Title: Gaggleokings WPT £3k Main.
Post by: youthnkzR on November 18, 2014, 01:13:29 AM
Hi guys, looking to sell up to 50% of the £3k WPT Main (1b) on weds 19/11/2014.

Above is my online player group as of tonight.

Why buy:

Experience:

- I've played nearly 8000 online MTTs in my lifetime, which literally must translate into hundreds of thousands, if not millions of hands of poker. This amount of experience would take multiple lifetimes for any players who play solely live poker to amass (which a lot of this field will be made up of).

- I've played numerous early to mid 4 figure buyin tournaments - both live and online, and therefore will know roughly what standard to expect from the field. This also means that I should and will handle things such as pressures of money bubbles, play when deep...etc, much better than people would who are going to shot take this - of which I think there would be many in such a prestigious event, ran as such a popular place.

- DTD are adding lots of seats / running lots of satellites to this event. This makes the tournament accessible to a player pool; lacking in experience in poker terms, lacking in experience in buy in terms, and finally lacking the means / funds to buy in fully. I feel these players will be a lot easier to 'exploit' due to being things e.g. 'money scared' to an extent - the bubble of a £3000 tournament is significantly more to somebody who gets in for £300, rather than £3000...etc. These kind of reasons in turn should and will mean that there is significantly more value in the field than if none of these were run.

- I've played enough live events in the UK now, to be able to spot most of the better live players. This will save a lot of time when originally figuring the table out.

Trustworthiness:

- I've sold numerous packages on here, with no problem what so ever.

- I've sent out returns to people on this forum in excess of $50,000.

- A number of people on here know where I live!

Ability:

I feel I have the ability to represent significant value to investors, when playing vs the projected field. This can be backed up via my online results, achievements including:

- Have made at least one final table in each of Pokerstars annual tournament series (TCOOP, SCOOP, WCOOP).

- Have FT'd many other significant majors, including; iPoker Major (1st), Sunday $109+R (x2), Many Bigs / Biggers (including Bigger 109) - all within the last 12 months.

- Although I don't have any major live scores to my name, I have been close on a few occasions including a 27th in the Irish Open over Easter this year (losing AK ss vs JJ for 1/27 and a final table stack and more recently coming 22nd in GUKPT Blackpool (although this was a few off the money, we had chips the entire way through and ran pretty cold when stacks got shallower; including JJ < AA for 30bbs each and check calling 3 with A9dd on  Td 2d 9s 5h Ac vs Triggs  Ahrt Th , which left me fairly crippled stack wise.

The Feel-Good Factor:

- I've recently gone back to grinding online MTTs fulltime, and have invested a lot of time in both playing and studying this format of the game.

- I've know a good bunch of solid players, who I regularly discuss hands / strategy with, so am always gaining experience.

- I'm playing the most confidently I ever have. This is not an exaggeration, I went to GUKPT Blackpool thinking I was actually going to win, although I didn't do this, I played my A game throughout, and if it wasn't for a bit of a cold deck in a couple of spots, may have gone on to do a lot better.

- Have had some near misses online recently, including a ~20th in the big 109 tonight, and 20th in the $530 888 Whale last night. Have also had form recently managing to FT the $265ko two days in a row (2nd for $5k and 7th), 2nd in a big 11r for $4.5k, 1st in a 44t for $5k...etc to name a few. One day two weeks ago I made 7 final tables in 1 night.

Confirmation:

I'm looking to sell 50% of the £3000 WPT Main Event (day 1b), at a markup of 1.1.

2.5% = £82.50
5% = £165
10% = £330
25% = £825
50% = £1650

Payment must be by Bank Transfer or Stars (would prefer Bank X).

* Any leaderboard prizes / extra prizes won - trophies...etc will not roll over to investors, unless it is directly taken out of the prizepool.
** I'm about 95% likely to be playing this, may skip if the day 1a field seems ridiculously tough - which is very unlikely.
*** 40% minimum must be sold in order for me to play.

Thanks guys!

