Good luck all blondes today. Shared a table with TommyBingham briefly yesterday and he played very well and was very adept at smashing flops and inducing donations. Very impressive in deed. Hoping red dog wins though proving 1.2 was a mere snip.

3    Liam Batey
4    Lee Richards
5    Sunil Mistri

Frst hand Frankie announces " I am all-in blind if it is folded to me." "Liam is going to get them anyway, why wait?"

Albert Sapiano spoils the party and makes it 5,000 otb

Frankie calls

Liam batey 22,000 in the big blind

I scramble for a pen

Frankie decides not to go to Hollywood, and folds

Js 3h 8c

Tim Blake exited in two stages

He raised with A-K

David Greene defended his big blind

10-6-2

Greene check calls

K turn

Greene check raises

Blake calls and a value bet on the river to be met by A-K

--

Left short Blake took A-Q against Mark Wilson's 10-10 and lost to exit

--

the harem scarem table 21 has broke, much to Frankie's chagrin

He told me "man I was printing chips on there"

He has now moved to a table with Frey, typhoon, Eso

As Eso says "unlucky Frankie, you've joined a set of tight old fuckers"

--

liam Batey has moved to the direct left of Red-Dog

--

Albert onto table Bingham/Mitch, with Mitch having position on Albert

--

Van Phan raises to 6,000

Ben Dbson calls on the button

Rastafish all in 50,000 in the small blind

Phan all in

Dobson fold

Phan flips A-Qo

"Perfect" says Rastafish

He fixes the dealer with a stare.

"Nothing silly now"

and flips AKhh

2-8-3

"Perfect"

3

"very good dealer"

5

"thank you dealer"

He does a jig on the spot, his medallion bouncing on his chest while he claps his hands

Realising that no one is paying him any attention, he sits down with a contented smile

Think you need to provide a few more categories. Jack's neither a rock or a fish.

--

Nearly mate :)

AK v K 10 then utg min raise me ship with Ak on button to find 10 10 in BB. Same result though lol

Fraser Dunphy raises and R.Fish calls in the small blind

Fish check call the flop and turn on 2-8-4-A

He checks the A river

dunphy sets him in

Rastafish purses his lips and his eyes widen, and turns his head to the side like an inquisitive puppy at mealtime

He calls all in

Wth 3-3

Dunphy mucks , with a shy smile

Rastafish stands

"You have to go with what your stomach is telling you. My stomach had bubbles then. i knew he had nuttin'"

"Its like life, if you are right you say YES" his voice raises an octave

"If you are wrong you go home and sulk. Just like life....."

His words hang in the air as the table digests his wisdom.

Tom McCready doubled on the last hand before the break to 140-150,000

He raised to 10,000

Both blinds call, Ian Bosley and Van Phan

J-4-2

chek check

McCready shoves

Bosley folds, after strongly considering calling, with 5-5

Phan calls with J-6

Turn A to seal it and put McCready back in the game

Give it a rest.

I, and many others really appreciate your updates.

Thank you.

I just went up to him, and asked to take his photo

He said he didn't want his photo taken (I knew he would say this, because i update a lot of events)

I am not very stupid.  I know which players to leave alone, generally

meanwhile on the enxt table this is terrible news ofr Carl Timber Taylor from Stoke, who is nursing 14,000 at 3-6k

He is in the big blind

Mark Wilson opens to 12,000

The mythical unreported Ish calls on the button

Ollie Morgan calls in the small blind

Taylor, to loud ribaldry, passes for his last 8,000

The board runs out J-8-10-J-7

Morgan bets the river, unreported one calls and they chop with 10-9 and A-9

Next hand Taylor is in the small blind for 3,000 with 5,000 behind

Morgan raises on the button

Taylor sticks it in to cheers

Players from other tables gather round. Rastafish is chirping like an ADHD budgerigar, the excitement of a possible cash clearly too much for him

Greene in the big blind calls

they check down 5-Q-2-7-10

Morgan has 8 high

Greene shows 3-2

Taylor has A-9, loses to fifth pair and bubbles in 37th

Rastafish is chip leader, and on his table, and he's been directly OOP to Liam batey all day so his stack size and those opponents have dictated a rather small ball style that is seeing him weave through the field quite well, so far

there isn't a really big stack to dominate, and everyone is grouped together on stacks

The Greek Jack/Ish the fish table is not seeing many flops

Ish has raise folded to shoves from Lewis and Buchanon a few times. He is down to 500,000

Buchanon 75,000 UTG, Jack 200,000 3bet, call

Jack shoving on Q-J-9 and showing KK when he got the pass

the other table Batey is the shortest of the 5. Bingham and Evans over 1m, largely at the expense of Phan who has lost some ground.

