Not quite.

It's a single re-entry per opening day but you can, if you so desire, re-enter the same day in the event of a nasty accident early doors.

One thing in this upcoming UKPC which should, however, interest the Recreationals, is the introduction of a genuine "Mini" Event.

It has a £110 buy-in & a £200,000 Guarantee.

Read that again - £110 Buy-In, & £200,000 Guarantee. The Top 50 will all get a £1,000 Main Event Seat, too.

I really think that, for Recreationals, that's almost as good as it gets.

I assume it's ok to stack sat entries?

If we have seats from sky sat, dtd online sat and a sat from a live event (the mini for example), which takes priority when it comes to using them? Can any of them be used for the 8max side? And what happens to the seats if they're unused?

"If players win multiple seats whether from Sky/DTD or both then they can used for re-entry or side events of their choice £1K 8 Max would be the obvious choice rather than HR but they can upgrade to HR if they wish - the only thing we don't allow is to transfer to other players.
 
Usually the Sky seat would be used first and if the DTD seat was unused over the festival they could use for future £1K events at DTD."

So my brother won a sky seat in the grand prix but he away when they play it what are his options can he sell the seat or does he have to paly the game any advice would be grand

the DTD team will write to all seat winners before the event to ask them to choose a starting day. he can reply then and say he is away and ask them to confirm his options

ALL Sky Poker qualifiers have been allocated a "default" opening day, to save it getting too messy with so many people wanting different opening days.

Trying to change those via Sky Poker might be a bit painful, (they expect the best part of 150 qualifiers) but Tighty & I will be present on all Main Event days, & if you let us know (in advance) we can make the adjustments locally.

Similar question, already got a UKPC main seat via previous deepstack, however,might not able to make it - ( missus might deliver our twins that week :). Can we get seat credit if thats the case?

Apologies if this is covered elsewhere but whats the process for registration for the live legs of MINI UKPC?? Can you register online for the live legs or just at DTD ?? There are about 12 of us travelling up for the weekend for the Sat 21st live leg and I don't know how many of them have online accounts yet with Party....

having a blonde moment here...i was going to have a stab at the partypoker sat tonight for the mini...if i win are the online day ones on sky meaning the partypoker sats are for live only or are the online legs on party poker (can't see any in the lobby).

If Sky Poker, you will auto-regged for Day 1D, Friday 27th February, though if you prefer a different Day 1, just turn up, & come see Tighty or myself, & we'll sort it for you.

You should get an e-Mail in due course if it was on Sky Poker, but it's just blah-blah stuff.

You won't need to do anything else, you will be all sorted. 

If you qualified on Party Poker, then ignore all that, someone else, either Glenn or Tighty, will reply later today.

Yes

upsides and downsides. you avoid queues, but if you might be late you'd be in play/blinding off from the start

so the £1000 ukpc day one I c they changed the structure is it 14 levels or 12 for the live day ones

Just checking before I start the 300 mile drive, are we expecting any capacity issues or am I good to buy in on the day? Playing second/third flight Saturday and turbo Sunday if required.

I would expect it to be very busy, especially Saturday

Equally I would expect DTD to fit everyone in

but if you want to avoid queues or being on an alternates list, buy in via the DTD Shop in advance.

I'm sure it would run on say Saturday evening and given some people missed out on Monday migt allow extra players the chance to play.

There were 170 paid out of about 1950 total entries in the last Grand Prix and this seems to be a very similar set up, so was less than 10% last time.

Hey Simon, small point but worth getting it right to get max players in. You put on FB last night that 10.45pm was late entry to the online sat for the £1k event, I logged in about 10.30pm made a deposit expecting to be able to play, but when I tried to reg about 10.35pm it was already closed. Not a huge deal obviously, but probs worth checking precise details before posting.

I won a seat for the main last night (via the Mini) but am really struggling to play this week.  I was hoping to be able to hold the seat until a festival later in the year, but have just called the card room and been told this will only be possible if you make the GTD for the main?!

Have I got any options here? Really don't want risk losing the seat obv

I wouldn't be sweating it too much. I'll insure it for £100 if your that worried. (ie you pay £100 now and if it doesn't make it and you lose the seat I'll pay you £1k. I think this is a bad bet for you but don't want to risk a bag for £20.)

What a day, we were short on qualifiers but scraped the £1M GTE, with Samuel Trickett again being the 1000th entry! Because we hit the £1M GTE, the 16 players who won £1K seats for Sky UKPC in live club events will be able to carry them over rather than have them added to the prizepool.

I would just like to say on behalf of DTD and Sky, thanks for supporting us again, and huge thank you for all the staff who made today happen. With so many players in the £1K main and rammed to capacity, of course, we were unable to start the 8 max, so I have spent the last hour consulting with players and decided to run the 8 Max tomorrow at £500+£50 buy-in, £50,000 GTD (so half the buy-in but same number of runners).
