Haven't ventured to DTD for a short while now but I thought I might play this until I now see that day 2 final doesn't start until 3:30, what time is this expected to finish now? I know it's a long shot that I make day 2 let alone make the final but some of have to work on Monday.

Surely if there is a need to keep adding all these day ones and making each day a re-entry in order to make the guarantees then surely the tournament is wrong??

schedule is on http://www.dusktilldawncasinonottingham.com/news/500-deepstack/2449

A Sunday turbo day one has been introduced to the multi-day tournament weekends recently. Simon saw this work well when he visited the US/WPT in the summer and incorporated it recently into the DTD Schedules, where so far it has been popular

Allows those people who don't want to/haven't got the time to play a day one then come back for a day 2 to play a deepstack in a day....

the Turbo day one starts at midday, and finishes in time for qualifiers to play the Day 2 in mid-afternoon

Simon to advise if he sees

Ok thanks mate, dont think I'll be attending again as I need to be up at 6am for work on Monday. It's a shame how things have changed over the last couple of years. I'm sure some have benefited from these changes but on a selfish perspective it has made it unattendable for me.

I'm with bobAlikeon on this one its not very friendly for the traveling player what with the late finnish on day one so that's a hotel then when you get kicked out at 11 you got 4 1/2 hrs to hang around for day 2 to start

Couldn't they do a turbo flight on the Saturday? So day 1c starts at 1pm with a turbo flight at 8 perhaps or just after late reg closes for day 1c?

The whole idea of the turbo flight is to not have to travel twice/stay overnight.  I think its a great idea.  Conversely i understand how annoying it would be to play on Saturday and have to hang around until 330pm to restart.  It's a tough balance pleasing everyone.
