CONCEPT+

Twister Poker offers players jackpot prizepools of immense proportions for buy-ins as low as $1. The games are fast, adrenaline-racing and packed with excitement as players compete for a potentially huge prize.

Would really love your feedback on this game guys.

It brings a fun element into the game and a bit of a sweat when the wheel is spinning.

Had a few goes...it's a good concept...would quite like to see a bigger starting stack.

I just feel it's a bit of a farce. I can't say I've played more than 30 so far to judge properly but the big majority I have played have been for the lowest amount on the wheel which is basically raking 1/3 of the winner's winnings and the others have been the next prize up, so when playing the $10 for example the prize has been $40 or 3 people to compete for; I have yet to experience playing for any prize bigger than this. I'm not sure I want to invest any more to find out for how long this will be the case.

I like the concept of a changing prizepool like when pokerstars did their 'golden sit & go's' A table turning gold on pokerstars was also rare but I felt that promotion was more honest in it's approach in a Willa Wonka's golden ticket kind of way where you assume the rarity of finding one. But the wheel on twister showing equal segments with each prize as if each segment has an equal chance of hitting is quite tilting.

One was $4 prize others $2. I imagine thats the default for 99% plus of games otherwise ipoker would go bust. Just need to learn not to run into AA with smaller pairs :)

This is a very interesting concept, might have a look at it. Honestly, given all the issues Ipoker have with connections etc, I'm not confident enough in them to want to grind anything on this site full time, or play any cash games for a significant amount of money, but these things look short enough and fun enough to go for.

I have played so so many of these..
I have seen 200 dollars at $10 game.
Can you tell me if the $10 dollar games put money into the smaller games ?
And it would be nice to see how much money is in the pot ( being generated for the jackpot pay out )

I have to say, I was a bit skeptical about this idea, but I've just played some and I'm wet for it now.  Love the short starting stack, love the structure, love the idea.  This game is so far up my street.  Proper high variance punting.  Could maybe do with a couple of higher buy ins, but apart from that I have literally nothing to complain about.

The prize distribution is given elsewhere, but works out at about 7% rake.

You have a 1/20,000 chance of playing for $10k for your $10, and 15,186/20,000 of playing for $20.01.

These aren't my thing, but the rake isn't out of line.

Roughly how many $1 ones do you need to play to get a $5 satellite ticket?

effective rake is about 7%

1 base point = £1 of rake

You need 15 points to win a GP satellite token

A rough calculation then on 7c rake per $1 twister is about 210 of them

have played quite a fee of these but it now says I cannot play them as US£ is not supported by genting

same problem...wont allow me to play them now due to the $ not supported???

DTD have spoken to Genting this morning (their skin provider), to sort out the issue with the Genting cashier that is causing this problem
