eric I am happy you got my last 160 chips and not JJagster. Would love to know what his thought proccess was before hitting allin for 1600 to win a 300 pot with Boss set (no flush or str8 draw there). I assumed it would all be proficient players so maybe TT or Ak was the probable hand. To make matters even worse he says one of the things I absolutely hate online- sorry you were ul. No I bloody wasnt I called what looked like a bluff, if you were really sorry about flopping top set you would have milked me to the river and took a certain few chips- not gone allin and took the lot. Jag you are off my christmas card list and I will be gunning for you in the next blonde tourney ;)

It can be a good play yes if the board looks like it could have helped your opponent. I will sometimes use the play with a set if there is an ace with a couple of players in, one of them is likely to have a big ace and read as a bluff. I will never bet boss set(unless it is a scary board and I am happy to take the pot) this way as how can you be certain you are going to win anything? Lousy play, me the numpty for calling it and I believe he will get crucified by eric and donkey.

exorcism this is a live thread so when you get knocked out by a numpty you immediately type in a little friendly abuse ;) When you have calmed down(usually about 5 mins later) you read what you typed and think "did I really just type that". This is one of the reasons that I should never be approached when leaving a cardroom with that just been knocked out look on my face. Give me 10 mins to have a cig and calm down and then(and only then) is it safe to speak to me ;D
If getting knocked out doesnt hurt/doesnt matter what the hell you playing for?

It's easy. Just buy a big plate of chocolate cakes and sausage rolls and place them strategically in eyeline but out of my reach. That occupies my mind fully and I forget about poker altogether.

And just staying with that thieving stealing At It Merchant for a few moments, the aggravating thing is that you KNOW he's gonna do it, but it's hard to stop him, he fires all 4 barrels, & never stops. We shared many a starting table, I always resolve not to let him run the table. He always does though. Usually, with these loose cannons, it means easy chips on the reraise. Not him, he just RRR's. I am afraid that it's guys like Keith that make me realise what a gulf there is between the real players, &, if you don't mind me saying so on behalf of 95% of poker players, "us".

But that's not the point of the post. It's that we guys just LOVE to take the big shots on, and at 20, last night was good value. Great that a guy like Keith even bothered, eh?

Precisely. 20 is the largest buyin online tournament I have ever played in and I'm really glad I did - it was special. Great players, great atmosphere and great structure.

i remember i was sat next to keith last year in the P4C pot limit final  in newcastle, he was sat directly on my right (i went on to win :) )  i only played him once since then in blackpool,  both times tho he didnt raise half as mutch as he does on your tables lol, mind u he was short both times lol,

im glad i never run him to him with a stack, dont think my passive aggressive game would work well in that invoroment i prob end up callin him with 2-7 then foldin the flop :( lol