Tommy Bingham opens to 80,000

Greek Jack 225,000 with 600,000 back

Bingham thinks, sets Jack in covering

Jack now thinkgs

Fdl he is down to 15x bb

He exhales, deeply

Leans back in his chair

looks at the ceiling

"Yes!" he eventually says, emphatically, and calls all in with 10-10

Bngham has Q-Jdd. A move, but surely happy with the situation here after he is called, best he could hope for

especially when the flop comes 7d 5d 2c

turn  Aspades

River   9s

Double to 1.7m for Jack

Bingham down to under 1m

I am generally staying by the table in case miss the big hands

Batey has shoved twice uncalled

Strang shoves once uncalled

Bingham has shoved uncalled

Buchanon has 3 bet the big blind to 500,000 over a Phan 110,000 button raise, fold

Buchanon has raised to 125,000, Jacck defends the big and check folds on J-7-2. Buchanon shows 10-10

Ish jhas raised a couple of times no callers

Its the calm before the storm. Average is sub 20xbb but its not that short that there is no raise/fold etc

Batey all in 550,000

call

Bngham A-Qo

Batey 6-6

3-4-5 flop

8 turn

2 river to double Batey and leave Tommy the short-stack of eight

They are just about to go on a break after two levels of the final, with one player lost

This is what happens when you ahve no big stack and the clock goes up to an hour. Round and round the chip roundabout we go.

I have sat behind Peter Evans all final, with sight of his cards, and he has been completely card-dead. he passed, no exaggeration, every hand for ninety minutes, with commendable patience

He then raised to 200,000, Gary Strang shoved and Call

Hurrah I thought, here we go

Evans A-K

Strang A-K

Split pot

Phan 1.2m

Evans 950,000

Buchanon 750,000

Ish 1.2m

Bingham 700k

Jack 1.1m

Batey 1.1m

Ten minute break

Tommy is in a tough spot between these two

He is down to 700,000, got a couple of three bet shoves through but that has been more than eroded by blinds and antes on three handed orbits

--

Jack is having a lot of trouble small blind to Evans in the big blind. Evans calls a lot of the raises, bets every time he is checked to on the flop, and Jack often can't continue

Evans has nearly 4m of the 7.8m in play

Over the first fifteen minutes of Heads up, around 4m chips each when the key hand occurs

Pete limps the button

Jack 400,000 big blind

call

A-5-10

Jack check

Pete 600,000

call

K

Jack check

Pete all in, quickly

Jack stands and frustratedly says "I call"

Pete A-6

Jack Q-Q

Jack sighs, slumps and grimaces

River Q

They count up, and Jack covers Pete by a fraction

So Greek Jack wins his second DTD Deepstack

Peter Evans finishes runner up

There are few, if any, others who can deliver the same amount of colour to their updates.

He tells me "I need an ace".

I make a note of this

I'm surprised Lisa let him stay out so late given he has so much work to do this week especially given he had to be in Ladbrokes shops by 9am this morning!!!!

Pete arrived home at 5pm on Monday evening !

It was my busiest day of the year so far although today trumped it by some margin.

The 9am Ladbrokes offer was fantastic and I had to recruit additional husbands at very short notice.

He made up for it today though and really was fantastic. I've had him  running between shops from 9.30 until gone 3pm and he's just gone out again now.

He's now talking about GPS Sheffield on Thursday or Friday so it looks like I'll be a man down again.

Thanks for all the good wishes and good luck to everyone betting on Cheltenham this week.

Amazing updates as usual Tighty. True warrior!
Was an amazing final table of DTD regs and one of the best rails for a comp to date imo.
Thank you everyone for supporting all of us.

Got a make plenty of towers this weekend and although I lost 90% of allin key pots (most vs my brother) happy with how I played.

Well done all who final tabled and spesh Jack and Pete for a well deserved 1-2.
See you all soon.
