Get moved, open AJs UTG get peeled and KJ3 flop ck ck turn 8 he cks I bet 4k and he goes to 12k. I call and he bets 20k on a 6 river. I fold.

Very next hand I'm BB at 1600. SB jams 14k I call 66 lose a flip v J7. We ever flopped a. FD!

Got 10 bigs 16k right now.

Got my 6 bigs in with AK v J9

KQTxss7s and we still lose!

Open QJhh UTG 8k Rec peels UTG1 and we are HU.

Flop. QJ7ddx. We bet 10k. He calls. Think our bet size here is an error on such a wet board v this specific opponent I should just potted

Then 3x. We check as from previous hands he likes to bluff and will also bet with Q/J. He checks back.

River 2d. We bet 13k he raises to 31k and we talk to him. Make it obv we have a strong hand and he's not concerned so we fold. He shows K8dd.

He was a 10c qualifier and we had been chatting and friendly so way less likely to bluff me anyway.

Very next hand free roll qualifier limps. Unknown but assumed decent player (he has been chatting about hands at the table to a very good reg) goes to 10k. We call 55 BB. Limper folds (shocked about that)

Flop AQ5 rainbow. I check he bets 12.5k. I decide to call as no real draws and reckon he can barrel on so many turn cards.

Turn 7x check check

River Kx I lead 18k which is a similar size to the last river lead I did. He tank raises to 48k. I don't think I can ever fold here given the last hand plus I can be value betting so many weakish hands here. He's just seen me bet fold 2 pair and tbh on this board and action I rarely have more than a 1 pair hand. I call and obv JT.

We then folded the last 15 mins.

As I said I'd have properly steamed them in if it was all my own action as such a great comp and I played good but 18 bigs and day 2 is fine. It'll feel better in the morning!

Lost half our stack bet folding 2 pair and somehow got shown a bluff

Got in 12bb with AJhh v KT and river T.

Just checked the structure sheet on DTD and says blinds 2/4k for Day 2.

They roll them back for the Grand Prix events.

Missed this.  Yeah usually I'd have given live a shot too (or actually the Unibet Open at the Vic) but I have plans for Saturday so online with day 2 on Sunday works for me.

Will go for another try tonight.  £370 an entry so £740 taken from the £3.3k returns.

Irish Open at the end of the month looks likely.  It is €1150 with a €500kGTD.  They do have a €2kHR event, which is 8max and 30 min clock.  I'm not sure of the value of this kind of event tho.

I presume that DTD will have something similar to this months event on so I'll play that too.

GUKPT Reading next month which is a £550 with a £100k GTD.

It's tough finding tournies to play really!  Couple of events that clash with other things so can't get involved.  UKIPT London would be good but I'm doing the commentary for the Grand Prix on the same weekend.

Peeled pre multiway in a 3bet pot with JTss from the SB, where the BB had squeezed and a couple came along.

J74xxs and BB bets 1/4 pot flop and I call.

Turn 9x and he bets 16k into 90k. I can win on any J/T/8 and he has me covered.

Brick the river and goes check check b QQ.

So yeah a bad 85k.

Made it thru the day with 87k coming back to 2.5/5k.

Got as high as 150 3 times but quickly got sent back down.  Played one silly hand where I 4bet/folded that cost me 30k but apart from that I just didnt have a lot to play with and no really good situations either.  Was pretty handcuffed on my last table with stacks/players.  Don't regret anything that I opened with pre and never had many post flop decisions that I could have played different.

I think in the hand that I posted earlier with the JT on a J749 I could have potentionally min raised turn jammed every non pairing river card as given the player/action pre he is so nutted towards AA/KK/QQ ONLY and I have all the sets and some 2 pairs that it could have got thru.  I was pretty disappointed with myself during the break that in game I didn't even really consider that line.

I'm guessing theres around 115 remaining and 95 paid.

Spin spin. Your musings about the JT hand remind me of a comment Galfond once made about a young Tom Dwan (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showpost.php?p=1957347&postcount=34   towards the bottom). It is hard as a poker player to consider all the options because many of our decisions fit into a usually obvious A or B decision so even considering the third option that doesn't fit into this either; passive call/fold decision or aggressive, call/raise decision. Its largely about mindset and not something that is as relevant in the modern era because you will understand these spots much better than 2007 Galfond. MR turn/Jam river looks pretty FOS to me but I guess it depends on your opponents awareness levels. Wouldn't we be jamming sets on the turn due to stack size/opponents likelihood of betting the river even with QQ/KK? Gf with the 7s I imagine, tough to know just how nitty he would need to be though. Good to see a fold when many would punt in this sort of spot.

I'm sure that you're doing your best but I think that if you want to get more views for this thread from people who have not invested a penny in you, you might consider including the following:

1. Total prize pool
2. Number of people paid
3. Minimum cash
4. Number of players remaining
5. Average stack size
6. Leader's chip count
7. Table draw
8. Wind direction and speed
9. Predominant colour of clothing in the room
10. Any celebrities spotted
11. Any food available in the card room (I believe that this is a big favourite with some followers)
12. Gratuitous pictures of women, be they opponents, dealers or just railers

I hope that this helps.

There's the WPT HR coming up mid May which is £2200.

If it's ok with everyone then I'd like to play this event on the stake.

Will mean £30550 in total returns and that 2.5% will be worth £763.75, plus still a sweat for everyone in the WPT HR.

Looking likely that I won't be able to play the WPT HR. DTD have a special sit and go which they have asked me to commentate on the same night.

Have been told that there could be a chance to late reg at 11.40 tho, but would rather not do that.  If everyone is happy to late reg then I will do of course.

The obvious choice would be to roll over to the WPT National but already committed to some swaps.

Vegas package is a possibility but that's gonna be bigger and also had some sold.

I think with it being £2200 that I owe the stake we could go for a $3000 WSOP event, as that level of event will not be on the package.

Anyway will advise once I've had a think. Could also just return the percentages.

I became aware of this last Monday or Tuesday after a mate text me.

I made a withdrawal and paid various people back on Saturday with another payment that I will make on Tuesday or Wednesday to a couple of others.

All the investors were sent PMs about this too expressing my apologies for this cock up.

To those who aren't investors, I'd just like to say that the circumstances around this oversight was basically a perfect storm of shit. Ultimately it was my mistake but I hope that my transparency and honesty during my years in the blonde, and wider poker, community shows that this isn't a reflection of my character.

I've always used this forum to sell pieces as I felt it was important to support a resource like this; I was always able to just sell out on FB or just texting some guys but I remembered all the fun sweats I've had from buying pieces on here throughout the years. I hope that I can still use this facility in the future bother as a seller and a buyer.

I'd just like to publicly say apologise to Tikay as my laziness and oversight goes against what this staking board was created for.

Anyway as I said things are now all clear. A disappointing end to what was a successful staking package.