Review:

Levels 1-2

Table draw was good, deffo coulda been worse. A lot of open limping going on, and a few guys who seemed pretty inexperienced. There was one annoying pot I lost when I peeled an open with  9s Js from the BTN vs a HiJack open to 400 @ bb 150 (we were both well over 200bbs deep) everyone else folds,   4d 6c 7s , he bets 500, I decide to peel one off as theres a lot of good turn cards for me (spades, 5 s- which he'll shut down on tons, 8 s , 9 s, Jacks, and probably gives up on a lot of other turns)...etc , turn was  8c , he checks, I bet 900 he calls. River is a  4h , he checks, I bet 2600, he calls and shows the  Ad Qs for a very optimistic call as I literally have to have the hand I hand AND have decided to float a flop. Oh well...... This pot aside, we had no other hiccups in chipping up to 35k by first break.

Levels 3-4

Table still good, no one moved. Only hand of note was opening  Ad Ac to 500 @ bb200 / ante25, getting 3bet by a guy who was going beserk down the end of the table (his BTN) to 1400, and deciding to peel instead of 4betting. This turned out to be a mistake as he bet / bet / checked back on  Jh Jd 2s 4s 2h and showed down  Qd Qh which was pretty annoying as he tanked river for 2-3 mins, and was playing with his chips before he decided to check back in the end. In hindsight I regret my decision not to 4b this particular instance but I think hes light there so so much of the time that peeling / letting him barrel is prob better longterm. With the inclusion of this pot we ended these 2 levels with slightly under 40k.

Levels 5-6

The table got worse for us when Stato was sat at the table, but 3 seats to my right. Most frustrating two levels by far. Started perfectly - UTG opening to 700 @ bb300/a25 (has got a stack and is opening a lot, will refer to him as table captain for rest of this), Guy from MP (who called us down with AQ, and was having some banter with UTG) 3bets to 1800, we find  Jd Jc on the button and make it 4100, UTG folds and MP calls.  Jh 8c 3d flop. Check, check.  Qh he bets 5200, I call. River  5d, he checks, I set him in for his remaining 15k, he tanks for a good 5 mins and calls... it turns out he called me with  5s 6s after the dealer accidently flipped his cards when trying to muck them. Around an 3 orbits later, @ bb400/a50, table captain opens to 900, I find  Ad Ks on the BTN and 3bet to 2500, guy in BB who has been getting beat up all day and looked clearly over it cold 4 bets to 6100, captain folds, I set him in for his 22k stack and he has the  Ac Ahrt. Back to 40k.

Levels 7-8

Table gets worse again, Middy joins. Float around the 40k mark for a bit, then the significant hand happens: Open  7d 7c from HJ to 1400 @ bb600/a50. Guy (who had chipped up quite well up to now without showdown, however the way he handled chips made him seem quite inexperienced - at live poker atleast) peels SB. BB folds.  Ad 9s 4d flop, he checks, I bet 1600 he calls. Turn   6d, he checks, I bet 3100 (will explain after) he fumbles some chips, cuts out raising chips and in the end after 2 mins decides to make a call and looks super uncomfortable about it. River  Js, he checks, I bet 7700, he tanks for atleast 3-4 mins before flicking in a call. He shows down  Aspades 8c (yep A8 off suit peeled from SB, and called turn without a diamond). I know 77 isn't a great hand to barrel this board with, especially on this run out, however the way he was acting made me feel he didn't have a great hand, which it turned out he didn't. I hadn't really taken too many hands to showdown myself so I kinda feel like he was just interested to see what I had which was a bit annoying, pretty sure he almost folded as well. We we're now down to 22k ish, which we quickly chipped up to 40k again by winning small pots without showdown.

Level 9

BB 800, Middy is BB and just gets to table as dealer drags in his cards, so its dead BB. I'm UTG+1 and find  Ac Ahrt, make it 1800. SB defends.  Ks Qs 5c flop. Check, I bet 2500, he calls. Turn  Kd, check / check. River   3c. He bets 2500, I sigh call getting like 5/1 and he had  Kh Qh. Next hand is boring. Then its Middys BTN, CO and HJ - all 3 times theres an open before him, all 3 times he 3bets and either gets it through or barrels them off post flop. Hand after guy to Middys right raises (2nd hand in a row) to 1700, Middy 3bets for 4th time in a row to 4700, I cold 4bet to 8300 with  Th Tc, he asks how much I started the hand with (31k) before making it like 19k and committing himself. 10s too good to 4b fold vs someone so wild with 35bbs, we get it in he has  Kc Kd and the board bricks for us - 30 mins before the end of the day. How he finds KK after being so f relentless is beyond me!

Sorry guys!
