CARIBBEAN POKER PARTY (CPP) *** DO YOU WANT US TO DO THIS AGAIN???? ***

Okay - in November 2016 it's the 10 year anniversary of DTD winning its court case and getting its licence to open. Some of you will remember what a nightmare that was. To celebrate this - there is a possibility IF there is enough interest that we go back to the Caribbean and do the Carribean Poker Poker (CPP) again, I would be interested in your views whether this is something that floats your boat.

Here is a rough outline of what we are thinking of doing;

1. Nick Whiten has talked to a few hotels and we have a few nice options, e.g. - the Hard Rock in Punta Cana link here http://www.hardrockhotelpuntacana.com/ Dates would be same as last time - 26th November - 3rd December 2016

2. I would approach partypoker to be the official sponsor and our partner - there would be plenty of qualifiers from 1c, we would prob start with $10,000 packages for 2 people (that would pay for 2 x flights, full inclusive accommodation for 2 and 2 x$2000 buy-ins), we would also offer single package satellites

3. I would approach WPT, instead of doing a $5000 High Roller we would kick off the week with a WPT Main Tour Event $5000 buy-in which would lead into the partypoker $2K Main Event. Both the WPT and partypoker Main Event would be $1M Gtd each. We would have some cheaper side events $100 to $500 like last time.

4.The theme of the week would very much like the last CPP, ie. FUN - we don't start the poker till the sun goes down and there are plenty of activities and parties and stuff for families with kids

5. We would look to charter our own partypoker plane from the UK,maybe with a couple of poker tables in the breakup the journey

I had the good fortune to spend a week there last November as part of a promo Next Door.

It's a stunning place, & "all-inclusive" means exactly that, you simply can't spend money there, all meals & ALL drinks are completely free. Even each room has a fully stocked bar, with proper bottles of spirits (not tiddly bottles, big bottles), & that's all included. The resort has a dozen or more eateries, of every description, & you don't pay for any meals, it's all included.

It's right on the beach, too, & the rooms are gorgeous, every room has a Jacuzzi thing.

The Resort has its own Golf Course, too.

We were lucky enough to go in November with Tikay and next door and it was incredible.  We cannot speak highly enough of the resort and just what an amazing place it is to play poker.

Yup this for me too, and with other stuff going on and a 6 month old it would be a no for us this time but having gone to the last one could thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

How would it work if I had no choice but to bring the kids (would rather not obv).  Having never done anything like this before, if I was to luckbox the 8k package do I have to pay for kids flights separate etc.

Caribbean Poker Race

Intro

Qualify for the Novembers PartyPoker Caribbean Adventure by playing nightly Dusk Till Dawn tournaments.

In June any player entering any of the nightly tournaments (£50 and below) can now opt in for the Caribbean Poker league for just £5 extra. All players entering the league will play a tournament on Saturday June the 30th at 4pm.

How it works

For every £5 entered in each of the Nightly events you will receive 1000 points. You will also receive bonus points for making the final table.

100 and above Less than 100
1st 10,000 7,500
2nd 8,000 6,000
3rd 6,000 5,000
4th 5,000 4,000
5th 4,000 3,000
6th 3,000 2,000
7th 2,000 1,500
8th 1,500 1,000
9th 1,000

Should a deal be struck, all players involved in the poker race will recieve the points given for the position of the number of players remaining.

These points will be converted into chips for the finals which takes place on the 2nd July.

Example:
Played 10 comps total 10 x 1000 =10,000
3rd place in a friday XXl monster (180 entries) 6,000
4th place in a XXL25 (80 entries) 4,000
starting stack = 20,000

Even if you only play once you will still have a chance to win your package but the more you play the better those chances will be. Players can top up their stack on the day of the final tournament, 5000 for £25. Only one top up per player allowed.

Any player re-entering a nightly comp must pay the £5 again, with this they will be treated as a fresh entry giving them the 1k + opportunity of final table bonuses.

DTD will guarantee 1 x $6,000 package and any money that may be collected over and above the cost of a package will be paid out to minor places on the final.

Simply play any Power Series tournament with a buy-in of $109* or more to get on the leaderboards. The more you play, the more points you earn, and the higher you climb. Every Monday a new Leaderboard will start, giving you 10 chances to bag a prize package!

Every week, partypoker are giving away 10 prize packages to the Caribbean Poker Party worth $6,000! Each prize package includes:

Not sure if you can help at all, but i won a $109 seat late May and unregged as was going on holiday the next day. I got back last week so went to play a satty last Friday but the ticket had already expired. It was my fault for not checking but as the sattys were running all summer I just assumed the ticket would be valid for a few months. I seems a bit unfair for party just to pocket $109 for free after a few weeks....

This promotion seems really good and I wasn't going to try and qualify to this since the wife will be nearly 8months pregnant by the end of the trip but package for 1... might have to give it a shot. Hi rich, I won a second package last night, do you know what my options are?  I have read somewhere I can get the $1k expenses plus play the $5k WPT event so that's good. Is it too late now to be able to sell/transfer the second package?

Niall Farrell won the Season XV partypoker World Poker Tour® Caribbean Main Event on Wednesday, topping a field of 323 entries to score his first WPT® title and $335,000 in first-place prize money. Included in Farrell’s prize was a $15,000 seat into the season-ending WPT Tournament of Champions, and that means we’ll be seeing him at Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL in April 2017 to close out the season.

With the victory, Farrell moved to over $3.3 million in career live tournament earnings. He also earned 1,000 points in the Hublot WPT Player of the Year race. With 1,050 total points on the season, Farrell was in seventh place at the completion of WPT Caribbean. Ben Zamani sat in first with 2,500 points and a commanding lead.

Farrell won the partypoker-sponsored WPT Caribbean Main Event as a partypoker qualifier.
