Ok so who would be up for doing a football syndicate for this Saturday where we will be playing for a cool £1 million

Not sure how many of you have seen Colossus bet before or played it but every Saturday and can play for £1million for guessing the result in 15 football matchs

the good think is if you are not sure we can Back Home/Draw/Away result

so in one on the games this weekend  Everton-Aston Villa  we could back     Home and the draw to cover our self

Its £2 a play and the more you cover the more your ticket costs you i think if we can get £5k we can have a good go at this

Colossus will match our 1st £500 bet

I would say never sell the ticket.

You are very unlikely to get the full value of the ticket by closing early.

You don't have to sell the whole ticket you can sell it in 10% blocks

We could have 3 games to go and they could offer 300k for it we could sell 30%
For £90k and we would be then playing for £700k jackpot

Plus if it comes to selling anything it will be after Sunday night after the stoke game and we would have until
Tuesday when the last 3 games are to discuss it

So looked on the site and  £864 means we get  432 lines if we add another result onto that it means we have 864 lines and the Bet it £1728

So If we cap it £430 we get that matched so we have £860 and i will add the £4

So we only have £110 left

That's the problem with syndicates on football, everyone has an opinion.

I favour Burnley v West Ham and most definitely favour Brighton over Boro.

BUt as you're organising the thing, I'm happy to go with your predictions.

I'm not sure how best to go about these things but we're backing all 3 outcomes twice. I would have thought you need to just take a position and back 2 of the 3 results at most. Any maths guys an opinion on that?
Like Keith, I'm not overly keen on WH winning at Burnley. I reckon the draw is a big runner there. Also, I'm not hugely keen on this current United team winning away anywhere at the moment. Away wins are obviously statistically less likely so to not cover with draws I would want to have a very heavy fav (like Chelsea @ Palace). WH and a transitional United don't fill me with that confidence at all.
Personally, I'd drop the 3 result covers to 2 (home + draw?) and put in 2 draw covers in the Burnley + United games.

However, totally happy with whatever you want to do, I'm only mentioning my thoughts in case you wanted any feedback. I understand somebody has to make a decision otherwise you'd have a case made for every single result in every single game!

I agree, I would probably take a position on 2 results, rather than 3..... and use the "extra" cover on a draw elsewhere.
But as said just go for whatever you feel....beginners luck will get us through to an offer on Sunday night I'm sure  :)
