Title: Timing tell software
Post by: superwomble on July 28, 2014, 10:32:38 PM
I've just been spammed with this link on Twitter but wondered if anyone had seen it/used it? It's a timing tell software for Stars and Full Tilt.

Pretty sure stars won't allow the randomizer feature. Largely useless when many people multitable or watch tv/porn etc.

That's what I was thinking too.

Interestingly, I've just been notified of an update to HEM which includes this: http://forums.holdemmanager.com/notecaddy/471062-notecaddy-2-5-beta-we-did-all-glory-love.html

Now, using NoteCaddy, you can get TIMING TELLS.

Timing tells for online poker are extremely dangerous things to base expensive decisions on, if you remember a Pleno thread in PHA recently part of his analysis of a hand was that the player went AI on the river very quickly on a board changing river card, Pleno said that he thought if the guy had X or Y hand then he'd have expected him to either not Jam, or at least give it more than 1.5 seconds thought...

That's the sort of relevance timing tells  should have in online poker, exploitative pieces of extra information you've been paying enough attention to notice, try to use timings as a factor in lots of decisions is so dangerous when people can be on skype/messing around on forums, have gotten a watsapp msg or just playing a ton of tables.

Treat timing tells online with indifference for the most part, imo.
