I have backed Steven.  25/1 hills, 16/1 Betfair.  I haven't seen a second of the show, but that must be good?  Come on Chompy, get home.

Really thin market though, so a bit useless as an indicator if 25/1 is too big or not.

Love the bad assumption.  $25k traded when I looked.  $100 on the fastest lap in F1.  Sure it's fairly useless regardless, but punters going to punt.  Going to be very swingy for a few days.  Wouldn't be surprised to wake up to see him at 50/1.

So Helen got a pass to the final yesterday, usually 5 people in the final? If so she only has to beat 2 to get in the top 3 and she is 11/2 with 365 1/5 top 3. Does this make her a bet regardless?

Just been catching up and like Danielle at fancy prices.

The only four with anything about them imo are Chris, Christopher, Jale and Danielle. Would prefer Christopher to Chris and Jale currenty.

If Danielle survives this week's eviction, as I'm expecting, she has the potential for a price crash at some point. Have chucked £££ on her at 50-1 as a potential trade. If she does go, there'll be no major damager done. Also like her at 22-1 for top woman.

If Danielle wins i'm stopping paying my TV License. Such a bigoted hypocrite, can't stand the cow. The jocks do like to get behind their own though, fingers crossed it's not a pre independence show of force.

I have seen it for about 5 minutes this year and managed to take a strong dislike to her in that time.  I was thinking I must have caught her on a bad day.  Steven looks abs terrible value too, mugs who follow Betfair markets deserve all they get.

Jale and Pauline definitely up next week, plus I'm guessing two others.

Pauline could be the shortest price ever for eviction having been favourite to win the show less than a week ago.

Really not liking this bb, think people like Steven have never watched before, it's a gameshow and they are acting like it's the end of the world. Also what's all the love for Pauline in there? She is no better than anyone else yet they all treat her like a queen. Chris, Jale, Christopher and Winston for me, the rest need to grow up and stop being bullies.

Actually watching it tonight I can see Winston winning, not a bad bone in his body, the way he looked after Jale in the garden and made sure she wasn't on her own is a champions performance.

Awful, awful bunch. None of them can win. They need to go back to the old selection methods for next year.

Still think Danielle has a charge in her and don't see her being up for eviction for a while. Will go back in again if she hits 50-1+ this week.

I've took the plunge, Winston 13/2 with Bfsb 1/5 1/2/3 for a wedge and Top Man 7/2 with sb ( and a few others). I like Chris a lot but can't have him at the current price, should have done him at the start but ho hum.

Winston is a bit like Brian Belo but without the comedy. Hard to see him not finalling though.

Only 3 firms prices up so far for next eviction, Pauline will be evicted. She is getting 80% of the votes on the forums and is hated. I'm hard pressed to think of a more public hated housemate that is loved by the housemates - Chompy?  Bf go 1.08, Chroals 1.17 and boyles 1.22. Very tempted to lump on Boyles as I can't see anyone else giving away much, but I will hold out for the rest to price up just in case although if this isn't a 1.01 shot then I'll never watch bb again.

As I thought, should of taken 1.22 on Pee being evicted best now is 1/14. Next time no waiting.

Had a little ew tickle on Matthew 16-1 with Bfsb, think there might be something about him which will come through when a few of the stronger characters have been evicted : Pee, Steven, Toya would be the ones to go sharpish for me.

Hope they all think Pauline is in a secret house.

Danielle doing exactly what I'd hoped. She's now the third shortest-priced girl behind Slugsworth and the American ice maiden.

There's still some 10-1 about top female, which is way too big. Should be nearer 5-1 in this market. I'm full up.

There has to be a bet in the Top Woman Market.

Jale is on the slide and didn't feature among the two with fewest votes in tonight's six-way eviction poll.

She's still 5-4 favourite and opposable in a market in which several can't win.

All we have left is Kimberly 4-1, Ashleigh 9-2, Danielle 6-1, Helen 7-1 and Toya 14-1.

Helen's only chance is that she doesn't have her pass to the final revoked, as she'll get the boot the first time she's up otherwise. I'm thinking the free pass to the final might be good enough for her to win this.

