Title: Happy to lose?
Post by: david3103 on May 24, 2015, 01:40:44 PM
I find myself rooting for my team to lose today.

Three points are worth far more to Hull City than they are to Manchester United and the added bonus of seeing Newcastle relegated will provide huge amounts of entertainment.

So,  COME ON YOU TIGERS!!!

Living in a world full of ABUs it's amusing to watch other teams implode occasionally.
The NUFC story over recent years has provided a lot of entertainment, as have Liverpool although I rarely worry about what they, or City are doing.
I'm possibly one of the most balanced fans on here, but today's situation made me think about how much United owe to Steve Bruce and how much more entertainment Newcastle's relegation and seasons in the Championship would provide.

apologies to the many Newcastle fans on here and elsewhere.

You're definitely not.

I think you'll find I own that title.

I hate every team equally.

How can any manure fan who doesn't live in manure be balanced?  I have been to manure (50 times with betfair alone in 10 years) more than 99.9% of manure fans globally have been themselves.  There is no such thing as a balanced manure fan imo.

You are of course entitled to your opinion.

Stoke did well today.

Thought the original post was banter, dont think anyone sees it any different? No need for apologies. For peeps with teams whos position wasnt at stake it is natural to want some interest and toon fans have had to live with being the team most neutrals want to go down. Its the whole us being a big club and hull a small one lolololol everyone cheering for the underdog.

Steve bruce is the finest manager newcastle never had.

I would happily wager less than 99.9% of global manure fans have been to old trafford more than 50 times in their life.  How can you fixed my post btw?  Other than say manure = old trafford or Manchester United?

I would also refer you to John C's original statement which is massively true in 99% of manure fans.  Which was what this thread was really about not whether stoke had a good day today or whether you FYP.  I am entitled to my opinion and it is usually valid as i rely on it for my living. ;D

Well, obviously you're right. You always are. Apart from that time when you thought you were wrong, but weren't.

I'm wrong, therefore, but then I'm mythical anyway.

Still, what a great result for Leicester, again.
