I was going to go into further food based things ive never eaten but i thought it would become to mundane.

You could not pay me enough to eat an egg now but I'm told that Mum tried forcing them down me until I was about 1 when she gave up.

Honestly think I would heave, the smell is evil. Boil it, poach it, fry it, scramble it - don't care, not happening.

I would guess more than 50% of people in this country have either a piercing and/or tattoo.  Seems pretty mundane to me.

Wow, I wouldn't say it's anywhere near that figure.  I'm not sure I know more than a few people with tattoos, even less with piercings (Other than ears)  Certainly they are in the minority.

Pdf link at the bottom suggest 20% of people have a tattoo.  I assume the 1% of people that would rather not say do.

As a child I had a patch testing on my arm I think they tested 8 or 10 things one of which was egg's.

The doctor said I had one of the highest reading's possible for egg's my mum used to "test" egg's on my skin. Every time she touched my arm with an egg my whole arm came up in a rash.

At the age of 12 I told her this was a pretty pointless activity the rash is always the same and I am never going to eat an egg.

So to this day no egg.


Funny one, on the test 24 years ago I didnt get tested for Nuts as that was not a common allergy back then, I am however allergic to nuts and found out after eating a curry when i was about 14.

Most of the girls I know have a piercing so therefore that very quickly gets you near to 50%.

I would have guessed 10% of the population have a tattoo so 20% surprises me. If 5% of lads of piercings? Possibly to high But i think if someone asked be to take over under on 50% I would go over.

Nobody really knows. It's pretty accepted it comes from 'bleu' and France, but beyond that....nope.

Which is ironic, because the French call a blue steak 'anglais' now...

one I had done when I was 16 and don't like very much, but it's on my back so I never see it. The other two I'm very proud of and wouldn't change for the world. I'm pretty sure the vast majority of people with tattoos don't regret them one bit.

Had this done last month and I love it.
It's the logo for one of my bands. We're having to break up next year as the singer is moving away (and he's not replaceable). We've become a really close group of friends over the last 8 years, not just current members, but ex-members, wives, girlfriends, kids and many of our regular fans and their families too. Couldn't think of a better way of commemorating it that getting inked.