Toya has zero chance, Ashleigh is too young and won't get much beyond halfway. I'm on Danielle at 25-1 but wouldn't be backing her at 6-1 at the moment.

Kimberly at 4-1? Maybe. But it must be better than a 7-1 chance that Helen ends up in the final with four guys?

I've been looking as well and I really want to find a bet, however they are all very weak for various reasons. personally I can't have any of them at the prices. Helen may have a chance now Pauline is gone and she was pulled up for bullying so has changed her tune abit, but I'd want nearer 10's at the moment. I think your bet on Danielle will be the winner, she has really started to relax and is even listening to others conversations about "sex" .  I think I'll be leaving this market alone for now. Goodluck with your bet.

Take your point but they're such a loathsome bunch and five of the top six in the outright market are boys.

The only exception is Jale, who's only gonna drift from here imo.

Is it five or six in the final?

Either way, Helen will be joined by, at most, one other girl on the last night, which makes 7-1 a bet for me.

Main thing stopping me making her a max is that I can't stand the girl. Whoever the other girl in the final is, if there is one, would be a very short price to beat her.

That's exactly the problem, it's not just u that hates her, it's everyone. She would have been the only person that would have stopped Pauline being evicted ( or at least run it closer than 70+%) She will have to put in a monumental performance to change public opinion on her. That being said someone has to be top woman and if she keeps her pass ( which there is no reason why she shouldn't, but u know what speculation is like) she could automatically be top woman by default, which obviously makes 7-1 huge. Worth a small cover for entertainment value I suppose as the girls really are woeful.

I would say so, she has been lucky as she really is a loathsome character and she will not have other horrible people to hide behind soon.

Question, will the Northern Irish vote like the scots did when one of their own is in there (Cameroon if I remember right? ) always seems t me like regional places (sorry countries, but I was also thinking of Liverpool) get behind their fellow countrymen. So either Ashleigh or Mark?

Was talking to my wife about this yesterday, what's her motive for going on BB? According to Helen yesterday when she was telling Ash about it she said she couldn't say who it was and it was the other girl that sold the story, I just don't get what she is upto, by all accounts she sounds like she is not proud of what she done, she has her own business and a nearly teenage son, you can bet your life that the one thing you can count on is she will be all over the papers "reliving" what happened. Why would she want to go through it again? Put her kid through it? Has to be all about the money for her surely?

If Helen starts bullying again, and I don't doubt she will, I think she'll lose her final pass.

On bots Emma had a rant over how she should lose it and I feel someone with 'the power' will likely get a chance to remove it eventually.

I agree that 7-1+ seems big regardless of this because it's very likely the final will be all male unless her pass stays valid.

Thank god Pauline has gone.

Cheers for highlighting the 1-5 initially available omn, was more like a 1-20 shot. :)

Title: Re: big brother calling chompy
Post by: Chompy on June 21, 2014, 04:39:20 PM
The American ice maiden seems to be doing consistently well in early polls. Better than Jale even when Jale was getting picked on by Pauline.

If we assume Toya can't be top bird, which she amost certainly can't, the best prices on the other four against Jale are:

Kimberly 4-1
Ashleigh 5-1
Daniellle 6-1
Helen 8-1

That's a combined 4-6 shot. Can leave it at the moment.

Title: Re: big brother calling chompy

Jesus Helens such a bitch. Will big brother punish her for further bullying? Surely?

Title: Re: big brother calling chompy
Post by: Omm on June 22, 2014, 09:15:11 AM
Finally at last one of the girls is showing a bit of character. Ashleigh last night showed that she is anti Helen at the moment and explained why. This will def go in her favour, I've taken the 9/2 top woman, can see her price crashing if she continues the bit of effort she made last night.

"Hurricane Toya" doing her best to go the same way as Pauline, deluded absolutely deluded. Either her or Matthew will be up as well. If it's her she should be the same sort of price as Pauline. Keeping a look out for the market.

Toya is horrific and will be rightly disliked massively.

Never seen such a contradiction as her.

She is the most aggressive person in that house-bar maybe Helen- and it's comical the way she tells people to calm the f*** down as soon as anyone dares question anything she does.

