One of the first exits is David Llewellyn

He 3 bet a raise from Rehman Kassam, with A-2

He was flatted

A-9-2 flop

Nce

He liked the 2 turn even better

Two stacks all in, Kassam has Aces for house over house

Ross Patman raises

Ganesh Vnodh flats on the button

Gary Robertson 3 bets in the big blind

Patman 4 bets

Vinodh flats the 4 bet

Robertson 5 bets

Patman 6 bet shoves

Vinodh folds...Queens

Robertson calls, covered, with Jacks

Patman has Kings, and holds on a raggy board to knock Robertson out and go chip-leader

I was only kidding about the rake.

I'm too busy doing my conkers on golf and racing to go out.

Belated happy birthday for yesterday hope you enjoyed yourself.

9-6-2 two spades

Tomlin check calls with A-4 of spades

turn 6 of spades

two staks are in in a flurry of betting

Tomlin with the nut flush is beaten by 9-9 for flopped set, turned nines full to depart

Third hand in, Prasanna S raises to 1500 and there are two callers

Tim makes it 6000 in the big blind with Q-6ss. As you do

flop 6-6-K

He leads 10,000 and Prasanna is the only caller

4 turn

tim checks

Prasanna 19,000

tim all in for 30,000 total

call by K-Q

Chung doubles up

the story behind carlo citrone's early progress is as follows

david greene had already done one bullet with J-10cc on 8c-9c-2s having raised pre-flop and called a three bet and getting it all in versus Kngs and missing

--

On david's second bullet carlo citrone limped, and so did the majority of the table behind. david checked 4-4 in the big blind

It came 7-6-4

david led for 2200, carlo 7,000 and there were two callers before it came back to david.

afterwards, he felt he should have folded, but he made it 25,000 and called carlo's shove

carlo had 7-7

Tommy bingham is out, lost a big pot with QQ to double up Karl Caldeira with Kings

He is left with 15x bb

Stato opens, no change there then

Bingham flats QQ on the button, thinking if he ships he won't get on as Stato can't have anything

big blind Baard Viggo Dahl, which is easy for you to say, calls

J-9-3

Check to tommy who jams his 12xbb

Baard Viggo Dahl re-jams

stato folds

Baard Viggo Dahl J-9 for top two

10 turn for the sweat

brick river

tommy won't be winning this one....

This new structure sees us playing nearly 60x bb deep average into day 2

could be a long one

the upside for the players is that it must be superb to play. lots of post flop play

i saw one had just now where raj dhiri raises to 6500 UTG at 1500-3000

he gets four callers, including peejay on the button and david maudlin is priced in to come in the big blind

 Ts Td 4s flop

dhiri leads for 11,000

peejay calls on the button

maudlin check raises to 35,000

dhiri frustratedly folds, and tells the first caller "you caused that, prcied them all in"

Tomczak   Karen raises to 6,000 on teh button

matthew bonham in the small blind calls

bobalike A-K in the big blind makes it 17,000 to play

button passes

bonham calls

6-5-J

Bonham check shoves over a 20,000 c-bet

bobalike passes

--

an orbit later, bobalike in the big blind

gareth da vies opens to 6,000

martyn frey calls

bobalike shoves Q-J for 70,000 hoping for two passes

davies passes

bobalike talks martyn into calling him

oops. He succeeds, martyn has jacks and holds

Deadman cogitates

Wadey gives him a broad smile "I am not doing it light, not against you. you know that"

Deadman immediately makes it 76,000

Boon folds

Wadey quickly calls with a scowl

 Qd 5h 3d

Wadey checks

Deadman 76,000

Wadey check raise to 160,000

He is getting beaten up a bit

--

next hand julian opens to 35,000

peejay 77,000 on the button

call

julian check calls 55,000 on  Ahrt 2d 7c

julian check folds to 90,000 on the  9c turn

he is now playing under 400,000 at 8-16k

peejay c650,000

tom hall opens in the hi-jack

peejay peels

skalie and albert call in teh blinds

albert leads for 100,000

peejay jams 600,000

albert calls with 8-3 of clubs, gutshot and a flush draw

average a whopping 875k, a superb 54x bb at this stage

Deadman, thewy, tom hall, wadey, skalie, raggy, frankie, albert, hasmukh, david denny, yiannis, neil raine  etc etc

very very high quality field for the later stages of this, not a coincidence with the much smoother structure....

both of these tables are absolutely terrific. i'll pop the seat draw up when i am sent it

simon deadman raised on the button

david denny called in the small blind

denny check calls 40,000 on  6d 8d 4d

check check on  Td

denny 100,000 on  9s

deadman folds,  Qd Qs! he assures us

table doesn't believe him

"i've told you the exact two cards, i can't lie, one of you might have had one of the cards..."

--

yiannis liperis might not want you to know it so much, but has moves and then some

he triple barrel bluffed (with K-8) into deadman button to big blind on J-6-2-Q-6

Deadman check called 3 times with Q-J

--

Yiannis button raised 6-2, as you do

small blind and Deadman defended

 4d 5d 7h

check check check

 8d on the turn

Deadman leads, Yiannis calls

2d

check check

Deadman  Qd Jd wins

--

I am generally chuckling away and Yiannis looks like he is having fun too

"I got three bet by Q-4 by Simon, I then had to four bet simon with 6-2. think its currently a draw between us"

these 50x+bb average stacks late on must be fun to play for the flair-y players...

Frankie playing 400,000+ in the small blind passes

in a three way pot simon deadman bets a pair flop and albert says

and goes back to his table shaking his head

a-ha

we have two exits in the same hand

as the hand starts mike cummings is talking about the eating habits of basking sharks to algernon buchanon

"yes mate, you are safe with basking sharks, only eat plankton"

my mind then tries to construct a scenario where algernon would be interested in basking shark diets, and I fail

yiannis 40,000 UTG

 nasarat ali shoves 110,000

Big blind cummings cold calls

yiannis calls

A-J-8

Cummings covering liperis shoves

yiannis is holding A-J

The happiest of happy days for yiannis, top two pair, double up and knock out a player

CALL

imagine the feeling in the pit of his stomach when cummings flips...J-J for the flopped set

Nasarat Ai finished 16th (he had 4-4)

Yannis peris finishes 15th, winning the UKIPT seat but gutted

Wadey 54,000 on the button

Frankie playing 400,000+ in the small blind passes

Skalie passes the big blind

Frankie shows...Two black Queens!!!

Wadey flips, in the height of understandable frustration, two black kings

"just my luck" says wadey

the table is open mouthed, the dealer almost gasps, but stops himself

frankie stands "my hand was all in or fold"

he raises his eyebrows, smiles....and sits down

Think wadey needs to careful when looking at his cards

they are ona  cigarrete break

agreed to shorten the levels to 25 minutes at the start

skalie started like a house on fire

10-8 on 9-K-8-K-8 being paid off

4-3 paid off by A-K on 7-9-6-4-7

giving wadey a walk when Wadey AAin the big blind

QQ on 3-Q-6-5-5, Wadey had the case Q

Then at 10m to 4m down wadey staged a recovery and got back even with 99 on 4-2-3-4-7, calling a 1m bet on a flush card river to win the pot

skalie then began to pull away again 7-5 on 7-K-7-3-6 paid off on turn and river

4-2 calling a raise and paid on 7-6-5-3-9

Wadey then got another walk, holding AA. Skalie has raised 95% of buttons and Wadey's two walks, Aces both times

on the break skalie 8m wadey 6m at 60-120k
