Looking to sell half my action for the Main Event at Amsterdam at 1.14 (or 1.1 if you can give me cash in Euros) I love this tournament, I feel comfortable and happy in the environment and I firmly believe it is much weaker than the comparitively sized EPT mains. May be not quite so good as it was 10 years ago, but still wouldn't miss it if at all possible. High point was 42k, low 11k. Doubt I've ever played so long without making two pair, trips, a straight, a flush or a house. (I did flop quads the one time I had aces - won a bowl of rice) Won only 4 nice pots all day, twice with overpairs and twice picking off bluffs. Need to be "climber of the day" badly tomorrow. Run a shade better today, & anything is possible. What's the atmo like there these days? They still got that wonderful ceiling, with al the twinkling lights? It used to be a three act play just to get into the place, with turnstile access even 10 years ago, is that still the case? Bushy - a non-smoker - always used to select a seat in the "smoking" side of the room, as he had a theory that smokers did not concentrate as well as non-smokers, & the tables were softer.