One of her and Matthew will also be up this week and obv hopefully it's her and gg another nightmare housemate.

She bullied the weaker housemates and now someone dares stand up to her she just ups the volume level.

Doubt anyone will like her at all.

marlon is some competition too i think.

women vote way more than men and she was trying to stand up and play the real woman card.

Title: Re: big brother calling chompy
Post by: Nico29 on June 23, 2014, 11:54:16 AM
She was shouting as much as she could, as rudely as possible without a hint of class or intelligence.

Marlon may have reacted strongly, but I think most would have tbh, even Winston did.

Would agree out of the ones nominated, along perhaps with the hypocrite Danielle (sorry chomps), he is her only possible competition to go.

But tbh, I'd make her heavy odds on to leave regardless.

Women also are more likely to vote women out because of the bitchy way they are perceived.

Toya is about as bad a bitchy type as you could get, apart from Helen-who as we know is exempt.

She thinks she doesn't bitch because she will scream abuse to their face rather than behind their backs-still bitching and worse-bullying.

Her only hope is that she turns on Helen-they've apparently had a huge row-and somehow gets the sympathy vote.

But even then I can't see anyone bothering to vote bar against her.

Title: Re: big brother calling chompy

Think Toya will be somewhere around 1/2 to get the boot but it's nowhere near as nailed on as Pauline for me. Think Ash would be in danger but for all the little girlies thinking he's fit.

Jeez, what a horrendous bunch.

This is worrying.

Now they go 1/4, can prob leave it at that.

Notice they go 5/4 any1 to be kicked out this series and 1/3 some1 to quit.

Neither price really excites me but I guess gun to head would back the former on price.

Think Helen would be odds on to get ko'd if they were as strict on rules as in prev years.

Yeah 1/4 is not for me either, it's certainly getting predictable when the big mouths r up for eviction, in fact it makes it easy for the bookies, would have liked to seen Helen in the mix, bit tougher to price up but she would have just edged it.

Should start getting abit tougher after this unless another female wants to be " the alpha" and starts acting like a tyrant.

Jale is my fav girl by a long way.

Some of these bitches who think it's ok to dish it out then cry when they get it back need a good slap imo. Toya is deluded, goes on about youtube and her fanbase, bitch has 1000 subscribers.. her top video has 3k views, I've got a video with more than that.. How can she scream and wave her hand in their face then tell them to calm down?

Although people are trying to make this eviction closer than what it is, Toya at 1.29 could be value, in fact because of Marlon's odds coming in she may drift the closer we get to Friday. However the Telly mix poll which seems to be the biggest by far has Toya 1600 votes ahead of ASH for eviction with Marlon in third. Will watch the market with interest as this could well become a betting opportunity, just not 100% sure I want to bet a wedge on 1.29.

Title: Re: big brother calling chompy
Post by: Omm on June 25, 2014, 10:39:04 AM
Toya is out to 1.4 as there is a move on Ash( I had a little tickle at 8's and 6's still available) however he is still 1800 votes behind in the telly mix poll. It's possible that Toya could be closer to 1.8-2.0 on Friday at which point I think it's a bet. Some of what she was saying yesterday made sense I think it's just the way she says it that is the problem.

Thought about that last night funnily enough. Think this series is crying out for an Aaron. Or a Ben or a Dex. Mainly Aaron though.

Putting the other Rooney piece of trash in there to make Helen kick off again is the last thing it needs.

Think this could be Emma's last series. She doesn't seem into it and has bigger fish to fry. So we could be left with Rylan pretending that those in the house went through the usual process and beat 1000s of others to get in there. They really think viewers are that stupid?

Will watch the eviction tomorrow night but maybe just Fridays after that.

Can see now that a vote to get Ash out is really the only way of the public being able to hurt Helen, it might work if the editing continues like it is tonight.

Toya now 1.67 Ash 2.1

Toya and Ash 10-11 each of two with Skysurebet.

That's a massive overreaction imo. Toya still goes.

Agreed, big overreaction, Toya now odds against, public have been voting all week so it may be to late for Ash to catch Toya. Give Helen a drink she turns into an even worse demon than normal.

