Do you reckon it stings for Deadman to see Darvin Moon, Cindy Violette and Dewey Tomko quoted by the shouty red man and him not?

You can still back Vicky CM at 1000/1. The Chris Ferguson price has gone. I obviously ate up all the 250s...

Only fun £50 or max £100, although as they have started playing now, only if you don't know how he's getting on.

They are still using the prices Channing gave them for the WSOP in 2006 by the looks of things.

Noel Hayes playing the main, or has Hastings bought in, and worn a disguise?

Kevin Blake from ATR has flown out today for the UFC, and he said that he is already out there.

She's pretty much a stud player these days, isn't she? A good one, but a stud player. They can all play cards, but if you weren't chalking Deadman up as favourite in those four, questions might fairly be asked.

If anyone thinks I'm having a pop, I reckon there'd be a few people taking 8/11 on Darvin against me heads up. And rightly so :D

Not sure that correctly explains the position Mr Alex - 23% of those remaining will cash. That's 50% more than 15.6%.

I'm sure that there will be lots of single bracelet winners left too so your position is even stronger.  :)
I have to admit that it would be slightly irritating if Matusow made the November nine but I suspect that a lot of his creditors would be happy.

Btw I was discussing this at DTD last week with a well known Blonde and someone much more shrewd than me and he took Evs over 4.5 bracelets total so thought I would see if over 3.5 was attractive.
Gonna be a fun sweat anyway

He was pretty adamant we had the right side after I texted him yesterday that you were all knocking me over to take it.

Who knows?  GL Anyway and I suppose inwardly if you bink I can write it off for all the great work you put into the threads as a donation that you wouldnt normally accept ;)

Do you reckon it stings for Deadman to see Darvin Moon, Cindy Violette and Dewey Tomko quoted by the shouty red man and him not?

You can still back Vicky CM at 1000/1. The Chris Ferguson price has gone. I obviously ate up all the 250s...

I'm assuming you mean cos Cyndy Violette specialises in mixed rather than that she doesn't know pokering.

Cyndy Violette is into Day 3.   ::)

Cheers Keith but that will take the fun out of it as it would be risk free!

Plus the history is on my side.... Gut is telling me Hastings will final along with one other random with 1 bracelet for a small margin win for Rich.

Remember I told you on the phone yesterday that I was super close to taking Fedor Holz from the beginning on Ladbrokes for 250/1 or whatever.

Just shy of a million chips now doing into day 4. Sick.

I notice Mark Kroon is right up there again in 16th place with 807k.

Remember he was chip-leader two years ago until he gave more than half of them away:

You sure did. Might have been a good gut instict winner. Holz is someone i guess i want to tangle with some of the multiple bracelet winners and take them out. Good player loads of chips and no bracelets.

It's like a Room 101 of all my most disliked poker players.

They are all still in!

Negreanu
Esfandiari
Hastings
Stealthmunk
Men The Master
Bonomo
Hachem

All it needs is for them to discover a table tucked away in the corner with Nic Szermeta and Mark Strahan playing and the set is complete!

That is Men the Master who had a history and was caught putting counterfeit chips into play?

Someone pointed out Scotty Nguyen earlier and I mentioned the counterfeit chips but was corrected for it being Men, has he been involved?

Why are these cheats allowed to participate in any tournament in the world let alone WSOP Main Event with the most coverage and prestige, surely they should be setting a precedent and the cheats be hounded for it. Disgusting that Hastings just turns up as his news comes out and takes home a probable 7 figures from the Poker playing community very publicly and is celebrated and congratulated on doing so, when his name was announced at top of chip lead there was minimal fuss, just a few boos and cheat called out from 1000 in the room.

Well spotted.
A mis-match between De Silva and Desilva as he is listed on the Hendon Mob.
I wasn't sharp enough to spot the difference. :)

Not sure if anyone has mentioned, but Thomas Kearney has been streaming on Twitch for the past few months under the name ButtersPoker. Usually streams early morning for us/late night Pacific time, mainly $30 comps and 50/1 PLO.

Generally spends all his time on camera chain smoking and moaning about how bad he runs.

He put a package together for the WSOP and sold to his Twitch viewers, so he could be a very popular guy by Wednesday morning!

Is this the guy who sold 70% of his action at 1.7 or something like that?

There isn't any room to fit any more pins on my one!

pierre neuville really is a remarkable guy, at 72 hes changed his online game massively from somewhat of a fish station to a crazy aggro better player in the last 2 years. I can only imagine how many folds he gets. im rooting hard for him, and OG blonde poster WellChief (george macdonald) who i first played online with over 10 years ago!

Can I send you a big mallet? Was one of the few bets I laid before somebody offered 10 points more on the Betfair market.

This stealthmunk/danny dynamic is very interesting.  If it wasn't going to be so costly for me, those 2 would make a very interesting sideshow to the November 9.

Keith just fwiw on day 1 of the main event, I was in a corner table of Brasilia room.

On the adjacent table to me was DNegs. On my table was Huck Seed. Later in the day Ivey was on a table directly to my right.

Mr Seed was not at all endearing. He was unnecessarily rude to a floorman once too.

When Ivey came over he sat quietly with his headphones in and face in his phone the entire time. He did nothing wrong per se but if I was a rec who had satellited in or stumped up $10k for my once in a lifetime shot at the main event and got to play with Phil who was like that I'd have been mightily disappointed.

Neither Phil, Huck or anyone else have any obligation to chat and be friendly with everyone but it put into context what an ambassador Daniel is.

Daniel engaged with his whole table the entire day. He constantly got up and ushered railers and fans over to have pictures with him. He was a gentleman to everyone he spoke to. He really impressed me.

Apart from the personal incident which I'm not going to rehash yet again, I find Negreanu more disingenuous and two faced than anyone I've ever come across in gambling.

Whenever he says something is "for the good of poker" you can bet your bottom doallr it is actually for the good of Daniel Negreanu.

His treatment of Lederer v his treatment of EDog being the perfect case in point.

I played with Pierre in a side event of EPT Barcelona a couple of years ago and I paid him off with a queen on 77Q72 board and he took 40 seconds to turn over the nuts when called. I did a half laugh and said "thanks for the slowroll" and he berated me for being rude and playing badly for the next 20 minutes till the table broke :( He said he was really old and most players look at him like a grandfather and I should be more respectful and I have since then (no longer mention anything when slowrolled) but it wasn't a fun experience, although seemingly out of character!

He just busted, set over set on  6h 3d 2d. 33 vs 66.

Unfortunate, though well predicted. I'd have liked to see ESPN and the WSOP try and shine him up as an ambassador for the game for 12 months.

I clean forgot about your bet - well done. Bit of a nail-biter in the end.

Apart from the fact I believe him to be a tremendous Ambassador for the game (& of course his Sponsor), his presence in the November Nine would have added a lot of positive noise & publicity, which poker could well use, a sort of antidote to the Hastings malarky.

He would have been the only name the vast majority of poker players would know, too, & the noise would have migrated across to the non-poker media.

a great shame for poker that DN didn't make it

His agent @Balsbaugh was tweeting hand by hand and his twitter followers doubled yesterday

think there would have been not onloy wide interest from within poker but possibly wider than that if he was in the november nine, with him being such an accomplished self and sponsor publicist

I agree with that. I try not to hold grudges though, I just wait until people make the November 9 before I bad mouth them for maximum impact! Everyone else seems to have good things to say about him so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now.
