UKOPS is coming up in November, the schedule's not been released yet, but I'm going to sell 30% of all my UKOP's games at no mark up.

If you want a % please just let me know, the schedule's not been released yet, but expect total buy in's to be about £1000.

-Maximum of 10% per individual (no minimum), a full schedule will be put up before games commence, if I don't or can't play any specified game for any reason that game will be refunded
-The buy in's will range from £5-£110.
-Many of the games will be bounty hunters, with bounties of course been included.
-I will update results in the blog section.

Over June/July I had a downswing of about £1000 for MTT's, but that has now been turned around and my Sharkscope (today) is at the highest it's ever been.

I don't have a scope membership but profit for MTT's in 2015 is approx. £5000, with a v decent ROI.

If you want to reserve a % please just post on here, when I release the full schedule, there's no problem if you want a higher or lower %, up to max of 10%.

Good luck Lord Larson, I'm confident you'll give your investors a good sweat & honest updates.

The schedule is close to being finalised, & the current thinking is that it will be much bigger than previously, probably twice as big as previous UKOPS. Still extremely small by 'Stars standards, of course, but the last one beat it's guarantees by around 40%, so they are bring a tad braver this time.

In my OP I talked about buy ins from £5 - £110.

With the sheer amount of games on offer and to keep things simple, for the purposes of "staking" i'm going to offer a % in £22+ games only.

I've not had a chance to look at the full schedule yet (below is just the "main" events, the one's I've bolded I expect to be playing, not to sure on what other games yet.

Given the sheer number of games on offer/ I won't know a proper schedule until ona  day to day basis, and defo won't be playing every day!

I propose to keep it simple selling for £1.1k games

10%=£110
5%=£55

I will post up all games included in the stake prior to the commecment of the games on a day-to-day basis. If the total spend is under 1.1k, any unused monies would be refunded in full, if spend was going to be over 1.1k I would let everyone know.

Maybe slightly different to my OP, if anyone wants to pull out or take a lower % it's no problem whatsoever.

**The £11 £25k BH is sick value, must be some kind of promo, expect some overlay there if the site doesn't collapse!

There is a couple of these games. Contrary to my previous post, any UKOPs games I play i'll include in the stake. It spreads the variance - having more games - and will make it more interesting, it's also fantastic value for anyone investing having these £11 massive gtee games included.

Some games start at 4, if playing i'll mostly be starting from 7 onwards.

Few hands later called SB JAM from BB with KJ, he had JQ (he had lost most of his chips the previous hand) Q OTT, to be left with 30k- 3 bigs.

The game I won last night, 3 handed i was down to 15k, blinds 2.5k/5k. I was the chip leader (just) and ran a 3 barrel bluff against the player 2nd in chips, ina  3 bet pot, where i check raised the flop, bet turn jammed river. Opponent called with Ace high, AK. It was a fantastic call and 99%+ of players would have folded there. I don't mind my play at all, as it put the player under a lot a pressure and a tough spot for his tournament life.

Span the 3 bigs up, got to HU against the player from above managing to take it down.

I'm not really enjoying the UKOPs games much at all. I highly doubt I will spend the £1100. Any unused amounts will, of course, be returned.

The games are pretty much the same most nights, there is little variation. There is no point in playing a game for the sake of playing. For the next week, i will be playing fewer UKOPS games/ be more selective in the games i play.

Was going to play the main tonight, but they included 10 seats for the main, which of course I can't play.  It is just annoying, the buy in is £100 and the seat is £100.  Clearly I can afford the seat if I wanted to enter the main. 

Don't know if it was just me, SKy was lagging/ freezing a lot, I was one tabling the £22 lol, busted just before the bubble, it was a fun exit.

Ha, I know that & was not suggesting otherwise, I was addressing it in case others got the wrong end of the stick.

It read as if those extra seats were part of the prize pool, & replaced the actual money, but that was not the case, they were added to the prize pool.

The bumf I saw from Sky Poker read as follows;


Once again we are adding value to tonight's UKOPS Main Event. Our 8pm centrepiece not only has £10,000 cash guaranteed but we have also added 10 UKOPS Main Event seats to the prizepool.

So that would appear to be very misleading to me. I'll ask for a better understanding.

As to it happening again, I have no involvement in those decisions. I'll certainly query that description though, & let you know.

The seats increased the guarantee, but were definitely part of the prize pool.  I have checked 2 tournaments now.   What may well have happened is that there was an intention to add them, but the software was incorrectly set up.

Maybe so. I've sent an e-Mail upstairs asking for clarification.

I've had a lengthy exchange of notes with Upstairs about this David - you were 100% correct, & I was wrong - my apologies.

In actuality, the "added value" was actually an addition to the Guarantee. To my mind, these are different things, & need clarifying more clearly.

They have taken the point - it was a genuine error, or different view of what constitutes "added value" - but in future, they'll word such things more clearly.

I don't know how often they will make these "offers", but I do know they will be adding £1,100 worth of additional seat (NOT to UKOPS though) in Sunday's UKOPS Main Event, effectively increasing the Guarantee to £41,100. It will be accurately described, & I'll clarify if need be.

Just a note to advise the UKOPS events tonight and tomorrow will have an increased guarantee. Ten UKOPS Main Event seats have been added onto the guarantee both nights essentially meaning the guarantee of the event is now £16,100!