Emma should take over from Holly on This Morning.

I'm not sure.

Ash way too aggro tonight, also if you're team Helen I think you sign your own death warrant.

Next two days will decide it but make it evens the pair at mo.

Think tomorrow's edit will prob decide it.

Actually can't believe i'm saying this but Toya is more interesting than Ash as a housemate and I'd keep her in over that nutter.

Pads still have any housemate to be evicted for bad behaviour@11/10.

Surely with Helen in there it should be an odds on shot.

Very tempted to get involved.

She is an absolute psychopath.

Ashlee vs Helen soon I think.

" I will rip you to pieces, not literally but lyrically" - Yeah ok Eminem.

Matthew is such a boss, how can you lot not be loving this series?

Christopher is ridic bad at sticking up for himself but love the way he tries. Would love to see an Ashleigh vs Helen tear up, reckon Ashleigh will be able to give as good as she gets if she goes for it.

Matthew, Jale, Winston and Marlon are my current favs.

Helen, Danielle, Ash, Ashleigh and Toya are my least favs the rest are just meh.

Eviction night tonight and It's as simple as will Ash get enough votes to catch the lead Toya would have had at the beggining  of the week, half way through I said if she goes evens she may be a bet.  Obviously things went dramatically the other way and she is now 5/2 with Ash heavy odds on. Anyone got any thoughts on this?

Don't think it's as clear cut as the current market is making out.

Be more interested to see which two have picked up the fewest votes. Unlikely to be Jale imo, so perm any two of Winston, Chris and the wasp.

The wasp could be a market mover if he's in the two.

Gun to head would say Toya's slight and by slight I mean 'a faint sliver'-of value@5/2 out of the two of them.

I have done most of my work on this market already and have squared it up so that I have a nice green book.

Think from the edits it's fairly clear they'd like the friend of Satan to leave and keep in 'ev1 needs to stfu'.

Depends if they can hide Toya away tonight enough in the edit so that she can't give Ash a lifeline by shouting her mouth off.

Title: Re: big brother calling chompy

Probably trying to find a bet and I shouldn't, got Ash at 8-1 so I'll leave it at that, backed Toya just to get stake back on Ash. Probably best if he goes so that it breaks Helen, she might not be such a witch without him.

Paddy had ash at 1/10 Toya 4-1 guess her lead was too far in front

If anyone likes a short one 1/8 with Coral is to short for Ash to get Evicted, should be 1/100, nobody else will be going the only other person that could go is Matthew but people will be voting Ash because of Helen. The tellymix poll has him with over5000 votes which is 78%

Title: Re: big brother calling chompy

The odds are tumbling on the anti -Helen that is Ashleigh, don't know if it's just me but I'm rather uncomfortable with how she is acting, rather than being honest about how she feels she has become some demon smiling assassin, hiding her true feelings from everyone other than Danielle but we get to see what she is fully capable of.  She is everything Helen is but just doesn't admit it. Be interested to see how this develops, might bring a great betting opportunity.

Don't get this series.

Matthew was one of the few ok housemates.

Vile Ash stays, must have been like 50 votes or something.

Thought Ash was big value@1/6 earlier myself too and weighed in accordingly.

Helen is the most horrific person ever seen on this show.

Looks like the producers like this.

Yawn.

Prob gonna slack this show off finally!

6 pages in and not one mention of Mark .... :(

Mark Winston & Helen in top 3 imo..

Think Steven will get chosen to get booted this week, and Pav will get evicted by the viewers. Then it's bye bye Danielle, Bianca, little Chris in any order, think Chris will go next week he is totally fed up and doesn't add anything to the house. Helen has been up and down like a rat up a drainpipe, think her and Bianca will kick off if Bianca starts flirting with Ash...

