Title: Sky UKPC High Roller (TONIGHT!)
Post by: temp0r on August 19, 2015, 04:04:43 PM
Won a seat through the live sat at DTD last night and have 15% available to reserve at 1.15mu - £19 per 1%

For anyone who doesn't know me it's Guy Taylor here and all useful links below and sharkscopes attached and up to date.

I've played 2 of these DTD high rollers recently and know the field well. I've also focused on live MTTs rather than online the past 3 months so my live game is very fresh atm.

Reserve by posting in this thread or contacting me on facebook (my profile picture is Pierre Neuville)

Hey

Sorry if you think I'm flaming but especially in these high rollers I like to buy big pieces so like to see justifications on markups.

Your Abi online seems to be around $20 with about 25% roi. In fact if you take away your biggest score you'd be -30k ish around 1500bis of your abi.

You said you've been focusing on live tournaments and feel great, in last 4 months you only have 1 cash which was in the opposite of this field (200$ in the Goliath)

Don't see any "high roller" results on your resume etc

I just thought as regular buyer/backer and part of this community I should post. Feel free to tell me to gtfo and I promise no hard feelings/anything remotely personal.

Funny that posts that are apparently suggesting I'm
Trolling are way bigger trolling posts.

Someone grumpy cos he missed out on a great purchase...

Could have turned £285 into £,2725!

What's this all about? seems out of character for you.

Pads didn't stop anyone buying because it was marked as sold out before he posted, he just pointed out that the original post didn't provide a huge amount of support for selling part of a satellite won seat at a mark up. I'm pretty sure he wasn't the only one to think it even if he was the only one who posted it.

I'm with Mr 3103 here. Surprised to see the comments. Pleno asked a perfectly reasonable question. The OP has given the best possible answer of course, so fair play, but 15% markup was fairly questioned on the info given.

It's got to be healthy for staking threads to be open to scrutiny. Letting market forces decide only works if people know what the value of things actually is.

Be excellent to one another, folks.

I just thought everyone's responses to Pleno were banter and not actually serious?

I would have thought it was fairly obvious I was a lil drunk and winding pleno up!

Then when pads seemed to bite I just went in for some more trolling lol. He should know better! :-p

Mark up is way too high, agree. Don't think it really needs policing myself.

Yeh I was with Dave at the time and it was just such a pure wind-up spot when Guy had ignored the post and just bossed it and come 2nd.

We also thought that if people think the markup is too high, they won't buy, people who think it's fair or who don't particularly care about a few quid in EV and fancy a gamble, will. Simple as that.

For balance tho, Guy has a very silly hair do.

Agree. He defo should have put a picture of the hair up for clarity before selling :-D

Joking ofc, apologies to pleno if he got annoyed and well played to guy for winning monies.

Happy faces please
