had) is pretty pointless as the fundamental  issue is that he was/is unable to self-moderate his posts as he simply didn't see the problem with them. I know Tighty spent a hell of a lot of his own time trying to explain things to Jason in person to help him to remain a member of the forum, but there comes a point where you have to draw the line.

I've got a handful of friends that happen to be blonde members, and a heap more that have never heard of the place.  I manage to maintain all of those friendships without mutual access to the same forum, and surely Jason and his friends can do the same - just keep in touch on facebook/msn/IRL etc

What I mean is, say we do accept money to allow Jason back on, what do we say when the next banned member wants to buy back in? Do we just unban anyone who can afford the fee and let those who can't pay stay banned?

I have absolutely nothing against Jason, in fact I quite like him IRL, but by his own admission, he can't abide by the forum rules.

Knowing that, how can we possibly allow him back and retain our credibility?

If self moderation is a problem, Jason should find another medium to air his views on, but if he can see the error of his ways and learn from his ban he should be allowed back and given a chance...