Winner def comes from Mark or Winston, can't see Helen top 3 myself, dont even see her being top girl as at least Ashleigh will outlast her (usually 5 or 6 in the final?) Can see Kimberly or Danielle going this week, edging Kimberley as it looks like they will want to take one out of that group and Steven is making an effort with them, if that happens Steven could walk as it will drive him nuts not knowing what Kim is upto (Steven is a proper passive control freak). Personally I need Winston to win and Ashleigh top Girl to scoop but Mark winning and Danielle top girl wouldn't be a disaster even a mixture of the two. Stopped betting weeks ago as couldn't bare to watch it every night, skim through on sky + now.  Proper letdown this series, if it wasn't for Emma I'd probably have stopped watching. Far too many showbiz/TV types hand picked for z list fame. At least Bianca has given a few hands in front of eyes moments and I'm sure Helen was getting a bit fruity during that dance. They will be looking for a lesbian love scene to save the show next, you heard it here first..............

Mark has been done at 20-1 Dreenie, you could have told us then!

Scuybet have prices on this week's eviction.

Christopher, Ash, Winston and Mark aren't on the radar at all, and the three newbies have pretty much given away already that they're not thinking of putting up one of the popular housemates, so Ashleigh and Chris seem unlikely.

That leaves Danielle (2/1), Kimbot (11/4) and the second-hand car salesman (6/1).

I'd have Kimbot as favourite, and Steve about the same price as Danielle.

Of course tonight's show could change things but that's part of the gamble.

If they decide that too many girls have gone already and that Kimbot-Steve combo needs breaking up, the 6/1 Steve has to look very fair.

I was allowed £4.17, oi oi! One time etc

Yeah glad she's gone, complete fake imo, defiantly deserves to go.. Steven or Chris should be out this week, would say Chris more but could be pretty close...
Although Mark should be favourite the public might fall in love with the light on nobody home Winston, so should be a lot closer than what people generally think it could be.

Very happy this house with a mouse is gone (in a scottish) accent...

Would be backing steven to walk this week after tonight's news... He should leave if he thinks anything of kim, but a million % the housemates will nominate him because they will use the reason that they should be together.

defo think he gets evicted if up this week then it's gotta be little chris, he is boring 2 faced and snidy imo.

Kimbot pregnant (nap).

If they hadn't messed with the format, Danielle would still be in there and we could have traded the top bird market.

Wretched series, wretched housemates.

Chris ftw

Title: Re: big brother calling chompy
Post by: dreenie on July 20, 2014, 04:55:11 PM
Yeah, I heard the cheers he got, however I still think he brings nothing to the house and is a snidey one to watch... Steven should go this week then who knows, but if Chris has a bad week then it should his time up...

I don't think Kim is pregnant, they only did it a few day's ago and u would not realise within a week imo.

I think she will go back to her boyfriend anyway and fob Steven off, he is so irratating !

Guessing mark is a lock?

Although he is really funny, think he hasn't done himself any favours with his behaviour towards Christopher. Ashleigh apprantley in the mix now. She seems a nice girl but a bit boring. Like Helen, even tho she has been controvosial she just seem a right old laugh.

Little Chris or Pav to go this week, think Pav might get one more week as the public think he is being vindicated which is slightly true, would prefer little Chris to go, he doesn't bring anything to the house.

Might apply next year :/ haha

Yeah someone said she was favourite. Still think it's wide open and thinking about it more I would rather Helen to win as just feel she's had the biggest journey out of everyone. Really warming to Ash to, he just seems like a genuinely nice guy.

Little Chris has to go! How can noone see what I see?!. I mean he slates Pav and says how much of a "game player" he is yet does his best actor impression yet when he holds a chat with Helen, I mean just how fake can one person really be. Literally has me wanting to jump into the tv to confront him.

The more I think about the more I believe I would be a perfect housemate. Seems like in this century no oneYeah someone said she was favourite. Ashleigh may have just shot herself in the foot sniping at Christopher. Think it's between him and Winston for the win now.

Ashleigh still probs top 3 but worth a lay now given still under 2.8 IMO.

My prediction:

1st Winston
2nd Christopher
3rd Ashleigh
4th Mark
5th Helen
6th Ash
7th Zoe
8th Pav
9th Chris

Such a low-key launch. Stashing it away on an ITV also-ran channel and kicking off on a Monday not ideal though.

Betfair is as of another era as Big Brother but even so £1.7k matched would have been six figures ten years ago.

Will have a look tonight, see what they've gone for contestant-wise, but not hopeful.
